    Another great video. Very happy to see your wife hiking again with you. When your son grows up he will watch these videos and it will be so cherished in his heart.

    I've really enjoyed all of your past videos especially some memorable ones from Colorado and the AAW in CA. You just haven't been fully discovered yet, but I'll come because your stuff is good. You might have to visit all major parks, then your vids would come up more readily in someone's search. Anyways, thanks for taken me along.

    Great video, I regret not going there when I did Mt.W in Aug of 2010 (solo)... 14 yrs later and your video reminded me of every step of the journey! So wonderful to see you, your wife and your son enjoying the outdoors! Hope you have many more adventures.

    It is absolutely beautiful to see you all hiking as a family now, been watching you guys for years and it makes my heart complete to see you with your son. Amazing hike to a beautiful lake. Missing the Sierra, thank you for bringing me back there.

    River worked up hiker hunger on his way up, then chowed down at the lake. Doesn't get better than that.🙂

    Excellent video. I love how you are getting your son involved early. It is good for the family. What memories he will have. Are you trained in photography/videography or did you learn as you go?

    Excuse me, but was that a UFO 🛸 at 00:12 ? 😳

      You have sharp eyes. The first time I watched the vid I didn't notice it, but after you questioned it I went back to 00:12 and saw it, but it was so fast you can't determine what it was. Good catch.

      Sorry fellas, no UFO at 00:12... just your everyday, standard issued battery powered Drone.

    May I ask what gear you are using to carry little River? These moments are so precious.

      I bought a deuter Kid Comfort Active Child Carrier and love it. It’s very comfortable and makes carrying the 22 lbs tolerable ;).

    No snow in June? We had a year in the 70s like that with statewide drought measures taken, but with at least 10 million less people it wasn't as severe. Scot try to do a day hike around Hetch Hetchy Reservoir. The Fall would be a good time as it's only around 4,000 feet and you might see some Fall color on the way up.
    I'll tell you those moments with your children absolutely go by too fast. Then one day your daughter has 4 children that are all teenagers. I'm too young to have g gr gran... little relatives, especially teenaged ones. LOL

      @Sheety33  2 роки тому

      No snow - very scary, isn’t it? We’re already under strict water restrictions in mid June. I need to get back to Hetch Hetchy as it’s been over a decade! Yes 100% true, which is why we need to do as much as we can with our families! :)

    Do you know if this is a trail you can do in mid March? Will there be snow that will prevent you from hiking? Thinking of going there this spring break 2023. Thanks

    How was your baby in the high altitude? Planning to bring my baby too in mt whitney (campground only) but I’m a little worried of the altitude. Thanks

    • @Sheety33
      @Sheety33  2 роки тому

      No issues, just has to be sure he was sucking on his pacifier while driving up the mountain (pop ears). Pediatricians say there is no harm with altitude.
