Very nice result! To improve performance and reduce noise, avoid mixing multiple BSDFs and instead mix the various textures before plugging them into a single BSDF output. For even better performance, bake the shader elements into a set of textures. (This will use more video memory but it should render much faster)
Great points. If this was my project I definitely would have done those things. But that would have made it exponentially more difficult to explain. I'll cover those topics eventually
hey i know this video is almost 3 years old now but any way you could make this blend file downloadable, the video was a little difficult to follow and i cant seem to figure out why im not getting anywhere near the final results . thank !
I got that one Ipaq. Got it for $50. But the battery doesn't work anymore. You'll have to work plugged to the power cord. Everything else is fully functional. Are you planning to also get an SD generation 1? Very useful to expand the inner memory.
I wasn't planning on upgrading the memory if I didn't need to just for some quick blender videos, but maybe... textures and stuff can eat space quickly.
That was my thread! Thanks a lot for the help !
Edit: in my pc the reference wasnt so bright. I Think its the screen of your pc

Well that's a delicious render!
Instructions unclear, ate phone.
@@gregblendsmakes9348 I think you got plenty of Iron in your diet after doing that. 🤣

2:46 wait you bought some of them without showing them in the video?
Nah, I said "I'd have to buy some"
@@gregblendsmakes9348 nvm i got it wrong. awesome video anyway.
How do you add a overlay node?
can i buy this material node group from you?
no custom theme for 1.0? 😆
Would if I could!
You made this tutorial so complicated by going back and forth, a simple node photo and quick explaination wouldve been far better and shorter
