If u can’t run a vm U can always use WSL, my pc has a bug so it can’t run Linux but WSL(Windows Subsystem for Linux) runs fine, there’s lots of tutorials on it and setting it up can be intimating but it’s good to understand the technical aspects of a system
Taking this then my LPI 1. Didn't realize how lucky I was to get a server support job with basically 0 experience outside of retail and no degree until I started searching around the internet and saw people with degree's struggling to get entry level jobs.
I going through the official LPI objectives. There is lot even on the essentials exam!!! From the open source and license thing to bash scripting! My guess is that you either get lucky with the questions you get on exam day or you've been tinkering with linux in real life for some time if you want to pass the exam. As i said in another thread I'll try my luck soon 😅
I watched the whole shawn powers series, half-way thru cisco linux training includes ubuntu simulators via browser they are good. I have attended 2 of Youngblood’s cohorts. I wonder if I am over studying plus I have been advised to read lpi book then do dions practices. Trying to avoid reading the book(s).
The legend putting amazing and high quality content out daily 🔥🔥 my man killing it with that quality 😎 Keep up the great work my good man! Your videos are always amazing and really helpful! Thank you!!
Thanks for the informative video. I am going to take the Linux Essentials exam tomorrow morning. I have been studying for 2 months. I have used Ubuntu 20.4 LTS as my primary OS since late August. I have watched Jason Dion's Udemy LE course at least 5 times AND completed the 8 practice exams. In the last week, I was able to score above 90% on each of the 8 practice exams. I also read the 500 page Linux Essentials Study Guide from cover to cover. My biggest concern are the "fill in the blank" questions. How detailed are these questions? Do they ask you to enter detailed commands? The high level commands are my biggest weakness. I have recently passed the CompTIAT A+/Net+/Security+, so I am comfortable with the IT cert exam process. Any last minute feedback would be appreciated. Thank you!
One more quick question. I have heard that the multiple choice options for each question are several more than 4 and that on many questions you must choose multiple correct answers. Is this true? Thank you again!
oh wow, I am so happy. I could watch this video on my tv with the normal audio level I usually have. very good work. I am getting warmed up to wgu. other than these certs that you have to go pass. what about other courses? are they structured same I mean are they multiple choice questions? they are one big exam or multiple quizes throughout the course?
Glad to hear that! The other classes have been multiple choice and some have also been papers/essays. I’ve heard of some project based classes as well.
@@DayCyberwox sorry I am not sure it is? so is it just questions or you have to show what you do on a actual linux distro. I guess also what I am asking also how can I practice, I am a intermediate Linux user. Thanks for the feedback
I have a doubt. Exam has 40 questions. How many correct answers should have in order to approve this certification? Thanks in advance for your answer. 😊

Oh yeah 🤣🤙
I love your content, Im going to to finish my ba at WGU because of your content. This LPI video is right on time!! Thanks Day!
You’re welcome!!!
Cleared essentials and az 900 now going for lpic 1 thanks man keep up the good work
im doing the az900 in two weeks how was it?
I used J dion's course and his 6 exams test and failed yesterday (460 points). So my advice is don't rely on him alone to pass the exam with ease
Yep, why I always recommend using multiple resources.
What did you end up using to study and fill in the gaps? Did you take the exam again?
Yes, I took his course too and I didn't feel like really prepared. I'm studying more from other sources before taking the exam.
I took Jason Dion's course and also went through Scott Powers UA-cam. The test was not was I was expecting, and I failed by 50 points.
Yea, I took the exam and got 610 out of 800. Some questions were in the bag, but there were some that I could not get

Have to have experience and degree to get a level 1 job...It's a real shit show out there.
THE DION TRAINING ON UDEMY DOSENT COVER AT ALL! THE TOPICS NEEDED TO KNOW FOR THE EXAM!
Yeah and I don’t get why they don’t state that or why they even offer the class
I just finished taking a Linux Essentials class at my college. I'm going to look into Dion's course. All resources help! Great video!
Im taking this now for WGUs Cloud Computing degree
Me too
Same, but for Computer Science at WGU.

Did you pass?
Yes. I found the exam to be easy.
@@MaxGo777 what was your study plan ?
thanks bro... so good
Hey Day do you have other youtube channel , because i try to follow your trainning course about Wireshark and Malware analyse ?
Yes I have a second channel
hello, today i passed my essentials exam but i dont see any certificate record in my LPI profile, is that normal?

What Linux OS are they using for the Exam? Unbutu,Fedora ?
It’s agnostic.

I also some this also goes into Flatpack
Hi thanks I had a question does doing this certification with az900 do any help in getting service desk L1 jobs
Tbh possibly, however, I’d recommend some hands on projects as well as people networking to supplement this.
Is this is the same as Linux Plus?
No, it is not. Linux essentials is easier.
great video.
Hey, is there a good resources for the LPIC1 ?
can we schedule this exam online ?i have a voucher
Yes you can
Hi, could you tell me how many answers I can fail to pass the exam?
Thanks bro
I have a doubt. Exam has 40 questions. How many correct answers should have in order to approve this certification? Thanks in advance for your answer. 😊
Why not Cybersecurity instead of Network security?
I found more value in one over the other.
Does WGU give you enough info to pass the LPI Linux exam?
I didn’t realize use any of WGU’s resources.
When does 010-160 retire?
Is the exam multiple choice ?
what is the cost for this certification ?
200$
Hi bro, is this hard?, Just curious
Fairly easy.
@@DayCyberwox thanks man
Does LPI learning materials suffice for the exam
Not sure but the materials mentioned in the video are.
1367 Gleichner Route
I want to be able to practice my own homemade lab at home
You’re taking your PearsonVue exam in the bathroom? Lmao 😂
Never thought of that
😂
Oh yeah 🤙
😎😎
I really don't get why WGU has a requirement for this, but offers terrible study material for it.
