I arrived at exactly 9am, we started to get the roadway out at 9.10 and it was down by 9:27... excellent improvement and well worth the hard work by the 7 of us that went in on a day off to get it laid out.

the skate park has been a part of the scenery for a couple of years now, we just relocated it to an empty area where we used to park the trucks, the truck park is now located at the end of the layout.

I wish we even had that here... and it would HAVE to be indoors and air conditioned.
Today's high was 121°!!!! 🔥 🥵 (51°C?)
There were some other sweet looking rigs there as well.
My Granddaughter went home 2 days ago, and I needed something to cheer me up.

it was 30°c (86°F) here, which is quite hot for us in the UK, no A/C but a small breeze blowing through with the doors open. Everyone had a great time.
Next time, my Scania 8x4 will be there and I'm determined to get a photo of it with the other 4 that were there.

@TeriWilde You'll have that picture! You're in the home stretch, right? 86° still isn't comfortable indoors, but at least you had a breeze.
I found a biannual truck meet..... in Van Nys, California....
550 miles away!! 😫😫😫 But at least closer than Europe or UK.
