Pazu is so sweet. So glad he is feeling better and back with the business. Thanks for your education on this subject. My family has been really sick lately and fingers crossed the ferrets have not gotten sick. I started the journey of raw feeding today and my older ferret is taking to it right away as she has had raw meat before but my 5 month old jumped to eating a little bit right out of the dish and surprized me.😁👍 I am hoping he keeps it up and I can get them transitioned to full raw instead of the bad kibble they have had. You are an inspiration to me! I am very lucky to have found a whole grind pet food store sort of close to me. Love your channel and all your content! Can't wait to see the next video. 🙂 Ferret Love🐾💜
Aww poor little guy. He really loves you and I can tell by the way he lets you feed him. poor baby. Can you please give us the recipe for that "soup" it really can come in handy if my fuzz babies get sick
This video gave me something to consider...have an extra cage or backup room just incase you need to quarantine one of your sweet fuzzies so they can recover and not spread the sickies.
Aww Pazu hope you feel better my Loki just got over a upper respiratory /cold but he never lost his appetite or was sluggish and still was playful My vet had suggested using a humidifier in the room and it seemed to help him breath better and along with his meds and plenty of blankets to snuggle in he was doing much better also the weather has been crazy too some days are very cold then its like 55° on other days which can change the environment in the house so I just made sure he was always covered at night his vet bill was $160.00
Years ago, I had two ferrets that got an upper respiratory infection. Unfortunately it had gotten worse quickly. They wouldn't eat and I fed them chicken broth through a dropper. I put small heat pad in their cage. And I was doing everything I could. But it just wasn't enough... They sadly passed away. This is why it's so important to have an Emergency Fund when you have any pet. Being a responsible pet parent is super important.

Hey I just wanted to say that I love your vids and I am going to get 2 ferrets when I'm older and I think you give really good advice.
My ferret chip is sneezing and coughing and just wanting to burry herself in my pillow and blanket
OK I'm aware this is an older video but hun ferrets have sensitive respiratory systems and are allergic to things made from trees.... pine litter, cedar etc. Pls switch out their litter for recycled paper pellets! I'm sure you'll notice a lot less respiratory issues. Keep up the great content with your lovely fuzzies!!! 💕

To save the meat you need to put it on the fridge so do we have to give them cold food or we cook it
Were those meds at the end from the VET or store? My ferret has been wheezing and sneezing so those two meds might help. Thank you.

I gave carnivore care to my my ferret beanie as she was sick I wanted her to get well quit as my other ferrets rosco and bosco wanted to play with her ago I gave it to her and she sniffed it looked at me and fell asleep

I need help. My ferret is around seven years old and recently my whole house was sick, and he lost a lot of weight during the time and him eating is becoming a problem. We will be going to the vet in a few minutes. Super worried.

No, only use that in an emergency situation. Plain water is more than enough:)
How do you house them together when they all have to be in a cage for some reason since he’s sick?
Mya May they are never locked in the cage nowadays. So it works out for us. We just kept the other 3 out of the cage and Pazu would be put away when we would leave the house.

I have a questionnnnn!!! SO not very related to this BUTTTTT what do you do with your ferrets when you leave for a trip and can't take them with you? Thats's one of the biggest things holding me back from getting ferrets. Hope you can answer!!
You can make a close friend take care of them or go to a local ferret shelter that boards ferrets maybe even a local exotic vet

Khya Worley you need to follow the steps to transition to raw. Feeding just liver is not balanced and will throw your baby off...check out my mentoring program on my website!
Can I just put the medication in the food?
not recommended, it doesn't taste very good so they won't eat it. Has to be a quick administration.

So your ferret eats raw meat?? What kind?? I've heard of some people giving theirs a raw egg but my ferrett won't eat anything that isn't his pellet food. I read a guide once that said your ferret will only eat meat, but it said I should find some type of produce to give to it. Well I've tried several things, but the only one he liked and will eat is little pieces of watermelon
You should NOT be giving your ferret fruits or vegetables at all! Ferrets are obligate carnivores and their bodies are not made for digesting fruits, vegetables, grains, etc. You can look at some of her other raw feeding videos and also look at her Instagram as well. She had some good information on her blog as well.
What’s the vet bill bc I want one but I don’t want the vet bill to be expensive and the medicine?
These are exotic animals. Its going to be more expensive with an exotic compared to a dog or cat vet visit. 3 years ago I paid about $75 just for a sick visit not including the fecal culture, waste exposal fee ($13+) and 14 days worth of antibiotic, probiotic and medication for diarrhea along with single use free dosing syringes (without needle to give meds). In total I pad about $300 for it. Plus the symptoms didn't clear up after meds were gone so I was given them all for 2 more weeks and had to pay once again about $150 for that. There was barely any sleep for me and I kept him in a playpen in the living room and slept on the couch to keep a close eye on him until he was making more solid stools, had energy back and ate his regular food on normal intervals all by himself along with drinking on his own without any coaxing from me at all. (He came out of playpen but when sleeping I kept him in there with everything from his cage so he didn't get diarrhea or puke all over carpets and it was an easier clean and disinfect. If you want a less expensive vet cost don't get an exotic animal. Not trying to be rude or mean, just brutally honest with cost and care.... theyre tiny and can take a bad turn very fast.

Nope! No pastes or supplements.

Can I take my ferret swimming in my pool and the give her a bath.I just got her last weekend and she loves to try to swim in her wter
they cannot be put in a pool. too many chemicals and it's too deep. kiddie pools are different. baths should not be given to a ferret
