Ooh isn't he mean! So lovely and well-spoken!
You know, I can never get over his lovely voice! to me he has a Brilliant Voice. and his hair! Love It! he was sooooo CUTE back then .( love the Charater and at the end where he said 'yes' and keeped talking, i just died!). Colin Baker remids me so much of me! and he still is a nice bloke and whoever he ended up with is so lucky!
I saw this serie in the Netherlands as an 18 year.old...i always rememberred it for its great acting...the tension between them was unbelievable..Colin Baker played here the type of banker we only got to know in the 80s..ahead of his time..this still could be a success if they broadcast it again!
Wow he's so young.
Woooow. He's......WOOOOW.
He looks handsome and suave
Thanks for posting this, it's interresting to see Colin before he was the Doctor.
Excellent acting from COLIN BAKER .This was a great series always watched it on Sunday night .Have DVDs on it now .Great to see the cars at that time .👍
It's a blast from the past all right. MGB-GT's, XJ6's and a Reliant Scimitar pops up. Not to overlook the trucks; Bedford, Seddon-Atkinson, Leyland etc
My god, he beautiful!
HOLY CRAP, HE'S SO YOUNG.
Have you guys seen him as Commander Maxill in Arc of Infinity? Seriously... Amazing.
The series producer even told him to tone it down because he was overshadowing Peter.
@@DarksaberForce It helped Colin win the role of the Doctor. The event that sealed the deal was when he and John Nathan Turner went to the wedding of a woman on the staff. Colin's charisma at that wedding, on top of his performance as Maxil, convinced John that he was the perfect choice for the Doctor. And John was right. Colin could have been a formidable contender for the title of Greatest Doctor Of All Time. The problem was that shitstains like Michael Grade were deliberately sabotaging the show.
He was 32. The same age I am right now.
OK, I'm afraid I just can't believe that. I'm 25 and I have a baby face. And I look older than Colin does here. Seriously, he was 32? And fans ridiculed Matt for looking so young.
He looks 19 here
Didn't smoke or anything
Is it weird that I find him really cute in this
Linda Squidge girl, you are not the only one lol.
Soo Handsome :)
He’s not only young but he is the doctor
good series
Baby Colin cutiepie
Wonderful
@Berrypoint Yep, the D.W. heads REALLY should have gone with the black velvet suit like Colin suggested, BUT NNOOO, they wanted the "explosion in a rainbow factory" suit as it is called. I take comfort in that "Real Time" and most Big Finish episodes the 6th Doctor has a LOVELY blue suit instead.
@@peterschofield1553 his doctor was brilliant and so were his scripts for that matter. Its time for this parroted rubbish to end.
He looks handsome here Colin
He always said he was lucky to get such a part, A character played by Murray Hayne was going to have a bigger role but he quit opening the door for Colin Baker to come to the fore
CUTE
wow1 he's actually being subtle...i like him as over actor but this is interesting, he should have worn that suit as the dr...i think he should been dr who in the 70's
Yeah man, check out his age on google, and this was in 1975. He's 32. I look about the same age as him here and i'm 32. I always get asked for I.D at clubs.
Why are his eyelashes so luscious?
Did I spot Gwyneth Powell of Mrs McClusky fame sitting on Colin's right just as the clip ended?
Afraid not, it is Carole Mowlam, she played the part of Clare Miller 1975-76.
Good grief, how old was he in this? 12?
AtarahDerek 32
Sonata Dusk shes the only one in Gemini
He's so tiny! Like, almost David Tennant slim. What happened?
Megan Howarth life. Life slapped him so hard, it gave him a beard and blond curly hair.
@@jonathan_q_arbuckle1976 His hair was only dyed blond in DW
Actually seems like a very good actor pity his Doctor was written so badly
I remember him being interviewed in a documentary series about 1970's TV which included an episode devoted to The Brothers (which was a hugely popular Sunday night show in the mid-1970's and a great favourite of my family). He admitted that he nailed the odious Paul Merroney's character to the extent that devoted fans of the show would stop him in the street and hurl verbal abuse at him, also winding down their car window at traffic lights, yelling at him and telling him exactly where to go! The character's introduction really shook up the story line, and he was one of those characters that you just loved to hate! Incidentally, Talking Pictures TV in the UK is currently showing "The Brothers" on Thursday evenings at 8pm, but we are only on the first season, so still some way off Merroney's introduction.
