Do you protect your hearing at shows?? YOU SHOULD!
After my show yesterday I definitely am watching this video to figure out which ones to buy my ears are killing me
"I don't like to do bs, I just like to jump into the review" INSTANT, AGGRESSIVE"LIKE" for that, sir
as someone whos always struggled with wanting to go out for music things because of the volume, but also cant wear the silcone triple flange style tips. Im excited to try these
I loved everything about this review. Clear, concise, honest and detailed. SO helpful. I wish everyone was as great at reviewing stuff 👏
Finally a proper review! It's short and gives you the answers you are looking for. Perfect!
I used to use eargasm, even live on stage. But I also had them almost fall out a lot. I’ve since switched to loop and no issues! Even wore them to the eras tour and Yellowcard. Best ever!
As someone who is very sensitive to noise and stimulus, these will be really helpful to me and my anxiety, and that they're stylish that's a huge plus!
I bought those because of my high noise sensitivity, and this is life saving ! I really recommand it, especially the Experience Pro.
(Hope my english is good :p)
😅
Great video! Thx for the review.
amazing review, definitely gonna buy the experience pros after this!!! :)
This is awesome. I’ve never worn ear protection at a live show but you have me thinking that was a mistake.
You might have super-human hearing who knows!
@@OliverJHughes I’m not so sure. 25+ phish shows and countless other concerts, probably should protect what I have left. I do have selective hearing, or that’s what my wife says. 🤣
imo with a device like that i can enjoy live shows even more, everything sounds more clear for me and it is at a enjoyable volume also. I also used eargasm like earplugs till now, i guess ill try out the loops next
Good video, thanks for the review.
Well that settles it. I was trying to decide between Loop, Etymotic, or Eargasm. I ride a motorcycle, but I want to hear traffic and music when I’m riding. Thanks for the review!
How do you like them?
@@corymoncus749 I now own 3 pair. One of each design. I like wearing the acrylic ones while I’m riding. The metal ones are too quiet, but great for yard work or anytime you’d wear regular earplugs. I’m sure they’d be great at concerts too. The fully silicone ones are in my travel bag for sleeping on planes and in hotels.
Reduce your db’z in STYLE. That should totally be their value prop. Always good to see an OH vid!
Good to see you back man!
Thank you - glad to be back!
Guess I’ll give them a shot. Thanks for the video.
This video is spot on. Totally agree. I’ve switched to Loop as well. They are also easier to clean.
Ayy I love seeing these comments as review videos can be skewed, my one question is, what are they like for person to person conversations while at the stage/event
I go to a lot of EDM festivals and I'd like to gift my group of 4 some solid earplugs! 😇
So excited for mine to get here in 2 days 🤗 Thank you for the review.
Hey, do you recommend them?
Bump for recommendation
i have tinnitus and im going to a concert. so i think ill get these instead of eargasm, thanks!
I've used the Pro for multiple shows and concerts and have been great at lowering the environment noise while enjoying the show without any noise quality reduction. My number one go-to for events!

@@EL_Aura Thank you! Just went to a concert with two friends and these helped with having conversations with them during the event. We didn't have to yell at each other to hear and understand what we were saying.
@@laperladelsurpr Heck yes! thank you, I've been trying to get as much input on these as I can, turns out a friend from a town over also got some and he says similar, I appreciate it, just have to do the research before buying four pairs you know?
Absolutely love my Loops I have a pair for shows and a pair for sleep! 10/10 amazing product
Couldn't agree more
Why 2 pair? Are they different?
@Katherine Johnson one is totally silent the other filters out only select noise so I can still hear the concert
Thanks!
Thanks to this review I now realise Ive been wearing them wrong 😮 I had the hoop kind of on the outside of my ear like a pair of ear rings! No wonder they didint work! Will try them again when I can.😅
Ha, they're $45 now as of 4/27/23. Thanks for the great review. Wish I'd seen this when they cost less!
Wow, I think I'm convinced.
You won’t regret it. I even wear mine now when I’m sick of listening to someone talk. Huge help 😂
@@OliverJHughes lmfao - definitely picking up a pair now.
@@OliverJHughes Does that mean they block out most sound rather than filter it? I'd kinda wanna hear my friends at a show when I'm talking to them if imma be honest.
The king is back...
👑
so would you recommend these for drummers?
did these come with a string to connect both plugs?
So funny I just got these and I live in Kansas City MO. Let me guess, you went to The Granada 😂
Unfortunately I have a bit of tinnitus going on now from all those concerts I been to when I was younger. So I just bought some to protect my ears
I have almost the exact kind of ear plugs that this guy is talking about! The only difference is that I don't have the foam pieces that went with his. The earplugs that I use currently work out wonderfully for Sunday teaching services, college events that might be loud or scary, And most importantly, concerts. These earplugs work great for concerts. they protect me And my hearing, and most definitely they keep me from getting scared from the music. I will always have these earplugs by me, and when I get a chance, I'm going to have someone help me put their case onto my keychain, is I will have them attached to my keys from here on out. I got them from Amazon for $19.99, and I don't regret it. Thank you amazon.
Can i use this stuff to protect my ears from extreme sound in movie theater. ?
Do they work for sleeping?
Which one is the most comfortable
Would you mind showing us how to actaully put them in your ears??
I ordered me 3 pairs of experience pros, and didn't get the foam.
Must have stopped giving them
I play live 2x week , always stood away from the band because it was just way too freaking loud. Now, it's just like turning down the stereo. No loss sonically, just levels
Might be too late now but you should contact them? I just got my pros and they definitely had foam in there. I had to take them out to confirm which ones were foam though.
My one question is, what are they like for person to person conversations while performing, unless you sing, can you communicate with bandmates easily and clearly?
I go to a lot of EDM festivals and I'd like to gift my group of 4 some solid earplugs! 😇
Tonight I'm going to Muse, I am very exited to see how my Loops will hold up!! Normal earplugs hurt my ears and feel uncomfortable. These I tried out already and feel a lot better ❤
How'd they hold up??
Hey! How did it go?
They were great and headbang proof!!! They don't alter the music as mutch, they even make it a bit better
Such as rumbling sounds?
Hi can you help me?
I work in an open space office (so I have different people closed to me).
I’d like to consistently reduce both ambient and voices noises to be more focused when carrying out my tasks.
However I wouldn’t like to be completely isolated from everything (for example if a colleague is trying to call me, I’d like to be able to notice it, even if his voice noise is significantly reduced).
So on one hand I want all the noises (of the voices as well) to be hugely reduced but on the other hand I would appreciate if I could be a little aware if someone is calling me.
Is that possible with the loop experience pro (with the mute filter on) for instance? Or the voices are too much high (even with the mute filter on)?
Because if with the loop experience pro the noises of the voices are still too much high, I would be disturbed the same (and in that case I would choose the quiet: I would be very isolated and not able to notice if someone is calling me, it’s true, but at least I would be focused when doing my tasks that it’s the priority for me).
I hope you understood the situation.
Thank you very much in advance for the answer!
THIS THIS THIS SOMEONE ANSWER THIS PLEASE!!!
have you thought about getting a noise cancelling headphone? or maybe check out the soundbrenner Minuendo lossless earplugs.
Loop engage is your choice
I work in a dog kennel and am looking for something low profile, I can wear every day that has noise reduction for the barking. However I still need to be able to hear clients, and my coworkers talking/or calling on a walkie talkie. Would this be a good option?
Definetly!
Do you think I'll need to wear the mute for backroom at my work place or is it good by themselves?
The noises are clanging pallet jacks and people drop wooden pallets, scrap the metal of the jacks on the concrete as they drag them out onto the sales for , loud PA system.
The great thing about the Mute rings, is that they pop in and out in less than 2 seconds, so you can try both options and use which works best for you.
I work at a nightclub, under the speakers the whole night. Do you think this product will allow me to communicate with customers while using them?
Absolutely - and protect your hearing in the process 💪🏻
all right you sold me
Actually it is cheaper to buy it directly from the official site, but thanks for the review.
I just got mine today.
I purchased the Switch 3 in 1
Oliver if I ever go to UMF again I can use these
Yes - I loved having some form at KU basketball games over the years!
@@OliverJHughes yep good at sports venus too....UMF...here in Miami in March...Ultra Music Festival...mostly dance/edm. Attracts the biggest names too - world's best DJs....last time I was there was 2012...the aftermovie is incredible.
@@miamidolphinsfan Oh got it! I assumed it was sports but that sounds incredible!
@@OliverJHughes unfortunately those kind of events I will never attend again
Ok so I don't even know if you're going to see this as the video was posted 4 months ago. But what would you say about wearing them in daily life? Do you still hear people talking? I'm so sensitive and people just talk too loud for me, and being around others make me really tired. I've seen ads for these on IG, but I don't trust the reviews on their website thinking they might be paid...
Hey- I can't help with the first question as I've just received my loops. But the loop experiences are specifically for blocking out background sounds while listening to noises. But they have another line called quiets that are specifically for making ALL noises quieter I believe.
What about shooting range? This works?
Nah, you'd need more robust protection at the shooting range. The muzzle report of modern pistols can be as high as 140dB, and rifles up to 150-160dB. That's potentially 100-1,000 times louder than a rock concert - these will not protect your eardrums enough in that context.
Replace the case though. Literally never had a case that's quite this bad sent to me with a product. Loops are great, the case is about as cheap as it gets.
Are they comfortable to sleep with?
I’d say probably not because of that ring part - I’d say best to sleep with classic foam earplugs
They have the Loop Quiet that is made for sleeping, they are great!
Does anyone know if there are earplugs that can block low frequency?
For a live show I feel like you can’t block the feeling you feel in the chest
I like bass but at concerts it's often boomy and overwhelms the vocals
thank you I hate bullshit!
Bought them and I think I regret it. They barely go in. So shallow.
I have an annoying brother who keeps on talking 24hrs/day sooo it is really hard to concentrate, meditate, study, and even have a quiet time...
Do you think that this earmuffs/earplugs will work??
earmuffs would work better because they block out more noise
@@crypticshadows what earmuffs should I buy? What are the best/recommendable ear muffs should I get that is worth my money...
So sorry if I sound so desperate is that I really wanted to feel relaxed in my own home without me listening to loud musics or the sound of talking by his annoying tone...
@@giselleannebalase860 I’m sorry but I don’t really know.. I don’t have earmuffs although I have noise cancelling headphones. I would suggest looking it up on yt maybe? I’ve been looking for earmuffs too, as i’m going to a kpop concert soon and I have noise triggered migraines. Sorry I can’t help you out more TvT. I understand how hard it is to have so much noise, I have sensory issues too.
Two things! Annoying people/sounds have two solutions. One, simple foam earplugs. Something like the Hearos Xtreme Protection NRR 33. Those are my go to for unplugging or meditating. They’re cheap, toss the pair in the trash when you’re done and have plenty more. However, they’re just turning down the noise by blocking as much sound as possible.
Noise cancelling headphones are another great option, but obviously a lot more expensive. With those you not only block the sound but can also add in music of your choice and you’ll virtually hear nothing in your house. If you’re on a budget, look at the Mixcder E9’s $70 and pretty good. For maximum you’ll need to spend $250-$350 on Sony, Bose, etc.
So to make a long answer short no, this product in the video isn’t for blocking, it’s for protecting your ears while still hearing everything clearly. Not ideal for your annoying brother!
Fit great? They're terrible they deliberately put several large in the packet and all are too big for my ears, and they just so happen to sell smaller ones separately at a markup! Sponsored shill ad maker right here
better than eargasm??? well i dont ufcking know. you said absolutely fucking nothing for 5 minutes
"Tin-eye-tus".. say it with me...
