    you're knocking it out of the park with these videos. You're actually giving relevant information on the stuff I could test myself (but I'm too lazy). Thanks for posting

    I do recommend upgrading to the gel cups.
    I use these as a Range Safety Officer and after wearing them for hours in Florida, the gel cups are definitely a worthwhile upgrade.

    Having a bug with these and not sure what's up. I have them connected to the PTT, then an adapter that goes from the PTT to a uv9r style connector which is plugged into my uv9r pro.
    Whenever someone talks on the radio, I hear them clearly followed by a pop-pop-pop-pop sound. I've tried two different uv9r radios and different antennas and the problem persists.
    I'm pretty sure it's either the headphones or the adapter to convert to the uv9r plug. What do you think?

    Your channel always seems to come up for all the comms stuff I've been looking up. Funny because I'm from the central valley as well but I escaped to Montana after I got out of the military.

    I like the boom mic on the regular m32 over the M32 Mod 4's

    “Whoosh” is just the compressor/noise gate..I’m a recording engineer(ex) and wondered why this wasn’t done Decades ago.. (I even designed some for stage work, but never finished using Guitar peddle Gate/comp circuits and a simple Preamp)..
    Regardless..I trudged through the cadence😉and managed to get some good info(we all take in info differently).
    Thanks for digging, thanks for taking the time..
    Cheers my man..

    I run the HearAngel version of the Comtac 2. The active sound enhancement works as well as the mic, which I just found a PTT that will hook up to my FT-65

    I use the FCS AMPS headset with the FCS V20 PTT. The whole system works great, and the PTT works with radios that need amplified PTTs to use the DMR mode.
    I am going to order a second set in a month or so, and move up to the V60 PTT for dual radios. I'll leave one set on my helmet, and one on the headband for use without a helmet.

    for the PTT, I have done some looking and I think (not confirmed) but disco32 does them as well and a very good price.

    I purchased the M32 based on your recommendation. They arrived today and they are very nice, I'm surprised. The sound amplification seems great, I'm waiting on the PTT but so far, I like them. I've had lots of electronic shooting ear pro, and these seem the nicest. Keep up the series

      @@fspage911 I got the ptt from earmore, on thier website they sell the ptt for the m32 to go into beofeng radios. Read online you have to really force it in the radio but it was so quiet it was useless and no way it's supposed to be that quiet. After that it ended up breaking the radio port connections lol.

    There’s two variables with PTT nato or civilian wired & amplified or non-amplified depending if you have a Dynamic Mic or Electret Mic on the headset. Both must be correct to work!

    @BobBob-il2ku 9 місяців тому +1

    I think your terminology is getting mixed up because earmors is confusing.
    Theres the m32 mod 3 & mod 4 (ie gen 3 & gen 4) then there’s the earmor milpro line with the upgrades & higher price point

    • @KS6DAY
      @KS6DAY  9 місяців тому +2

      I saw the Mod 4 references on Amazon. But checking the EARMOR website, Mod 4 is nowhere and the $89 M32 is just that, no Mod 3 or 4 designators. Looks like the good one is the M32 Mark3 in the Mil Pro line. Getting ready to order that soon. I will clear up all of the confusion in that review video. Still new to this brand. Lots to learn. Many thanks.

      @@KS6DAY as far as I know these ones you reviewed are M32 Mod 4. But there is a difference between Mod 4 and Mark 4, Mark 4 are the MilSpec ones

    • @E4rlyTv
      @E4rlyTv 8 місяців тому

      That's right! Earmore is not very clear about that, but if you purchase a M32 now you will get the mod 4. The mod 3 is the previous revision. And the milpro is the upgraded M32 to mil specs.
      I personally have the m32 mod 3 and overall I'm quite happy. But there had qa problems in the past, so my downlead already broke two times... But it can be fix quite easily.

  • @viewatyourownrisk
    @viewatyourownrisk 9 місяців тому +1

    Your comments about the quality of M32 headsets being suspect is correct for the older versions of the headset.
    Earmor did a revision of the M32, which can be identified by the short battery caps, which is leaps and bounds better than their older versions.

    • @badwolf0099
      @badwolf0099 7 місяців тому +1

      I believe he means "mark3", but he is referring to the wrong headset. The mark3 is an advanced version, costing much more than the one he is reviewing, which is a generation 4 headset. The M32s that you will find currently (01/03/24) being sold by the official Earmor are most likely the gen 3 of this product
