I apologize, I'm in contact with streamyard, the video processing has had glitches but I want this discussion in the world. I'll do better. This isn't acceptable. Update: Santana signed Naylor Traded Buehler signed More now than ever this deal was smoke and the mariners even more pathetic.
No doubt it's been really nice for Castillo and his numbers pitching at such a nice pitchers park. At the same time it's been really nice for Casas hitting at the number 2 ranked hitters park in the league. Would his bat play at T-Mobile? It's a long list of players that go to T-Mobile and find out how tough it is and put up by far their worst career numbers. If a trade actually happened my money would be on Castillo having a better season for the Sox than Casas does for the M's.
Good point-it’s definitely a question mark. Casas only played one game at T-Mobile, going 0-for-3 with a walk. But in the top 10 pitcher-friendly parks, he’s 3-for-11 with 3 homers, rocking a .273 average and a solid 1.091 slugging percentage. Shows he’s got some pop in tough spots!
@TwitchingHour If he did come to T-Mobile I'm sure he would be okay on HR's. There were like 9 ballparks last season that were worse for HR's, but it's hits in the gap that I think he would really suffer. T-Mobile was dead last in the league for doubles, and Casas is sloooowwww. But with Buehler signing with the Sox it's probably not anything that would happen anymore anyway.
Sadly, Santana is no longer available. He signed with the Guardians for 1 year/$12m. It wasn’t for lack of effort though per Ken Rosenthal, “The Seattle Mariners, Santana’s team in 2022, sought to reunite with him virtually the entire offseason, and were pushing for a resolution..”
@TwitchingHour yeah, this was recorded and posted a day before the deal. It was 100% due to a cheap ownership. Only $16m to spend and Santana got a $12m offer. That males zero sense for the Mariners front office.
It seems that teams players and the agent Scott boras are backing themselves into a corner and shooting themselves in the foot 👣👣 why put MLB in a situation that would detrimental to the agents and that would be detrimental to the players
If we're talking about making this trade work, it'd have to be a big combo. Mariners get: Casas, Yoshida, Rafaela, Slaten, Crawford Sox get: Castillo, Celesten, Locklear, Peete, Thornton, Haniger The Mariners get 20 million in salary relief and fills holes they need. The Sox get a very good prospect package with Castillo to be their #2. It just depends if Boston's front office values restocking the farm after Crochet. Celesten, Peete, and Locklear definitely do that.
@TouchingBasesPod How much more do you think? Morales or Garcia? I was just thinking Haniger would help balance Yoshida's contract. If you subtract Haniger and Yoshida, I don't think that deal is crazy without those two.
Are you kidding me? The Sox gave Rafaella a six-year extension. He's their JBJ 2.0. No way they want Haniger. And they are not trading five solid, full-time players in any deal. Nice try.
@@martinbressette4207 JBJ🤣🤣🤣 Y'all are delusional to believe that's irreplaceable. A 2.5 WAR player that will soon be a utility player on that roster. Y'all are hysterical.

They are probably still salty about the Heatcliffe Slocumb trade 😂
Don’t watch this video if u are epileptic lmao
@coolbreeze4249 Yes I'm sorry about that. It's a corrupt file I tried to salvage.
CAN'T MADE A TRADE?
@@DerekDominoes typo?
😂😂😂
The Mariners would only make the trade if they were essentially trading Luis Castillo for Pete Alonso. That trade would be more than worth it.
They would need to lock in Pete first and from reports now, they were offering yoshoda and Casas. Boston wants to clear yoshida.
you’re not getting casas
@@haydukethor That was established
We don't want Casas!!😂
@NicholasDonskyDonsky I also agree. But options are pretty scarce.
