I’ve been looking for FL State park vlogs for so long, and I’m so excited that I found your channel! I live in the Panhandle and want to plan camping trips to the park in central FL! Thanks for the videos!
We're so happy you found us!! ❤️❤️❤️ And what a coincidence that you live in the Panhandle. I think you'll love some of our upcoming videos! (hint hint) 😊
I know! We must have been camping on one of the coldest nights of the year. It really is a great time to be outside when you're in Florida. Sarah is a cold sleeper so she welcomed the extra power for the heating blanket. 😂🔥
I'm a new subscriber and I love your channel.. We are going to juniper springs for my 57th birthday on December28th and this is our next trip!❤.Thanks for the amazing videos .. All.the places to camp in Florida
That's so awesome Jessica! Happy birthday! 🎂🥳 I'm sure it'll be a little chilly but if you get a good fire going it'd be the perfect weather for camping! Also, the air outside is pretty cold but the water temperature actually stays the same year round so it'll be it's normal 72 degrees. Enjoy! 💓
Thank you so much GT! It's crazy looking back on older photos. We definitely haven't lost our sense of adventure! Hehe. A back in the day history video would be fun. We wish we would've been filming back then! We have tons of photos though. So happy you're enjoying the videos! 💕
Hooray! A special treat - a Thursday video!!!! AND we get to see your amazing cat!!! Yet another great video!!!! The racoon reminded me of my home town and seeing lots of racoons all the time!
It's adventure Thursday! We thought we'd try out a new day. Our cat doesn't mind being on camera. 😆 He loves the attention. So glad you enjoyed the video Freeman! 🎉
Are you guys aware of the Rails to Trails bike / walking trail that runs between the campground and the actual RR Tracks. You should have brought your bikes, it's a beautiful ride or walk with lots of shade. Once you find the trail entrance make sure you head North and if you get to Lake Beresford Park, be sure to check out the trail there too.
Thanks for the suggestion Don! We had biked around the area on the Rails to Trails path a long time ago but didn't have our bikes with us on this one. What a great area to have biking, hiking, camping, and kayaking all in one. 😊 We're so lucky to have it nearby.
@@PSAdventures We live in Dade City (a bit N of Tampa) and Blue Springs is one of our favorite FL State Parks. We both retired last year and have been making the rounds of the State Parks, especially parks with bike trails nearby.
Nice! That sounds like a dream come true, retiring and visiting state parks. We have a ton of them on our list and can't wait to discover more of them. Let us know if you find any favorites!
Blue Springs my neck of the woods for 50 years, I lived off of Blue Springs Ave. which use to be the original entrance to the park but now you can ride your bike over the pedestrian bridge that goes over the tracks which Amtrak runs on and the auto train and you pay a dollar at the kiosk box to go in ..The Spring to Spring trail was just completed on the South side of Debary which connects DeLeon Springs, Lake Beresford, Blue Springs, Gemini Springs and Lake Monroe Park before you enter Seminole County by the Sunrail Station. If you go over the St John's river in Seminole County by Lake Monroe Park the bike trail turns into Seminole cross bike trail and Seminole Wekiva trail which will connect to all the bike trails together from Deleon, DeLand, Orange City,Debary,Sanford, Lake Mary, Altamonte Springs, Casselberry, Winter Springs, Oviedo and even on to Orlando, Winter Park 😀 and now Clermont. Most of the Seminole bike trails were built on existing railroad tracks. My Aunt lived in Altamonte right next to the Lil Wekiva River where the old sketchy wooden train track bridge crosses the Lil Wekiva which is now the San Sebastion trailhead on 436 the Seminole Wekiva trail loved visiting there on the weekends growing up! I really liked the video of you all canoeing on the Wekiva river something I really want to do eventually and the Rock Springs. I ended up doing a video going down the run at Rock Springs it came out pretty good. Some of the fondest memories I have growing up near Blue Springs is my Dad carrying me over his shoulders to get to the boil back before there was even a boardwalk there just mud. Thanks for sharing and bring your bikes next time you won't be disappointed there's a natural sinkhole that the bike trail goes around which is a Lake but its a amazing view right next to the RR tracks
Haha! The life of vloggers. Blue Springs is a great place to visit if you haven't! We've camped many times over the years and it's always a fun experience. Diving at the boil is a pretty cool experience also!
Wow first of all amazing quality video you guys look like a channel that has millions of subscribers also I love blue springs I love to free dive there and take my kayak in from French landing
Thank you so much for the kind words! We work hard to make our videos better all the time. 😊 Blue Springs is such an awesome place especially when you get down to the boil. Happy adventuring!
I was camping in a tent with my family at blue springs a few years ago and i was in the tent with my siblings and i heard a rustling outside . On top of the picnic table a racon was rummaging through our snacks and i yelled hey! Thats not yours! He froze in place and ran away but not before dropping the chip bag he was holding 😂
Haha! 😂😂 We've ran across racoons on so many occasions camping now. One of the most memorable was in Gatlinburg, Tennessee when we were cooking Indian for dinner and an entire family came down like gangsters! They were not scared at all and kept getting closer until finally we had to escape! They're so funny!
I'm loving your videos and binge watching as I go. Y'all seem to really like manatees so I'd suggest you visit the manatee viewing area sponsored by Tampa Electric Company near Apollo Beach. To get there exit the Apollo Beach exit and head west towards the power plant which you can see from the interstate. Along the way there is also a shopping center that has a Home Depot in it. In that shopping center you will find the Old Castle German Restaurant that has several vegan choices along with some great beers and wine. Keep up the great work. I love Florida as well and have seen most of it as a truck driver over the last 40 years.
Thanks so much for the suggestion Rusty! We had heard there was somewhere in Florida where manatees went near a power plant but couldn't remember what it was. So glad you're enjoying the videos! Go truckers! Paul's dad was a truck driver for many years and we have a lot of fond memories of him in his semi. Happy adventuring!
Thanks so much Judi!! Our current tent is a Mountain Laurel Designs (MLD) Duomid that's several years old now. It's a pyramid tent that you use trekking poles with. We're looking to upgrade our tent soon to a similar but better model. So glad you enjoyed and thanks for the birthday wish! 💕
By any chance can you tell me what the regulations are for the firewood .. a lot of parks are different.. were you guys able to bring your own wood or do they sell it there at the park ..
Thanks for the question! I'm not sure there are regulations on firewood in Blue Springs but you'll have to call and ask if you're worried about it. I'm pretty sure at this park there isn't since we've brought firewood many times. Normally though we buy firewood bundles from Publix and bring it in but if we forget we just buy it right at the park there since they have it for sale. Definitely check to make sure they have it when you go though since they might sell out.
@PS Adventures thank you I appreciate the response.. I'll be camping there with my family towards the end of April .. I was reading online you can only buy wood at the park but people have been telling me I can bring my own .. I'll call and double check ..thanks again
Thank you so much Beth! It was site 33. Are you planning a trip to Blue Springs?! It's getting to be the perfect time of year when you can see lots of manatees!
Nice! Well... you probably already know this, but all the springs are quite different in that area. So if you're interested in doing a little spring hopping, we'd also recommend Juniper Springs for the kayak run (ua-cam.com/video/QQ1ZC_i1x9E/v-deo.html) and for the pancake experience (ua-cam.com/video/ppiu0wB-X-s/v-deo.html). Whatever you do, we're excited for you. Enjoy!

No we don't have any kids other than our little fur ball at the moment. 😆🐈 While we do love being around kids, we aren't planning on them in the future. We try to build friendships and focus on family, but also keep busy planning a lot of adventures!

I wanted to see the frozen aftermath next morning! Great video, thanks.
We would've been a lot colder without our secret weapon! 😂
You guys are wonderful, going to all our favorite places.
Good memories come back.❤❤
Thanks so much! It's so awesome to visit such beautiful places. We love armchair traveling to places we've been too! Thanks for watching! ❤️
its so rare to be that cold in Florida!
