My favorite meme had Winnie the Pooh and Piglet sitting by a stream under a tree. Piglet looks up to Pooh and asks "Pooh, what makes the world go round?" And Pooh responds "Fat Bottomed Girls, Piglet! Fat Bottomed Girls!"

@@shadowprophet99 ah yes, makes sense they have multiple great successful albums and one of the greatest and best selling albums in all of music, not just rock. You know, because they don't have even one great song.

I truly like to see the reactions from a younger generation probably because I grew up with this generation of music. I was a teenager in the 70's and it was just an awesome time to be a teenager.
I'm sure mine is an unpopular opinion, but I HATE Bicycle Race. As much as I love Fat Bottom Girls, and it pains me to not sing along with it, I hate Bicycle Race the same amount. The only thing that makes me shut off a radio faster than Bicycle Race is hearing Def Leppard come on.
A song written by a scientist, and as a fellow scientist, I consider this paper peer-reviewed. Fat bottom girls do indeed make the rockin' world go 'round.
Yes. And a lot of people think Freddie was gay, and he mostly was, but he was bisexual more than anything. He had many relations and relationships with women his entire life up until he became ill.

Loved watching your reaction. You looked like you genuinely liked it with your smiling and rocking back and forth. With that being said, I very, very highly recommend you listen to Queen's "Who Wants to Live Forever" from the major motion picture "HIGHLANDER". It could bring a tear to your eye. Lyrically and musically, it is just fiercely powerful on an emotional level. Great movie too.
I love the way the vocals caught your interest...then the guitar and drums just pulled you in!!! You just went, "Oh!", then started rockin' out. GREAT REACTION....
This song makes me think about my dad. This was his ringtone for years when ringtones were just tones and not actual songs. Thank you for inadvertantly bringing me some memories of my dad.
i think that is smart but i would follow it with we will rock you or hammer to fall only because of the beat and sort of how intense it is compared to some of their other songs like killer queen or bohemian rhapsody
Ok, I've been creeping the channel for a while now. Your reactions are fun, and cover a lot of music that I love, so it's really heart warming to see people discover rock/alt/metal/whatever, so now, I'm a subscriber. This has always been a big favorite of mine. The vocal harmonies are wonderful, and the bass line grooves so well. Queen is one of my all time favorite bands. Each member is a musical god on their own. I dabbled in both drums and guitar before settling on bass, and each member of this band served as influence to me. Freddie Mercury is hands down the best front man in rock history, in my humble opinion.
Another of Brian May's songs off of the 1978 album "Jazz". This song along with "Bicyce Race" was made kind of infamous when a video was shot for "Bicyce Race" with dozens of nude models riding, what else, bicycles around a track. The album also came with a 2 foot long poster of the ladies on bikes during the video shoot. Also this was another i got to see done live in 1980.
I watched the entire video. Enjoyed your reaction. Queen is one of my favorite groups. Love this song! Other great songs by Queen worth checking out include I Want It All, Dragon Attack, You're My Best Friend and Headlong to name some.

Miss Shiloh, may I respectfully suggest that if you do intend to go down the Queen rabbit hole (and I hope you do!), try some of their very early heavy rocking stuff as well, such as 'Tie Your Mother Down', 'Seven Seas of Rhye', 'Sheer Heart Attack', "Brighton Rock' 'I Want it All', 'Now I'm Here', 'Keep Yourself Alive' and others, and others. Also, of their more recent stuff, I think you would REALLY enjoy 'A Kind of Magic', 'Hammer to Fall' and 'One Vision'. Love your reactions; keep up the good work :)

One impressive thing about Queen is, that a majority of their songs are built upon each other, many songs refer to previous songs, like Bicycle Race and Fat Bottomed Girls ("Get on your bikes and ride") or I Want it All and We are the Champions. Innouendo has a direct connection to Bohemian Rhapsody, and so on. Queen basically wasn't writing songs, even though they did and these songs are standing for themselves. But these songs also are parts of a bigger picture in a way of "I want To Break Free", "Breakthru", "Living on My Own" and "The Show must go On", and stuff like that.

This song & "Bicycle Race" were written as a protest of the fact, that England's parliament outlawed a scheduled nude bicycle race in their country.
