- Just a little test of Mohrta's intro level using jorisvddonk's CRT Shader for GZDoom- along with some adjustments to resolution scale and setting it to 4:3, I think it looks kinda cool... mostly just me screwing around though haha.
Not a fully developed feature yet, but if somehow I were to make a button that could toggle this feature on (off by default) I think it would be a fun little feature
We're hard at work on Mohrta, but things are coming along very smoothly. Expect a video showing off some progress in late July!
On another note, does anyone know how to make 2k footage scaled down to 1080 not look like poop? I use OBS but the footage just never comes out right, it looks fantastic when i'm playing but the video.... downgrades it by a large margin
Lemme repeat: this is just a test for fun/ a "what-if", the game will not look like this- if I do anything else with the shader, it will be an optional feature turned off by default
Maybe, activate it in some dungeon only or in specific area.

The footstep sound is peeeeerfect.

I'm not entirely sure about the shader but maybe that's because of the 4:3 format. Maybe I should test it myself someday before I judge. An on/off button would be great.
p.s. I really enjoy the sound design. I also hope there will be an extra OST.
The shader itself is looking cool, but I think it's not very suitable for this kind of "Medieval" setting!... 😅

I’ve never been a fan of CRT filters. If I want that experience I’ll play the game on an actual CRT monitor. CRT scanlines and a round vignette on a modern widescreen flat monitor just do not make for an authentic old game experience. Also, I feel like the sound effects are just too crisp and modern sounding to convey the aesthetic well but maybe I’m just too picky. That being said, these words are coming from a Scumhead fan.
