Hi Dr. Park! I am from Malaysia, which is a neighbouring country of Singapore. And yes, I also have combo, oily skin. Thank you for sharing these holy grails with us.
I moved to Malaysia recently, the weather is super hot and humid here🥵and omg I didn't know how to take care of my oily skin, and it got much worse, so many acne breakouts 😭😭😭
Hi doc, I am from northeast India, in summer temperatures soar to 39 degrees and humidity to 90 perecent I came to visit my family this summer in the northeast and right now my skin is breaking and freaking out. I have acne that is soar and it hurts. Some are tiny bumps and some are big. But all of them are red and there is no head My skin has become super oily. I was using just gel based moisturizer and sunscreen. Now i have started benzoyl treatment I have neen drinking a lot of water but nothing is getting better
I wouldn’t recommend those products for people who really have oily skin. I’ve tried them, they don’t work for me. Maybe for someone with dry skin who travels to humid weathers might be okay, but if you’re oily, just don’t.
I lived there!!!, it was sooo humid that l could not even wear sunscreen because the moment l went outdoors, everything l put on my face melted together with humidity and perspiration…
Tatcha moisturizer recommendation contains ingredients that aren't good for the skin: fragrances (limonene and linalool - irritants) and alcohol (releases free radicals, pro-aging). Both can lead to hyperpigmentation in most people on this planet and contact dermatitis in some ☹️
I live in DC which is in the 90s right now and so humid all summer long. Can you use the La Roche Posay sunscreen or the Dr Jart during pregnancy? Currently traveling and would like to buy the La Roche Posay sunscreen before going back to the US!
Hello! Both the La Roche Posay and Dr. Jart sunscreens are chemical sunscreens. Some dermatologists recommend mineral sunscreens only during pregnancy, and many recommend both chemical and mineral. Personally I do recommend both mineral and chemical sunscreens to pregnant patients so yes I would recommend these. There’s not one strict answer and it may depend on who you ask!
Does the smell of the UV Mune bother anyone? I bought the liquid version and it has a glue-like scent, and even feels like a glue on application. The product was legit and from an England-based online skincare store.
Finally a skincare video for oily skin in humid weather!
Hope this helps!!

Welcome to Singapore, Dr Park! It is raining season in July and August here. Hope you’d a great time!
Thank you! I was there for a week and had a fantastic time. I will dream about the chili crab 🦀
Do you have a humid skincare video for dry skin?
That sunscreen is perfect for tapping on the skin throughout the day for reapplying. It doesn't disrupt Make up...

Even better for SG weather is their uvmune oil control fluid. I use it for my face then the gel-cream to my neck. 🇯🇵
That sounds like a great option! Wish I got to try
Warning whit fluid you need put 2 layers !
Why does the FDA hate SPF?! Hi from SG; always on the look for oil relieving skincare, despite having normal -dry skin in Europe!

Do you have an established place where you work, where you can personally treat clients?

Interesting, I have not noticed a scent in mine, tinted or not!
Sorry dear In summers and Humidity it's not suitable at all to use so much moisturizing contents
