I have had many Rangemans in my collection, Kobe, Burton, Black Panther, Military Green, Camouflage Green... in the end after several years, I only have the classic standard color (black with clear display) and this one with yellow details which I find the most beautiful , the display also looks bigger thanks to the clear bezel. It's one of my favorite G-Shocks, beautiful, comfortable and functional, I'd like an original steel version, but I think it will never happen.
I’m looking forward to receiving my watch, it comes with this black yellow variant. I ordered it yesterday through Amazon (our local store in Saudi Arabia); it will arrive tomorrow if not sooner tonight. I got it with very reasonable price about ($ 225) which is worth (850 Saudi Riyals) . This is my first ranger/ mudman g-shock watch; I like the functionality and independence from phones.
The Rangeman is the best combination of GShock features: multiband 6, tough solar, mud resist, and ABC sensors. This could be the last iteration which is a shame because all their new watches are Bluetooth connected semi smart watches which have nice MIP displays but don’t have good battery life and require a phone app. As far as my favorite color on the Rangeman I like the green but with its LCD modded to be positive.
My only disappointment for this Rangeman is the lack of moon phases/moon graph. I would grab that Rangeman as fast as possible before it solds out if it has moon graph.

Have a Samsung Watch 5 Pro and my work just banned smartwatches for some odd reason, so i am considering this one. This seems to be the most advanced watch that isn't "smart", so it should pass.
I have 3 rangemen, the first being probably 10 years old at this point. One has sadly died when the plastic lugs broke; I stepped on it, so mea culpa, but whatever resin they use is next to impossible to glue/epoxy back together. Otherwise they have been nothing but reliable. The GW9200 Riseman wears better and is a bit more understated, but it is long out of production. I'll probably pick one of these up before the "Master of G" line moves entirely above $1000.
The one you’ve linked to is the more expensive jdm version, not the one shown in the video. The jdm version has a carbon fiber reinforced band, and the inside of the band is yellow, not black.
Correct. The one I reviewed in the video is not currently available on Amazon. I would suggest buying from G-Shock directly if you want the one reviewed in the video.
Weird, this watch costs only 20-30€ more than the standard one in Germany. The JDM is about 100€ more. Since the strap costs at least 100€ I am contemplating on getting the JDM. Any opinion by you guys?
