I‘m in my 40s and what I noticed is that most of Young women do Not step out of their comfort zone on behalf of fashion, so the most exciting item of their styling is their body. But most of the time they‘re hiding their figure. Older women have usually a way more versatile and exciting warderobe! Thank you Trinny!🤩
I‘m 37, middle school teacher. My students all only wear jeans, T-shirts and trainers in neutral colours and bully me because I like pattern and colourful midi skirts. They sadly have no fantasy and creativity at all. 😢
I get you. When I see ladies like Trinny and Carla, I truly get excited, because it's not about size, or all those trends. It's about wearing what gives you joy! Joy in the wardrobe, and joy to the people who come in contact with you. That is is what I'm learning from them, and loving it!
@@DUCKYRICHY 😁Yes, exactly. My mom taught me that same unfettered joy about style. It wasn't about drawing attention 👁👁 to yourself〰️it was strictly self-expression. It was something I fully embraced in my youth.
Growing up, we also couldn't afford the latest hot 🔥 brands. We needed to be strategic & creative about our purchases🛒. 🪡My mom was a talented seamstress & tailor too, so that helped. Being an original required that you had the determination to drive in your own lane 🚘 instead of being a slave to some popular peers.
🥺Unfortunately, I allowed some disastrous circumstances & cynical individuals to steal my joy. Thankfully, exceptional influencers like Trinny & Carla Rockmore have helped restore my passion for fashion & joie de vivre. 🕊Blessings!

I’m hiding my figure as a young woman because I don’t want to attract the male gaze and catcallers. I only dress up when I’m with my husband because I feel unsafe otherwise, not for lack of creativity.

I would love to see Trinny talk about how to style outfits when you are wearing your glasses! I find glasses kind of constraining - what to do with accessories, color etc. Also how to look cool and not old. Ideas?!

So much black - who‘d have thunk it? I never realised how much work these videos are until you had a freshly styled head of hair after the experiment with that astonishing wig. But you made the black go away as creatively and elegantly as always.
Trinny, you just prooved how much we've missed you. Obviously I'm a Suze protege but I loved yr style too. Promise, if we ever lockdown again during a pandemic, you will do a show and perk us up the way you just have. Challenge us at home to go through our wardrobes and re-learn discovering our a) wardrobe b) shoes c) playing d) accessorising e) joy of different styles on our bodies. I know yr used to being a clotheshorse, but we need to relearn that skill. I wanted to also say, Hi from Australia. Wow! I greatly appreciate you stopping to show how/why/when something won't work: dress lengths and paint waists. It's those problems us lay people don't see until it's pointed out! So helpful! I would know something was wrong with an outfit, but couldn't exactly see why. Your tutorials have changed my life. Instead of abandoning a look (I never could pull off the oversized blazer look that's *still* trending!). Now I see it might be simply making sure the shoulders are strong and the pants (best to be billowy I suspect) hit at the right point. Game changers...
