"Not into Scania".... YOU DRIVE ONE! LOL 😅😅😂😂 It truly is your epic masterpiece, Teri. I chuckle because 2 months ago, you were so cross and frustrated.... you asked me if I wanted it! Perseverance paid off for you. It is brilliant. The travel box looks made for that truck.
Just because I drive one doesn't mean I'm into them. It wouldn't be my first choice if I had a choice. 🙂 This was a truck I didn't want to build, but I did, and it's turned out perfect 👍 On to the next project 😁
Hi how have u found the steerin a m8 mine has 2 servos 1 were gear servo for steerin n 1 were should b for back steerin n when lifted he turns that off so it don’t turn till down nice job looks good 👍👍👍
@davidhazelden4985 The real trucks lift axle still steers when it's lifted, I'm using a standard Futaba S-U300 servo, and it does the job very well. The steer servo is in the stock location on the side, and the gear servo is mounted to the transmission case... absolutely no issues with steering at all.. Keep it simple.
Hi Teri great build! watched them all, I have just bought the Tamiya Scania R620 Highline and just hate the mirrors on mine wire and plastic! i looked up the tamiya site and seen the sprue they are attached to (Part sprue U on the 770 kit ) but the fitting is completely different (Blast!!) the door window on both kits is different from yours, dunno whether to go ahead and try this or what.. both door windows are retained by one mirror frame and two nuts securing them.. means I have to drill two holes for the 770 mirrors... what'd you think? any information would be very helpful thanks David
@davidcurrie8564 You can buy the proper mirrors for the R620, and I agree, they look much better than the kit ones. Just look at what's available because there's some Chinese crap out there that are way too small. I'd search for Verkerk mirrors. fechtner-modellbau.de/en/Verkerk-Scania-mirror-set-suitable-for-Tamiya-R470-and-R620/12995

@@TeriWilde cheers Teri! nice job on the 770 S very nice! getting a wee bit green with envy here
Hello Teri Can I ask were you got the black Ali plates in front and behind the 5th wheel.
it's not ali, it's actually ABS Plastic Diamond Plate by Plasticard, it's just been painted gloss black.
