On the next stop of our “Florida tour”, we stayed at Blue Spring State Park! This park is a great place to see Florida manatees, which come into the springs during cold weather seeking warmer waters 💧 We had a chance to see TONS of manatees and it was our best experience yet seeing these magnificent creatures 🥰

If your trailer picks up your truck on uneven ground. It’s pin bound. Just back up the the truck . This will take the pressure of the pin. I hope this helps you in the future 👍

I agree with our 2600, we almost always have to neutralized the pin pressure by putting it in neutral and letting the truck and pin unbind…
We are from Seymour, Indiana and we were at Blue Spring. There were only 14 manatee when we were there on February 20. We have a DIY Ford Transit and we arrived when the park opened. We saw the manatees and took a nap before heading to Silver Springs for the night. Be safe! Blessings!

Last October, while staying a Fort Wilderness for 2.5 weeks, we took a break and took my son's family to River Ventures in Crystal River FL for a 4 hour tour (cue the Gillian's Island theme), which they called a Semi-Private tour. We had a blast swimming with the manatees in that cool fresh water.
BTW, I'm a recent subscriber to your channel, and love it. I heard your from Indiana, so those of us in Indy wish you the best..
Two and a half weeks at Fort Wilderness sounds incredible! And swimming with the manatees has been on our list for quite awhile - we've only kayaked with them so far. Thank you so much for the kind words and for following along on our adventure with us, we love hearing from fellow Hoosiers! ❤

@@lifererouted We love the layout of the XLS 22mle. . Great counter space and love the plenty of drawers and having both the a dinette on the camp side & sofa-recliners on opposite side across from TV. We're not big on large TT's if we ever went bigger it would be a small 5th wheel series by GD or a Motor-coach that can tow a small car? We don't see that for years to come. Then again we're not full-time. A 22ft box is large enough but in total we're 26.1 ft

Put your truck in neutral with a person in the drivers seat when you raise the hitch. Will avoid the big drop that way. Easier on both truck and trailer.

Loved your Video, we use to live in Deleon Springs Florida and use to visit Blue springs state park often. we moved back to n.c. in April of this year, and your Video reminded us of home.

Really nice video guys! I hate sites where we are nose up like that too! Maybe different tire chocks would give you a little better peace of mind. We found heavy duty rubber ones with handles on them I think at Tractor Supply. we add X-chocks to help with stability. Keep enjoying FL and we'll keep enjoying watching ya! Be Well!

I’ve seen manatees. I was being scuba qualified in Florida. I don’t recall which state park. I had privilege to pet one, a cow, I was told.
That's so cool! We've seen some scuba divers in the springs before. There are SO many springs down here we'd love to explore!

We were there over Christmas ‘21. There were 277 manatees (per Ranger). Best experience ever! Such a hidden gem!

Would use x chokes and anderson levelers with anti slip (sand paper stuff) on them. Also would do, like I did got welder buddy to make up 1x1 square tube with plate with bolts welded on to match wheel spacing and weld under front frame just behind storage compartment,can send pictures, out of sight, out of weather ,just put wheel cover over to protect tire. Get x-chocks and put them on before unhooking. The wheels would have to slide but not roll.
We have x-chocks that we usually put on after we unhook. That's a good idea! We'll have to try that next time!

Love the link to your rack, but what hitch did you place on your trailer, was it bumper mounted or frame mounted?
Thank you! It's bumper mounted. We had trouble finding a hitch receiver that fit comfortably so Steph's dad actually welded one for us. Hope that helps!

They are so cool! So we bought this receiver www.amazon.com/dp/B0721P76YZ/?ref=idea_lv_dp_ov_d but we had to have Steph's dad fabricate u-bolts to fit our bumper. The bumper sits too close to the RV body. It was complicated, but we've enjoyed it!

We were there on Monday and there were only 13 manatees and we saw 8. We did see two gators too. We live just a few miles from Gamble Rogers but have never camped there. Hard site to get into. Just a question. Why do so many UA-camrs that RV have Grand Designs?
Oh wow, can't believe there were only 13! Maybe because it's a lot warmer now compared to when we went? That's cool you live so close! Hm I've really never thought about the UA-camr question but there are quite a few aren't there. We picked our GD out in 2018 and have loved it since - it's definitely a popular brand!

Yeah man, we were enjoying temps in the 40's until Monday night, when it dropped back into the single digits and we got like two inches of accumulated sleet overnight, it didn't actually snow at all. We have a 2022 Imagine 2600 rb. How did you attach the bike rack to back of rv? Our dealer advised against putting it on the bumper. Did you need to reinforce anything?
Hey Janet! We welded a hitch receiver and attached it to the bumper. We also bought a kuat bike rack and have lighter weight bikes. Ours is a 2018 model so I'm not sure if there are any differences to the 2022 model.
What was the app that tracks campsite openings? Wondering labs?

Why are you using legos instead of those slanted lifts you roll up onto?
Good question! We've always used the stabilizer blocks (the legos) with no issues. We don't have any experience with the slanted ones but I do know some people use them.
