This may be one of the more odd compliments you’ve ever received- I am a 55-year-old rural country woman in Idaho USA. Fashion has never been important to me almost at all. I randomly came across your videos and, (even though I still am not all that concerned with my own personal fashion), I find your energy and passion for your life and interest in fashion to be uniquely engaging, inspirational, and a positive force for humanity. Thank you Trinny, I grew up watching you and Susanna on telly and those are my earliest memories of fashion. That show set off my love affair with clothes, decades later you continue being an inspiration! :)
I live on a rural island in Western Canada with a permanent population of about 3000. And these are a practical bunch, outdoor enthusiasts etc. Very socially proactive. Lovely, lovely people. But they don't dress up. I have always loved clothes and when I first moved here about 20 years ago I had a little studio all set up with my sewing machine where I made and sold clothing. I'm 45 now and after having two boys and gaining 40 pounds I had lost touch with fashion. But you have inspired me and I am having so much fun! Thank you so much. I wholeheartedly agree with the woman from Idaho and her lovely words about you!!! I could not say it better.
I’m rewatching all the closet confessions and this one is by far my favourite. The looks are so cool and Trinny’s skin looks amazing.

Dear Trinny, I love how you marry color analysis with body type analysis and give out the images..so bang on ...outstanding..enjoying the closet confession series thoroughly..just a few ideas that may entice your mercury mind : episodes on only tints, tones, shades, and pure hues, a whole circle of the color wheel with your outstanding inputs would be a delectable watch to your fans, some more on: pastels, neutrals, metallic, basically all the colors of the rainbow, although few are already covered...a series on essences like: hippie, boho, chic, classic, elegant, modern, earthy..I am in awe how you manage too get this much done...thanks for shining your light..👍❤️

Don’t know I’ve ever considered wearing a sequined-garment but if I buy any I will give you credit! It really does seem to work!
Boots and shoes, when to wear long boots, when to wear short boots
I'd wear long boots during fall and winter. Short boots all year long. During the summer with dresses or tight jeans and during the cold with pants.

@@alexdalton4535 everyone's been wearing doc marten and dresses for summer at least here in LA, but it depends if you consider docs the typical boot lol.

I really have a hard time mixning black and white. I don’t like the mix. I love all black, I love all white, but the mix does not work aesthetically for me in some way. If I wear a black dress with a white blouse I feel like a vicar 😂. It only works for me when I watch my dear magpies outside my house. But I see it as a challenge to make the black & white to work. 🙂 LOVE your interpretation of Freddy Mercury by the way! 👍👏😘

Trinny I really love your amazing styles. The use of color, texture, sequins, glam, fabric, etc. etc. Can you do a wardrobe all in "earth tones"? I am so fascinated with moss, eggplant, ochres, charcoals, deep rich colors that are reminiscent of the fall season in a colder climate. Also, I have been inspired by your coats and how you introduce them into so many fashionable outfits, so creative !!!

I loved all theh options in this. Black and white are such staples that we can all muster something up. Trinny, you look amazing and you absolutely know what suits you as well. I have really been inspired by lots of things you have said but a few in particular have stuck. I have gone for more higher necks in clothes and it really lifts it and also about the relationship between individual garments in an outfit. Anything you do will be brilliant but how about lilac and shoes!!

I admit to laughing when you said everyone has black in their wardrobe - I have not got one black item, not even black shoes. I love these Closet Confession videos! So great to find inspiration.
I love to be minimal and have a small collection of clothes than can carry me through the season. But then I always worry I look plain or boring because I limit the number of pieces I have. For example, I would own classic black sunglasses that I could use for multiple occasions. I wouldn't buy those daisy sunnies because I wouldnt see them as practical, but they look so fun! and it makes me feel like I might be missing out....
