Just watched your tutorial playlist yesterday and now bingewatching your disney princess series. I really enjoy your tutorials, they are so easy to follow, and how you showcase not only the final illustration but also your process in your videos.
+ArtByKarenEHaley OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH! it really means a lot coming from you hehe! Love your videos and art (especially the Ariel and Pokemon which helped me tons)
I really love how you would still buy things that are like really cheap (e.g $1) and you don't judge it from the price of it! I love all of your videos. I am currently practicing drawing and I hope to be like you one day!
I love your art so much! I find videos like these really helpful because I'm also from Melbourne, so I know that most of this will be readily available for me, thank you for doing what you do, you're so incredibly talented :-) x
I just went to a daiso store for the first time in one of my recent trips to melbourne and I got one of the brush pens and I love it sooo much, not that i've been able to use it in an artwork yet due to injury..
at 3:26, how'd you get that perfect square look? it looks like you got a translucent post it because it's not streaky (if you did you a marker to color
Mine too 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀🙃😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂😆😆😆😆😆😆😇😆😆😆😆😆🙃🙃😀😀😀😬😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😬😬😬😬😬😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😃😄😃😄😄😄😄😊😉😇😇😆😆😬😬😁😂😂😉😉😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😆😬😬😁😁😁😁😁😁😂😂☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️ But I have never actually used them Someday I will someday...........
Do you know that my admiration for u is unlimited ? You're the only artist I know that use really affordable materials but made super duper gorgeous and awesome arts 😍
A good white liner/detail pen would be the Sakura Gelly Roll in white. They sell many colors of these pens and all are great for detailing, but the white is my favorite =:^.^:=
alright so you mentioned your current brush pen and mentioned that you wish it wasn't a felt nib. I have the Pentel bush pen, and it's awesome. It's got a bristle nib, and replaceable ink cartridges. I love all of the line variation you can get from it too.
I will have to try the Mont Marte Watercolor paper. I also use a lot of water for various effects and Strathmore isn't working too well for me. Thanks for sharing.
Art with Lillendandie I have made the experience that the best watercolour paper is the kind that is glued down on all four sides and only has a corner to lift. Alternatively two opposite sides also work, but the reason is that this kind of stretches the paper in some way, while paper that is just glued down on one side wrinkles and curls the most. I use lots and lots of water, sometimes almost drowning the paper in it and my favourite pad barely moves at all. Even if it does bulge up a little when wet, it lays down flat when drying.
+Zyra Bañez is the black cover moleskine good quality and thick? Because I literally just ordered it from amazon but i ordered the 5x8.25 (the sideways one) because i planned on buying it for a week now. I love your illustrations and im a filipino too :)
Bianca Romero it's good quality (in my opinion) but it's not thick paper unless you actually buy the moleskine that has thick (mixed media) paper, though I don't know the proper name of that kind of sketchbook
+Ava Mohtashemi they have various sizes yes and various types of paper. I have the normal paper which isn't recommended for paint, but I use it anyway. They do have mixed media paper which is the one for paints.. not sure if they have sizes specifically for travelers notebooks, but I know some people still use them for their Midori
+yhearts12 I can't find them locally for now, and they become a bit expensive if I buy them online (with shipping and all), but if I do, yeah I'm yet to try them out
oh nice supplies~ yeah the Pilot pens are pretty much some of most affordable pens you can find here xD although, have yet to find sumi ink or the brush pen at our local Daiso. but maybe because our branch is pretty small.
Whenever I watercolour, I'd like to draw with a fineliner first but the water and the paint smudge all the lines and I haven't found a working (not smudging) fineliner yet. Do you know a brand of fineliners that won't smudge?
+Zyra Bañez thaank you! I will be sure to be on the look out 😁. Anyways keep up the good job! I too am a Filipina and I can't tell you how much I feel proud of you without even knowing you hahaha. Stay strong girl 💋
Try the Uni-Ball Signo Angelic (Its really fine) or the Uni-Ball Signo Broad (little thicker). Or the Pentel one. I bought the Pentel one because I was unable to find the Uni-Ball one in stores, so I had to get it. I was very hesitant since I haven't heard much of it, so I only got one. Its just as good as the Uni-Ball one and costs less were I live. I live in Germany. The Uni-Ball one costs about 3€, whilst the Pentel one only costs 1,30€ at this shop called "Mueller". So I'm saving more than half the price! (I'm a cheapo lol).
I like the bigger(more paged) sketchbooks since I sketch or doodle a lot daily and do about five colored drawings a week. I'm very impatient so most of my work is black and white. That's why I hate the thin, 50 page sketchbooks lol
Hey the moleskin notebooks, can you draw on the covers? I know you said the cover was paper but would it be good to customize on if you get bored of looking at it?
do the pentel mechanical pencils ever break? cos if it lasts you only need one and then just keep buying lead, but its made out of plastic so i dunno if it would last . . .
I actually have the same pencil and i think its really great. the plastic barrel is strong and it has a unique shape to it but over all its really nice to sketch with because it has a comfortable grip when you sketch with it and it keeps the lead strong because of the straight metal tip :)

Love the daiso brush pen barrel but can't find it anywhere online! So pretty!
Did you know? There are new copic ciao colours! Woo! ;)
You're really good at drawing, not just "good" but like reaaly good, great!
+MyLife That sounds so tempting to buy more Copic colours, but in reality I don't actually use all the colours I have >_< and thank you so much! ^_^"
I just went to a daiso store for the first time in one of my recent trips to melbourne and I got one of the brush pens and I love it sooo much, not that i've been able to use it in an artwork yet due to injury..
+Tait Rochelle I hope you get better soon! And enjoy using the brush pen! :D :D
Nice video, I'm gonna try some of those materials, like the watercolor brush. Love u!

at 3:26, how'd you get that perfect square look? it looks like you got a translucent post it because it's not streaky (if you did you a marker to color
How did you make a pencil extension?
You should use uni-ball signo white ink pen! 😊
COPICS ARE LIFE AND LOVE!
Mine too

But I have never actually used them
Someday I will someday...........
Haha, I feel you on the Pentel waterbrush. It's just so convenient!
+Char Villena yaaaaassssssss
If you ever drop a g-tec on the floor though... bye pen
+Madhu T tbh, the nib gets easily curved too so idk what she means by the nib being sturdy
+Puggy Craft Yeah XD
Do you know that my admiration for u is unlimited ? You're the only artist I know that use really affordable materials but made super duper gorgeous and awesome arts 😍
Really enjoyed this video!
Little info so you'll know for the future, cahier is pronounced cayeh :)
in french it's moleskine cahier too
I love your channel ❤️
+Sakuems yep! I'll keep that in mind next time :)
i love this video! it's so much fun to see the materials other artists use :)
+The Art Journey Thank you so much! And yeah you're right! I love watching these kinds of videos from other fellow artists too :D
A good white liner/detail pen would be the Sakura Gelly Roll in white. They sell many colors of these pens and all are great for detailing, but the white is my favorite =:^.^:=
Its so cool that you have them, now use em
Wow! I'm a new subscriber here and I love your drawings so much!!!
I would love to see a video showing us all your art sketchbook/your artwork.
+BookReview I'll have a sketchbook video soon :)
alright so you mentioned your current brush pen and mentioned that you wish it wasn't a felt nib. I have the Pentel bush pen, and it's awesome. It's got a bristle nib, and replaceable ink cartridges. I love all of the line variation you can get from it too.
+Avery M-G yep I plan to purchase it, but it might be too thick for my preference.. I haven't checked yet if they have different nib sizes
For fineliner with white i recomend you to try the UNI Posca. Its excelent!
yaaaaas! love your videos btw. keep doing them bc they inspire me
+Fiona Andersen thank you so much! :D :D
I love your videos. You're amazing!
+Lucía GC thank you so much!
I've broken so many micron pens it's frustrating, gotta try that pilot pen
I hate the 0.1 prismacolor inking pens because they get damaged easily.
Don’t you just love the people that feel the need to correct you ?
nice one and I love all of your sketchbooks collection :)
+Mayumi Sora thank you so much :)
IF you need some white fine liner, try getting white ink or whiteout
whiteout tends to turn yellow after a while, but I haven't tried white liquid ink yet, so I'll give that a go :)
Holy shit, I have a Pilot G-Tec, too! They sell them at the local stationery shop (I'm from the UK)
I love the ink from Daiso. They are very good quality.
hey zyra, when are you going to film your next video?
Can you film a video every weak please??
Is there a video on making the pencil extender? :3
i cant get over how you pronounce millimeter
Mileeeeeeemeters
Same
Ahh same
"Hatech"
I will have to try the Mont Marte Watercolor paper. I also use a lot of water for various effects and Strathmore isn't working too well for me. Thanks for sharing.
Art with Lillendandie I have made the experience that the best watercolour paper is the kind that is glued down on all four sides and only has a corner to lift.

Ahh thanks for this video * ^*
Can I asked u if the Daiso ink (the bottle) is waterproof and how you made your pencil extender >///
+sakuraxls2 The Daiso ink is not waterproof unfortunately.. and the pencil extender is made out of rolled paper
Thank you >7
Can you please make a video on how to make the pencil extender?
+Bea Gabrielle D. Alea I definitely will :)
Have you ever tried to use the quill paper for watercolour? How does it hold up?
most of the stuff she said she couldn't find are still in websites including amazon or Ebay! thanks for some good supplies i can use!
and also +Zyra Banez is the moleskine cahier thick?
+Bianca Romero it's like 40 sheets/80 pages of thin paper so it's not thick in my opinion
+Zyra Bañez oh okay thank you!
The moleskine's withold some paint?
Do they have various sizes. I am looking for inserts for my travelers notebooks.
+Ava Mohtashemi they have various sizes yes and various types of paper. I have the normal paper which isn't recommended for paint, but I use it anyway. They do have mixed media paper which is the one for paints.. not sure if they have sizes specifically for travelers notebooks, but I know some people still use them for their Midori
did you trie the Kelly roll white for a white liner
I use Quill Board too, cuz i live in Australia, but officeworks keeps running out! UGH!!!
Oh my goodness! You sound exactly like Selena Gomez! :O By the way, you're incredibly talented. Don't ever stop sketching.
What would you say are the best crayons to use for skin tone and hair which are blendable?
You should try gelly roll pens they have tons of colour including white
+yhearts12 I can't find them locally for now, and they become a bit expensive if I buy them online (with shipping and all), but if I do, yeah I'm yet to try them out
They have some at Michael's, if you live in the usa or Canada. And if you use the coupon (40%-50% off) they could go to as low as $1.50 CAD
How do you keep your charcoal sketches from smudging the opposite page?
+Danielle Dear They actually do smudge onto the next page which is why I don't always draw on the both sides of the sheet x)
oh nice supplies~
yeah the Pilot pens are pretty much some of most affordable pens you can find here xD
although, have yet to find sumi ink or the brush pen at our local Daiso. but maybe because our branch is pretty small.
+Mari Akutsu Thanks! And I had to scavenge different Diaso branches in the city to find some brush pens and ink because some stores don't sell them xD
Is the daisos sumi ink waterproof and copicproof?
Whenever I watercolour, I'd like to draw with a fineliner first but the water and the paint smudge all the lines and I haven't found a working (not smudging) fineliner yet. Do you know a brand of fineliners that won't smudge?
You can always use a coloured pencil to lay down your line work, then paint, then use a fine liner. That's what works for me. :)
+Femke Meijboom I do the same as MissAtomic.. but Deleter NeoPiko is waterproof and so is the Copic Multiliner
Femke Meijboom sakura microns are waterproof. Uni pin fine liners also.
You're so good I love you're work
+Sparkling-icetea thank you thank you XD
Can you please make a video about you doing a lineart? I really like the way yours appear and I like the way you explain stuff ☺️☺️
+Grimmie Jaegerjaquez I'm planning on doing a tutorial on that actually, but I still don't know how to actually approach that tutorial.. >_
+Zyra Bañez thaank you! I will be sure to be on the look out 😁. Anyways keep up the good job! I too am a Filipina and I can't tell you how much I feel proud of you without even knowing you hahaha. Stay strong girl 💋
Hey Zyra!! I follow you last 2 year and i love you so so much. Can you make a video using black paper and white pen
Thank you for sharing this video!
Where did u get ur brush pen?
+Eli Salinas Daiso
i love everything you have ❤
Me too
I WANT IT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I'm saving more than half the price! (I'm a cheapo lol).
I had the daiso brush oen and i LOVE IT I HAVE 2 its so grrat for line art
is it possible for you to do a tutorial on how to make one of those pencil extenders?
+Its_ Saty_Bitch I will in the future
What colors are those copic ciaos?
How did you buy the moleskine sketchpad? Cuzzzzz im a filipino😂😜
I got it form National Bookstore
So youre a filipina?😱
Rachelle Anne De Jesus yep :)
😱😱 wait... Where did you buy the Copics you used in coloring with copics?
Rachelle Anne De Jesus i got them from ebay
I like the bigger(more paged) sketchbooks since I sketch or doodle a lot daily and do about five colored drawings a week. I'm very impatient so most of my work is black and white. That's why I hate the thin, 50 page sketchbooks lol
amazing!😍
cahier means exercise book (i think) and is pronounced ca-yeh. Its french btw.
You're right :) We translate it as notebook !
+Kuchenmensch147 cool! and yeah I was a bit unsure how that was pronounced
It means notebook
it actually means notebook
Cahier means book in French
What Camera you use?
Will you make a video of your sketches?
+Rachel Jones yep! I'll be posting the video soon! :D
Hey the moleskin notebooks, can you draw on the covers? I know you said the cover was paper but would it be good to customize on if you get bored of looking at it?
+Jordan Kelley Yeah! I've seen other artists do them, so you can draw on them :)
do the pentel mechanical pencils ever break? cos if it lasts you only need one and then just keep buying lead, but its made out of plastic so i dunno if it would last . . .
I actually have the same pencil and i think its really great. the plastic barrel is strong and it has a unique shape to it but over all its really nice to sketch with because it has a comfortable grip when you sketch with it and it keeps the lead strong because of the straight metal tip :)
+Sunny Monroe yeah I've had mine for years.. so I replace the lead
Why sin't she no longer posting?Whyyyy
This video is great eee 💕
Great video!! Can you show your sketchbooks, please?
+Анна Тернавская Soon :)
I actually expected that your using expensive stuff's (except for the copic markers) but no wiw :3
Did you go to the Philippines?
Have you tried the uniball white gel pen? IT'S SO OPAQUE AND AFFORDABLE.
+Gaby Kodokuna I have actually.. it's the one I've been using, but I don't like it since the ones I've used doesn't seem to dry opaque..
+Zyra Bañez Oh seriously? It just seems like one of those basic things artist seem to rave about silently. Sorry. GREAT ARTWORK NONETHELESS!
