thank you this was very helpful as a diabetic who has had no impact on my eyes until now my optometrist was not very worried but the report said moderate and I wanted to understand better.
Great content. Just diagnosed with severe NPDR but i feel i am probably moderate but the optometrist wants to scare me to see the ophthalmologist which i am scheduled to see. On my scan he showed me a total of 20 or so bleeds total not so much in quarters. Im nervous that the ophthalmologist will do a flouriscien dye test. I hate needles and would prefer the other OCT imagery methods. Is this possible or is the dye test mandatory? Thanks so much..
Mam my father is having severe npdr without macular edema. Also bilateral catract. His doctor advised him to wait for laser treatment for diabetic retinopathy. Will it be fine to wait
