- After leaving Death Valley, I headed west with no idea where I would stay for the night and randomly discovered Alabama Hills in California. This was by far the best camping spot I stayed at in the USA. And all of that for free!

What a great time of the year to be at Alabama Hills! So much to see in the California desert!
Such beautiful rugged scenery! California had one of the wettest winters on record so you saw the evidence of that fact. Further north of your position, in Mammoth Lakes they had over 50 feet of snow on the ground! Unbelievable. Safe travels.

I stayed in Alabama Hills during my California Road Trip in a car. I loved driving through the open space and having the mountains in sight. It looks sooooo Amazing and I love Californias climate. Hoping to come back on a motorbike before Christmas.
Just saw the back of your bike, that From Australian to Everywhere sticker is hard to miss! You passed us between Eagle Plains and the Arctic Circle. We met at the Arctic circle on the Dempster Highway heading toward Tuktoyaktuk. We had the flat tire on the white pickup truck with the wooden kayaks on top. You took my wife's and my picture at the Arctic Circle sign. Small world! Especially since we are back in Michigan now. Safe Travels!

What a beautiful campground! Chillie just stands there while you're being silly. The 360 makes it seem like you have your own personal film crew. Great video, Kinga. Thanks.

You were in the shadow of Mount Whitney, the tallest peak in the US (lower 48 states). Also, a ton of Hollywood westerns were shot in the Alabama Hills - this was the wild west.

Don’t forget to visit Scotty’s castle. Or ride through Titas canyon, or Cierra, Gordo ghost town.
Lone Pine has a Hostel..Showers are available..I hope you rode up to Whitney Portal..Water Falls, Restaurant,Trout Pond..Cool pleasant break from the heat..Showers are pay ..but you don't have to stay there
That sunset over the mountain reminds me of some of, the ones i had in my travels on my Bike, that praying for food, was that in Comanche dialect? was spot on jajajaja 🦘💐

If these scenic mountains and boulders seem familiar, it's because of Western movies. Nearly every Western movie seems to have been shot here. Hollywood is about 200 miles across those snow-clad mountains to the South-West.

I think highway 395 is one of the prettiest highways in the country. Driven it many times.

I've Moto Camped at Alabama Hills before and done many Riding/Camping Trips to Death Valley. It's an Amazing Place! I wish I knew you were in Vegas. Would have loved to have a chance to meet you and do a ride. Could have shown you some other cool stuff here. Maybe next time. Safe Travels Kinga. Love the Videos!

Hey Kinga, thanx for the great adv you take me on with every episode. I have a question for you though. I ride exactly the same bike and my timing chain is getting worse by the week, I saw the solution that guy had with yours but no one here in South Africa, that I have contacted , knows what the hell I'm talking about. Is there any way I can make contact with him through you perhaps? If not, no worries, I will then just go with my mechanic then. Thank you and be safe.

You never asked , but OMG! Your hair looked GREAT! Even with out a shower for 2 days! My wife has become an ardent follower and asked me a question that I'm sure you have answered in the past, but I forgot, her question was "How far can you travel on a full tank of gas?"
