With a focus on blue this week, Trinny combines different tones with clashing colours such as peach and magenta to prove that blue doesn’t always have to be a wardrobe safety net. Darker shades of blue are a more reserved choice if you are attempting to branch away from wearing black and navy is the best option as it subtly nods to colour while remaining smart and chic. As always, a Zara feature undergoes some typical Trinny DIY and transforms from a simple smock to a striking shirt that pairs wonderfully well with Lip2Cheek in Pia.
As blue is such a flattering colour, red lips are the go-to makeup combination. Dabbing on Lip Love in Dalia on lips and cheeks when wearing rich royal blues or swiping on Lip Love in Sacha with warm powder blues will soften the palette whilst adding the more striking Lip Luxe in Demon will brighten up any navy outfit. The key to wearing blue is to find your most complementary shade and shop within that family as this will work wonders in your wardrobe...

Absolutely love it when Trinny does colours in clothes. She goes into more detail than any other fashion consultant or stylist. @Owi Owi I think it's called a balance . Being a vegan doesn't necessarily mean you aint going to have no health effects because that isn't true. It's a choice . What isn't Contaminated nowadays! From food veg, meat , water, cleaning products, even down to the soil. Nothing is 100%

Hello, while you wait for Trinny to answer or do a video about it, I can tell you that yes, navy can be tricky when changing hair colour. It can quickly become a colour that ages anyone. That makes it trickier with age as well, as the rules would also change. I don't know your skin tone, eyes, etc, so I can't tell specifically for you, you definitely have to experiment with shades. For the time being, generally, it's easier to keep the colour further from your face. You can still wear navy trousers with a lighter coloured top or have some other colours break the navy that's close to your face. I hope that helps 🌞

Oooo yes please jeans and top, I must have 30 different Breton tops that I wear I would love to get out of those damn stripes and wear something else with jeans but I'm quite top-heavy! And I would love you to cover shoes! Also would you be a darling and take into account that many of us don't have the joy of living in a fashion conscious metropolis down here in the darkest depths of Cornwall stripey tops and comfy shoes tend to be my default I would love to be a bit more stylish
