- This video is about a Magnaflow catback (#15155) being installed on a 2018 Ford Focus ST. I previously had a Roush catback installed, which had way too much drone for my liking. I went back to stock for a while but felt like i needed to hear something besides the fake engine sounds from the sound symposer. There is very little out there on the Magnaflow catback, but I took a chance and gave it a try. Based on my previous experience with their catbacks, I felt like it would be what I was looking for. So far I love it but there will be a review in the future once I get more seat time with it.

The drive-by videos are great for hearing what it sounds like under load and in more realistic situations.
I think that this is the best exhaust on the market. No drone while driving, a relatively quiet idle, and only makes noise when you really get on it. Perfect. Thanks again!
Trevor Suarez I don’t have a ton of experience with other exhausts on this platform, but this is an excellent exhaust all around. Quiet while cruising and it gets plenty loud when you are on it

Did you received your muffler? Cause they canceled my ordered. To good too be true. Lol
No when they sent the tracking number, it said the package weight was 9 lbs (which the exhaust is 40) and they had shipping going to another state. I contacted the seller and they cancelled the order and refunded me. Hey it was a crazy deal that I figured was too good to be true, but I decided to chance it.

How is the sound on the inside?
The sound was perfect. No drone whatsoever. I will say that this exhaust sounded a lot better with a downpipe. I had a cpe catted downpipe and it was perfection with the Magnaflow.
Did a gasket come with your kit? I just got this and there was no gasket with the kit
It was a long time ago when we installed it. Can’t remember for sure if a gasket came with it, but I am thinking that it didn’t. I changed my gasket when I put the downpipe on.

I will film a review soon. The only downside to that review is that I added a catted downpipe pretty quickly after this install. It did change some of the exhaust characteristics, but not much. So my review will be based mostly on the full exhaust setup

Was it an easy install?
Christopher Granados as long as you have access to a sawzall then it is very easy. The first exhaust I installed, all I had was a hacksaw and cut the stock exhaust by hand. That was terrible. Sawzall takes 1 minute to make that cut. Everything else is straight bolt on so it is simple.
@@jonathanbutler7853 did you manage to install the black rubber that comes with the exhaust?
On mine, the tails (one on the exhaust and the other under the car) were to close so we did not install it and we had to cut the tail on the exhaust!
