Appreciatte for you. Merry Christmas and happy new year. I was 14 years old when Astronaut debut. I song all the songs In the streets with my old friends. Magics moments. Tempus fugit.
A couple of the Austronat 'leftovers, such as the great 'Beautiful Colours" were included in the setlist of their triumpant Wembley original 5 membered comeback gigs but not the great ballad 'Salt in the rainbow" .'Sunrise" has also got an alternative version with the different intro thar i like better.I would have easily excluded 'Bedroom toys" for BC.As for WHT well i've watched them perform this live twice .When this song came in EVERYONE in the stadium was singing the words from start to finnish.A typical great DD song!
I was a shuttle driver for a local VW dealer back when this came out. Many people asked what I was playing in the car and couldn't believe it was a new Duran Duran album. Good times!
Had caught them on the Astronaut tour too on the final week of June 2005 in an open-air venue.Still best gig of my life up to now.Electric concert! And audience was hot and explosive. We had missed them.
@@christianoazzuro6711 Yes exactly. And in 2006 when they came again, I made videos in 1080p resolution. Back then there weren't many cameras with such a resolution.
@@ThanosZachs ha!ha!,OK i was in Terra Vibe too!I was in Athens in June 2005 so i took the chance to watch that gig.Crowd was electric so was the interaction with the fans.I heard it far was over 17,000 people there.I was about about 5 meters from the stage slightly on the leftside.Simon is an explosive frontman btw.And up to now it still is the best gig i've attented with also 2nd runner up an A-ha gig i had seen in London.Cheers.
'What happens tommorow' is one of the best songs they ever recorded imo.Classic DD top notch sound.'Beautiful Colours' too. This could have easily been Astronaut's opening track....that never was.
I had caught the AStronaut tour (summer of 2005).I was 4th-5th row away from the stage slightly left from the center.Around 20,000 people.Up to now the best concert of my life.
I got this album during the year I decided to escape my small town detour in life. I had been stuck in a hellish place for ten yeas due to finances from ages 17 to 26. My future was in jeopardy, pretty much gone considering how far away any dreams were in terms of money, distance, and health. I knew if I remained I would die young. The relevance here is the song STILL BREATHING. "I'm walking out of this town /I'm never going back there /I'm never going back there /I'd burn the place to the ground /I'm never going back there /I'm never going back there again"
I thought it was unfair that Beautiful Colors and other tracks from this CD were not included on the Astronaut album as extra tracks. Beautiful Colors, Salt in the Rainbow, Pretty Ones, Lonely Business, Virus and Tv vs Radio because they are incredible tracks
My top 5 songs off the 'Astronaut' album recordings. Beatiful Colours(sadly non included)/'What happens tommorow'/Finest hour/Want it more/Sunrise/plus Astronaut as a runner up.Also 'Salt in the rainbow" that didn't make it in the album.Such A fine ballad.
My top 3 is definitely What happens tommorow, Finest hour and Still breathing, just as yours! In the past few weeks Finest hour became one of my all time favourites DD track! The chorus gives me goosebumps everytime, such an energetic and powerful song with a strong lyric! Still breathing is beyond words... just wow... made me in tears
LOVE Astronaut…Andy Taylor playing guitar…Blessed to see them live at Wembley Arena that year… "What Happens Tomorrow"…Beautiful…Glitter "Pop Trash" later album
Dom Brown has been with DD longer than Andy or Warren. Having been on the road for many years, Dom is an incredible guitarist and his guitar skills are impressive. Some RCM tracks on guitars or acoustic guitar are cool, like: (Falling Down, Box Full O' Honey, Tricked Out, etc.). But the biggest work I found impressive was in All You Need is Now. Waiting for another post from All You Need is Now ❤❤
Nice to find this. I have the first Deluxe Edition with the CD and the DVD. Cool booklet too. I saw the tour Twice. Once With Andy, once Without. Their show in Nashville, TN opened with a glitch. Reach UP For the Sunrise started playing, and about 10 seconds in, the backing track stopped, and it was only Simon. They restarted a couple minutes later and all went smoothly. Later, in Louisville, KY, I got to meet Nick, Simon, and Roger. SO COOL.
One of my favorite modern day DD albums..Had the opportunity to see the original lineup in Nashville, before Andy left in 2005..One of the best concerts I've attended..Continue prayers for Andy..
Welcome back. Duranies missed your album reviews. My fav tracks on this album are: What Happens Tomorrow, Sunrise, Bedroom Toys, and Still Breathing. What Happens Tomorrow is a great song which I strongly felt deserved plenty of airplay and should have been a hit. It conveys optimism and hope. DD saved the best track on this album for last. In my opinion, Still Breathing is an incredibly moving, stunning , and resonating track. It is one of DD's finest songs ever written and produced. The ending sends shivers up my spine and engenders the same emotional effect as Do You Believe In Shame. Overall, Astronaut is an excellent album.
You can listen to Astronaut Album on a loop and it never gets boring. All Tracks are pure Duran Duran. Simply a perfect album. Thanks Simon, Andy, Roger, Nick and John.
As someone who started listening to Duran in the mid-80s, this album was my most enjoyed since Notorious. I remember someone sneaked me an advance copy burned onto a blank CD a short while before it came out and I listened to it on repeat for months. What Happens Tomorrow is my favourite, and one of my top all-time Duran songs. I also really love Sunrise, Finest Hour, and Roger's drumming on Point of No Return - really nice cymbal work in the chorus. My late husband was a drummer and I still finding myself listening for the little things he used to point out in songs.
I always repeat to my fellow fans that this is my favourite Duran Duran album, and they try to kill me invariably when I say that. But it's true, I don't know if it's due to the particular moment in my life when this album came out (my son was about to be born) but the truth is that it has fantastic songs and it flows better than other more famous albums or those with bigger hits. Ah, almost 20 years later it is now my son's favourite album too!
"Astronaut" was my first Duran Duran album, which I bought for Christmas in 2004 when I was 14. "Sunrise," "Want You More!," and "What Happens Tomorrow" are my favorites, including the demo version of "What Happens Tomorrow." Almost 20 years have passed... can't believe it! I really appreciate your reaction videos. Greetings from Brazil!
I had the pleasure of seeing Duran Duran when Andy came back on their 2004 tour as I was still too young to see them as the Fab Five back in the 80's. It was a very special night in Toronto and they sounded fantastic as always.
Well you MUST do a couple of songs that sadly weren't included on the original release.'Beautiful Colours" was the real buried diamond!I also love 'Silent icy river" b side to 'What happens tommorow" cd single that was also an unedited part of What happens tommorow; live performance in the first leg of the 'Astronaut' tour.
I actually listen more frequently to unreleased tracks from Beautiful Colours, Salt in the Rainbow, Tv vs Radio, Virus, Pretty Ones, Lonely Bussiness. And of course Silent Icy River, which is the B-side of What Happens Tomorrow, I really liked that in the beginning, when the 5 returned in the original lineup, they played in the alternative version. I don't know why they stopped singing along with the bridge "Silent Icy River" this part touches soul, beautiful and emotional.
If I need an emotional pick me up and some elation, I put on this album and it always helps my mood. I absolutely love this album! Very upbeat, lots of feeling, fun, funky and also songs with depth. This album hits so many different levels! Thanks for coming back and reviewing Duran Duran and this album @glitterkitty!
Hey nice to see you back hun,i've sooooo been waiting for you to do this one,it's one of my fave 3 all time Albums and Nick's too "apparently" "Astronaut" being his favourite track.
Actually listening to this right through again reminds me how good this album was. I remember the tour what an energy and entrance to the start of the show .. every song is a 7 or above 👌👌
Thanks for your Christmas gift..it s very welcome..I agree with your review..the only note is the absence of Beautiful Colours in the album..it s a mystery to me.. I Wish you a merry Christmas and happy new year!!
I loved re listening to this one with you and I’d forgotten how many amazing tracks this album has. I come back regularly to listen to some of them but others I’d forgotten how good they were. Loved Finest Hour and Still Breathing is incredible but you are so right about Chains feeling similar to something from Pop Trash, it had vibes of Someone Else Not Me. You’re so cute it doesn’t matter that you covered up the Christmas tree 😘 Take your time with everything and don’t beat yourself up about releasing new videos, they are always great when they come. I am still really looking forward to your Palomino cover though because the snippet you teased sounded beautiful x
The comeback with all 5 of the boys back together was so exciting the tour just bigger and bigger selling out wembly 5 nights the album was fresh with a good mixture chains is my fav haunting tune ❤
Great reaction, as usual! I had sort of written them off after Pop Trash, and my own musical interests had moved in different directions anyway, so the reunion came as a surprise. At first I thought it might have been a move of desperation, but Sunrise with its airiness and optimism won me over - best choice for a return single, even though it's not that representative of the album. After Astronaut DD kind of turned into musical comfort food for me: They won't probably burn up the singles charts anymore, but I can expect to get an album every few years and really, really enjoy about two thirds of that. The rest is usually by no means bad music but meant for someone else not me (ha!). I agree with your choice of standout tracks - What Happens Tomorrow, Still Breathing and especially Finest Hour are as good as anything in their entire catalogue.
So glad you’ve reached this album on the journey. Can’t really sum up how things in life all came together at the same time and this CD was the soundtrack over one summer. Saw four shows on the tour and was fortunate enough to meet the band in St Paul/Minneapolis which was, I believe Nick said, the first show they did after Andy left the tour (due to his father passing or falling ill, I believe?) The best of all the shows was an outdoor show on a perfect night in Pittsburgh where they performed “Still Breathing” live and it was beyond moving. (Every show had a slightly different set list) That song is everything I loved about D2 coming together in one song. Had so many amazing moments that summer meeting other people at the shows who had loved the band for two-plus decades. I’ll never forget it. And Bedroom Toys, for all the silliness, is just a masterpiece of mood and funk. I thought I remembered reading Simon said it was in part about all the modern and digital technology invading our bedrooms. Though, certainly, one could draw other conclusions. 🤭 Great reactions and deep dive, as always! Thank you!
yeah!I had attented their Austronaut tour back in 2005!Fabulous!Shame they left tracks such as 'BEAUTIFUL COLOURS(majestic melodious DD)/SILENT ICY RIVER/and SALT IN THE RAINBOW out of the album as outakes.
These melodies are wonderful relics and should be officially released. Who knows, maybe one day the band will revisit this. Because as the media and marketing are in shambles, I hope that both Reportage and Beautiful Colors are launched and recognized. Fingers crossed and hope it works out ❤
Paul Revere and The Raiders "Hungry" [1966 ] has a similar melody to the opening track, as does John Mellencamp "Paper In Fire" [1987]; both were radio hits in their day.
I bought the cd/DVD set on release date and spontaneously bought a ticket to see the tour in 2005. I think I fan girded too much that night but the concert was great and still a highlight almost 19 years later.. ❤
This is my first video of yours I have watched, and I must say you have great knowledge of music production! Love this reaction, this was a great comeback for the band. Keep doing what you do!
Definitely (Reach Out For) The Sunrise and What Happens Tomorrow are my favorite tracks. Great to see the original band members back together for the first time since 1985. I always appreciate your reviews of our favorite band. Thank you. Happy holidays to you 🎄✨🎁
So nice to see you again! (Sunrise and WHT favorite tracks on this one.) Thanks for the enriching DD content in 2023 and I wish you continued success in 2024. May the coming year bring you even more achievements and prosperity. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 🎄✨
Reach up for the sunrise was a big hit!! Just started watching so not sure if you mentioned it. Andy Taylor had to fly home to England because his dad was ill. I saw the first show when Fom Brown filled in. It was at Magness Arena in Denver, CO. So I never got to see Andy play live but I did see Dom's first show. Pays to know the bands songs as a roadie. ❤❤
This album brought me back to DD.. 'Reach Up For The Sunrise' is used as intro music by CH7 TV show 'Sunrise' its great to hear this lush album once again
Fully agree with more Andy but not just on this album. This is probably why they are even better live as the guitar is louder or just comes through better. Also What happens is not only an album but all time favorite. We agree a lot on this one.
(Typing in 2023) It's hard to believe this album is edging towards being 20 years old!! However, I went to see Duran Duran in Birmingham, England on the Astronaut tour in 2005 ... They played the usual hits, as well as a selection off this very album; they also sneaked into the set a track that no one in the arena had heard of. With an acoustic guitar strapped to his back, Simon Le Bon announced they were going to play a song called 'BEAUTIFUL COLOURS' ... For some bizarre reason, 'Beautiful Colours' has never had an official release; you can obtain it on a bootleg album, alongside songs like 'Salt In The Rainbow', but as of now, it remains officially buried. If you haven't heard 'Beautiful Colours', it's well worth digging out 👌 Merry Chrimble one and all 🌲 xxx
Prepare your earphones, because Red Carpet Massacre was an album that “smell like n’sync spirit”, but with emotional content in his lirycs too. A little complicated in his rythm. But now in 2024, RCM, its a very grand album.
Cheers everyone! This album, meant to be the breakthrough comeback of the fab five, worked as planned, but for just a while. Andy Taylor didn’t fit with the other four guys’ ideas. However, it presented a bunch of great songs - powerfull ones here and there. This reunion was a smash comeback, where everybody felt just great - the band and the fans - but, of course, the energy of the eighties and the nineties was over. The band staged in a more minimalistic way and the outfits changed quite a bit. But the music, with songs like “Taste of Summer”, “What Happens Tomorrow” and “Still Breathing” was maturing. Sadly, they moved on to the Timberlake Kid, which was a shot in the dark that produced an album more from Timberlake then from Duran. Anyway, was great to hear from you and I’m looking forward to the rest of this great travel!
Merry Christmas!!!! I have been watching your videos for some time now and so glad to be more "up to date" with them. Feels like I couldn't tell you how important your videos and spirit means to me and other watching. I love to share the videos too. As for this album, I purchased the CD with the extra DVD and it is terrific to have. After watching this video and deep diving into this album, that didn't know the significance of "Still Breathing." Like you, the emotional songs are the ones that have become my favorites, especially in the later albums, like "What Happens Tomorrow." A song like "The Seventh Stranger" was actually my most played song on UA-cam this year! Check out the video on your own from "As The Lights Go Down." Pleasure to have you in us Duranies lives and enjoy this novel I typed.😄
Glad that you are a duran fan i have been with them from the beginning i was wondering if you are going to check out the Mark Ronson song called Record collection it was sung by simon lebon its a great and fun song so i look forward to your next video thank you and have a good day...
Glitter could you maybe do some reviews of the 80s music Aha spandou Depeche mode May I wish you a happy new year and success in all you do kind regards Ray x
Hi. was a good comeback with the 5 original members. drums & guitar sound simple but good in this album. a like the ambient "keyboard" (nick). andy taylor with one solo was a little sad. warren is my fav guitar. "what happens tomorrow" is my fav song. and one of my top 10 of D.D.
In love with you reactions. Please, can you listen and possibly react to some Talk Talk album (The Colour of Spring my fav one)? I find them a little underrated unfortunately.
Reach up for the Sunrise is actually used as the theme music for the Australian breakfast tv program Sunrise. from Wiki Theme song[edit] Sunrise used Duran Duran's "(Reach Up for The) Sunrise" as its theme song until 2010 when MGMT's "Electric Feel" replaced it. In October 2011, "(Reach Up for The) Sunrise" was reinstated as the theme song. Formerly, it had used a more traditional morning news theme before switching to the song. In the past it has also used the Seven News theme which was based on the John Williams piece "The Mission".
Real Fab Five!
My top five álbum Astronaut 1 What Happens Tomorrow 2 Still Breathing 3 Point of no Return 4 Chains 5 Bedroon Toys DURAN DURAN FOREVER !! RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL
Fun Fact: Indeed, Reach up for the Sunrise was released to radio following a remix being released on the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy soundtrack. I was very upset Virus was not on the American version. Taste the Summer (the most putrid track since Violence of Summer) was in same place as Virus was in Japan. Sadly, they must have all gotten into John's old cocaine stash to not include Beautiful Colours on the album. JMO. Finally, according to Andy, the band overspent their personal cash on unnecessarily lavish studio time. Simon, during an interview, actually said the band delayed the album to play shows due to being down to his wife's last million pounds. And, of course, Nile Rogers was the "sounding board" for the demos with John calling him DD's "George Martin."
100% agree that they were crazy to not include “Beautiful Colours”. I saw them play it live in advance of the album’s release, and had it pegged to have been a single. It should have taken the place of “Bedroom Toys” on the album.
Finest Hour - Listen to the plucky sequenced synth part at the very beginning. Now pop ARENA into your Walkman and fast forward to Seventh Stranger and locate the synth solo. Focus your attention to the sequenced bit in the background. Sound familiar? 😊
I was hoping to like this album a lot more given the fact that it's the OG lineup. Also, Simon's voice/tone sounds so different on most of this album. There's some cool stuff in almost every song. I like the funk guitars, some synth stuff here and there, the bass pretty much everywhere, some of the change ups like in Point of No Return, to name some, but most of the choruses didn't click with me. The only song I like all the way through is Finest Hour. I'd like it more with a natural, or more human, production style. Just personal taste. Still Breathing is freaking nice instrumentally imo, and I like the vocal composition too, but I wish Simon from much earlier albums sang on it, if that makes sense. It would have been perfect. One of Those Days, you thought Nirvana, I thought The Smashing Pumpkins.😁 It's def a clean production. Everything sounds executed with mechanical like precision. I'm not the biggest fan of that now very common style of production personally. Again, appreciate the vid On to Red Carpet Massacre then
The Finest Hour. Agree with your uprising comment. This is classic older Duran Duran lyrics of "love and danger". I found this epic enough to use as the intro to my radio show, years ago. Of all the songs, and Duran Duran songs to choose, it was this one that was strong enough to be "moving". Like Wild Boys and Election Day, The Finest Hour is "Duran Duran Dramatic". Off topic, would be great to select 10 Duran Duran songs and judge them by the strength and purity of Simon LeBon's voice. My #1 pick is A View to a Kill. LeBon at his finest (hour).
Decided to drop the video a little bit earlier as I know you guys have been waiting for a long time for it 🙏🏻

The comeback with all 5 of the boys back together was so exciting the tour just bigger and bigger selling out wembly 5 nights the album was fresh with a good mixture chains is my fav haunting tune ❤
I just recently heard Chains for the first time. It's great.
@@BrianDodl1 hey Brian another haunting Duran song that is stunning is do you belive in shame
Awesome review. 100 percent agree 😊.
So glad you’ve reached this album on the journey. Can’t really sum up how things in life all came together at the same time and this CD was the soundtrack over one summer. Saw four shows on the tour and was fortunate enough to meet the band in St Paul/Minneapolis which was, I believe Nick said, the first show they did after Andy left the tour (due to his father passing or falling ill, I believe?)
The best of all the shows was an outdoor show on a perfect night in Pittsburgh where they performed “Still Breathing” live and it was beyond moving.
Great reactions and deep dive, as always! Thank you!
yeah!I had attented their Austronaut tour back in 2005!Fabulous!Shame they left tracks such as 'BEAUTIFUL COLOURS(majestic melodious DD)/SILENT ICY RIVER/and SALT IN THE RAINBOW out of the album as outakes.
These melodies are wonderful relics and should be officially released. Who knows, maybe one day the band will revisit this. Because as the media and marketing are in shambles, I hope that both Reportage and Beautiful Colors are launched and recognized. Fingers crossed and hope it works out ❤
@@nnunes_vc Agree.I also like the alternate version of 'Sunrise" with the different intro.
@@alexioverdo5225 I think it was "Know it All"

Duran Duran: The band so nice, they named them twice
Paul Revere and The Raiders "Hungry" [1966 ] has a similar melody to the opening track, as does John Mellencamp "Paper In Fire" [1987]; both were radio hits in their day.
I bought the cd/DVD set on release date and spontaneously bought a ticket to see the tour in 2005. I think I fan girded too much that night but the concert was great and still a highlight almost 19 years later.. ❤
Amazing thank you!
Couldn't wait to buy this back then , great fun review as always , great to have u back and happy Christmas from Ireland
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
@@glitterkitty I did,and you too
This is my first video of yours I have watched, and I must say you have great knowledge of music production! Love this reaction, this was a great comeback for the band. Keep doing what you do!
Thank you so much and thank you for watching.
Great reaction to the album well done 👏. Still breathing is a beautiful song a fav of a late friend of mine 😢
Definitely (Reach Out For) The Sunrise and What Happens Tomorrow are my favorite tracks. Great to see the original band members back together for the first time since 1985. I always appreciate your reviews of our favorite band. Thank you. Happy holidays to you 🎄✨🎁
Thank you, happy holidays to you too!
So nice to see you again! (Sunrise and WHT favorite tracks on this one.) Thanks for the enriching DD content in 2023 and I wish you continued success in 2024. May the coming year bring you even more achievements and prosperity. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 🎄✨
My pleasure! Much more to come. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🌹
The song Is Pressure Off that was used for baseball I believe when it came out. It was off the album Paper Gods. Kinda sounds a like
Reach up for the sunrise was a big hit!! ❤❤
I wish you a Happy New Year and the as a song of Duran Duran will be beautiful but deep at the same time.
Happy New Year Eduardo! May it be a good one 🙏🏻
I love the powerful message in The Finest Hour , it gives you the confidence to stand up for what you believe in , instead of being walked over .
Me too, great track!
This album brought me back to DD..
'Reach Up For The Sunrise' is used as intro music by CH7 TV show 'Sunrise'
its great to hear this lush album once again
Was just saying on another thread, I’m pretty sure that’s the channel I’ve heard it on 😂
All the best for the new year 👍 merry Christmas 🎄 from Scotland 🏴 😊
Happy holidays David! All the best
Such a powerful album this is one of my favourites and helped me through some darker moments in my life #DD4eva
If you haven't heard 'Beautiful Colours', it's well worth digging out 👌
Merry Chrimble one and all 🌲 xxx
Hope you had a great holiday Jonathan. I’ll be adding these extra tracks into a separate video. Looking forward to ‘Beautiful Colours’.
Prepare your earphones, because Red Carpet Massacre was an album that “smell like n’sync spirit”, but with emotional content in his lirycs too. A little complicated in his rythm. But now in 2024, RCM, its a very grand album.
Ma top 5 songs from RCM
Box full o honey/She's too much/RCM(love that garage-punky drumming sound)/Falling down/Last man standing.
Thanks for your work ❤ Merry Christmas 🙏
Same to you!
That was a true reaction to "Still Breathing", I saw it
❤Duran Duran ❤
Great video and thanks a lot to rediscover 'Still breathing'. At the point of release it wasn't a favoriete, but after this video it is...
How nice to see you again. A very pleasant album. Astronaut. A tribute to Space Odity by David Bowie.
my fav song on that album was nice Was so andy taylor mixed with keyboard & drum
Anyway, was great to hear from you and I’m looking forward to the rest of this great travel!
happy holidaze!!
glitterkitty!!!!!!!!!!!
And to you too!
much love to the fullest!!@@glitterkitty
Reading messages like this really make me smile. Thank you so much and it means a lot to me that you and many others enjoy the series 🤗
Glad that you are a duran fan i have been with them from the beginning i was wondering if you are going to check out the Mark Ronson song called Record collection it was sung by simon lebon its a great and fun song so i look forward to your next video thank you and have a good day...
Thanks for the recommendation Shawn. Will definitely have to add it to my list!
Kitty I think you should choose 10 of your fav Duran songs and put them on one album what would be your number one!
My all time favorite Duran Duran album partially because my daughter Madison was born in 2004.
Commenting from my other and original UA-cam account. This is my favorite album
Merry Christmas Glitterkitty
Merry Christmas to you too!
I love ur DD album reviews ❤️ I wish ur outfit was more like Astronaut cover lol sorry not to be critical 🙏
Yo provengo de un hogar abusivo y la última canción también me llega al alma
Kitty, I love the way you open your heart in every song. Is not just the music, is your soul in every track.
In love with you reactions. Please, can you listen and possibly react to some Talk Talk album (The Colour of Spring my fav one)? I find them a little underrated unfortunately.
Still breathing and Finest hour are my fav tracks from this album.
You´re so beautiful and your reactions are so spot on
Reach up for the Sunrise is actually used as the theme music for the Australian breakfast tv program Sunrise. from Wiki Theme song[edit]
Sunrise used Duran Duran's "(Reach Up for The) Sunrise" as its theme song until 2010 when MGMT's "Electric Feel" replaced it. In October 2011, "(Reach Up for The) Sunrise" was reinstated as the theme song.
Formerly, it had used a more traditional morning news theme before switching to the song. In the past it has also used the Seven News theme which was based on the John Williams piece "The Mission".
That’s where I’ve heard it 😆
Andy didn't leave the band, but the band did 🙏
Disco lights at 12:06
After "All you Need is Now," "Astronaut" is DD's best outing of the 21st century
Real Fab Five!
My top five álbum Astronaut
1 What Happens Tomorrow
2 Still Breathing
3 Point of no Return
4 Chains
5 Bedroon Toys
DURAN DURAN FOREVER !! RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL
Echt cool, die Glitterkitty. !!!
Nice 😉
Why the fuck don’t people love the bouncy gorgeousness of Violence of Summer. It’s perfection!
I think this is Duran Durans best album
Finest Hour - Listen to the plucky sequenced synth part at the very beginning.
Now pop ARENA into your Walkman and fast forward to Seventh Stranger and locate the synth solo. Focus your attention to the sequenced bit in the background. Sound familiar? 😊
Thanks for the suggestion!
Can you please make a review on Arena :)
I will!
*Correcting myself here: When I said a few songs, I think I only remember one or two 😂
I was hoping to like this album a lot more given the fact that it's the OG lineup.
One of Those Days, you thought Nirvana, I thought The Smashing Pumpkins.😁
It's def a clean production. Everything sounds executed with mechanical like precision. I'm not the biggest fan of that now very common style of production personally.
Again, appreciate the vid
On to Red Carpet Massacre then
The Finest Hour.
Thanks for the idea, definitely something to consider as a vocalist. Glad you also enjoy Finest Hour.
sounds very andy driven If remember rio its all based on andy nick blend; which was awkward
Such a shame Beautiful Colours didn't make the album. A wonderful track.
Agree,absolutely.
Nice Top Three....
