OMG.... I just saw a post on facebook about yall cooking sweet potatoes in crockpot, and now I can not stop watching all of your videos!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THEM!!! Thanks so much!! You remind me so much of my son!!!
Looking good my friends! I'm going to make these tomorrow for supper. I have actually, well..kinda make a dish very similar to this, but, with a twist. I cook a 'stuffed' porkchop, that I always simmer in a gravy. I call'em... "stuffed & Smoothered" porkchops. I always smoother them and allow them to cook in the gravy, in a slow cooker. i just brown chops off for some color, both sides, then allow them to cool enough to stuff them with stove-top stuffing (that i prepared on top of regular stove) I just place them in slow cooker after stuffing them stuff , make a gravy similar to yours and cover chops. They turn out fork tender, melt in your mouth, and so good! I bet you'd like them to!
This is also MARVELOUS with cubed pork chops (if you live somewhere that you can get them); just reduce the cook time a bit, because they're pretty thin.
Great video. I love all of your videos and like the emails you send with recipes. I am going to put my pork chops on in a couple of hours. All I have is a jar of chicken gravy so that will work. Keep the videos coming.
I’ve been looking at this recipe the last 2 day now. Late this afternoon I made this dish. It was amazing for such an easy recipe. The family loved it. I’m definitely going to make this again.
Love your videos...very informative, yet fun and certainly entertaining!!! Plus, they actually make me want to cook! These pork chops plus your puddin' spoon corn casserole and green beans...almost too much GoodeNess for one meal....
Wow Big Boy I can't wait to make these I was going to make pork chops tomorrow well today now It's 3:35 am Husband comes home from work today a little later cuz I sent him to the store for cream cheese & scoop chips! He is 79yrs old works 12 hr shifts in a Prison as a Guard he maybe small but the old Man still can handle a Prisoner they have a class every yr for the training & he passes with flying colors! Any how Abt the cream cheese & Scoop chips I used to mix Hormel Chili with no beans & velvetta cheese & melt in in micro wave till soft mix and Scoops it up & eat it! But my Friend & I were talking Abt, Munchies? And She says to me have you ever made Hormel chili w/ no beans & put cream cheese in the microwave & scoop it up with the Scoops are way better ? Did you ever make either 1 is good but going to try the cream cheese 1 this time? Keep on cooking what your Momma taught ya! To do if that's your wife in back ground filming or just talking say hey for me & if Mamma is around 💋 Her for Me cuz I sure do miss mine ! & Her Polish cooking ! You all Enjoy the day ⚘
Jill Sealey, you can. If you have a printer, that is. Scroll up and click on the link beside Recipe. When the recipe comes up, scroll down to where you see the actual recipe. just to the right of it (and below a small picture of it) is a PRINT BUTTON. I thought they were good.
I suggest thawed boneless chops. Frozen would probably work, but you'd want to cook it on low for 6-8 hours I would think, just to make sure the internal temp of the meat gets to 145 degrees as well as gets it tender.
So, upon further research, a.k.a. I asked my wife... There's a couple flaws with using frozen chops: 1. The coating at the beginning of the recipe won't stick well to frozen chops. 2. The FDA frowns upon tossing frozen cuts like pork and chicken in a slow cooker due to food safety concerns (although folks, ourselves included, do it all the time) They don't feel the meats will cook hot enough, fast enough to kill off any bacteria that may be in the meat. Again, I'd go with fresh chops from the butcher.
Actually, the one used in the blog post is this one (referral link) amzn.to/2cMH7wB In the video I prepped the dish using this one (referral link) amzn.to/2cMHdEw And I ate out of this one (My favorite one, the NINJA!!!) (referral link) amzn.to/2cOgM5i

If you use the 10.5 oz. can of broth, are you supposed to dilute it like it says on the can, or use undiluted? (I am using Campbell's condensed)

One is our Crock Pot slow cooker and the other one is our Ninja! Both are awesome in the kitchen!
can I do this with frozen chops or do I need to thaw first?
