Just found this recipe and would love to try it. Unfortunately I live in Australia and we don’t have cheddar cheese soup here. Can you substitute some cream of chicken soup for the cheese soup or would it mess up the flavour too much.
I think I am going to make this and add green chili and then top it with bacon instead of bread crumbs omg my mouth is watering I need to go to the store now thanks guys and aunt Lou

just found your channel and am loving it. we got season passes for our local pool/waterpark and it is so nice to come home to a cooked meal. just wanted to let you know I made this the other night and boy was it good. but it was late and we ended up ordering take out because we didn't want to wait on our main dish to cook. so I got this out next day and put it on warm setting. I could tell that it was a bit stiff and was concerned it would dry out. I didnt want to use straight up milk because I felt it would dull the flavor. I had an 8oz container of onion and chive whipped cream cheese... I microwaved it for 30 seconds to make it easier to spread and mixed that into the cheesy noodles. can I tell you how amazing this was! just a suggestion to try in the future. so so so good!

Wow - minus the soup, this is my Grandma's recipe that I never make cause I have to melt the cheese on the stove to make the dish. Now I can eat it more cause I hate taking the time to melt the cheese into the sauce.
Try adding a can of tomato soup with the Velveeta. You'll never go back to making mac without it. My kids used to LOVE it when they were growing up -- and still do!
