I'm a huge art supplies person. Literally. I always spend at least an hour at the stationary section in stores because I just love stationary. But the problem is that my parents won't let me get any, and I don't have an allowance/job either. They think art is a waste of time, and refuse to buy me any supplies :( but doesn't matter, I still love it lmao
The same here. I have been obsessed with stationary, accessories like cutie pens or notebooks. Everything unique in the category attracts me. Now I'm obsessed with art supplies but I'm still under 18 and don't have too much money

+Haruhi Chan Yes! Art supplies can be expensive! But usually everything lasts for a long time, so it is kinda an investment too! I still have some acrylic paints I got 8 years ago! haha and they are still in good condition!

Art erasers are also really great for lifting graphite, for example if you overshade by accident and want to lighten it, or if you are trying to achieve different values with your graphite ^-^

OMG you are sooo lucky to have these things at your art store. i mean i have always been wanting the any kind of white pen and masking fluid but my art stores dont have it and online stores dont ship here

Yes nice video Well done and nice haul....Dont compare the student grade cottmans with your other paints, I had them as a starter set and they were great but now I prefer the better paints. Winsor and newton have a proffesional line but watch some of the paints a couple of their colors are a bit so so. Also try out some Faber Castel pastel sticks they can be purchased open stock and they will give you more joy then those cheaper ones. You will notice the difference I know I did. Have fun.

Hey Mako here's a tip, another use you can give to the pastels is to use them like watercolors, you just have to paint with the pastels and then you take a wet brush and draw whatever you want to. Luv ya😊😘✌

Hi, I’ve nerver tryed hahnmüle-paper. Here in Sweden we have canson, montval and some more I like them both. And windsor and Newton colors.

Nice haul. What do you think about Winsor Newton so far. This is the only brand I've ever used. I would like to branch out a bit. I hope everything worked out and is enjoyable and you are getting some good results. Thanks for sharing.

I use the same kind of watercolor but the brand Dawler Rowley for my free hand class. I loved the pastels though. I study interior design

+makoccino I know, but I really like how some of the paint turned out when you tested it..
wow, winsor & newton watercolor in my place is very expensive. It similiar with van gogh watercolor. Both of them are expensve. Many artist choose Sakura Koi Watercolor than two of them, but the watercolor also good enough to use in many drawing. Try that one!

+Julia Chhiv Of course! I'm currently planning out some videos about things like that!
My tip would be to start with a coloring book, rip pages and paint them, that way you don't need to worry about having inspiration, then, if and when it comes you'll have something right next to you to create whatever you thought of, that's my way of getting out of the blank page, because I stress too much about inspiration
