I wasn't actually looking for this page it found me and I actually love it so much I am going to give it a try! It's painty papers I was after as I haven't any as yet. I am not naturally crafty or artistic but your artwork has become compulsive viewing for me. You are a brilliant tutor thank you so very much for waking up my inner crafting ability. Sending love to you all.
I really like this distressed technique taking the colour off. I’m glad you shaded around the profile - helped it ‘come off the page’ without just jumping out. Quite an interesting page. Thanks! 🍁🌼💜✨
Noit, I owe you a debt of gratitude for inspiring me to try art. I love it so much despite my lack of talent and truly it is you who inspired me to try so many things I had never thought I could do. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Shalom Noit! It's beautiful! You make me laugh everytime you talk about things not being 'perfect' and you say "I really don't care"! Perfection takes the fun out of it! I love watching you! ~Ana xo
What a beautiful page! Noit, your art work is so unique and beautiful! You could easily sell them as digital copies on Esty! They are so much more unique than the current trend of reusing art work from the 1800s or early 1900s that no longer have copy rights. Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely LOVE this !tried your quilt method this morning.....as it was the first time ,I used scraps of watercoloured paper,n simple materials but still.it looks nice!thk.u.cant wait to try this method too. Here too,in India, before,we used to.use acetone n.now NP Remover!Thk.u for teaching.us!
This is a fun technique. I use a product called Citrasolv to create this look. I spray or sprinkle it on and it does the work for you, no rubbing. For me the best results come from using National Geographic mags, it’s the ink that is used to print them that makes it work. I treat all the pages that I want to use first, let dry and then apply to my page. Sometimes I use a spray top coat on the pages to keep the ink from running when I glue them down if I don’t want that look.
Noit, I tried this technique on some magazines but the acetone (100%) did not remove anything on ANY magazine I tried. What kind of magazine will work? Or should I use some other solution?
Very pretty pages. Love the removal technique. Such great texture! Love the orange butterflies, too.
Thank you Susan

That's great
Acetone is flammable as well as smelly.
try using other nail polish remover
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Donna
I’ve not tried it, but I wonder whether turpentine might work as well as the Citrasolve…?
Maybe

Try nail polish remover. I'm sorry it was a long time ago, so I don't remember the magazines I have used.
I don't have any polish remover...sigh. Wonder if rubbing alcohol would work? I'm off to experiment!!
Good luck
@@NoitArt Dag nabbit... Didn't work. So, next trip to village will see if can find polish remover.
