Spent a little more time getting creative with this one. Let me know if you like this style of video, it was a ton of fun to produce.
Did a great job my guy! Keep up the good work!
I like this a lot better than a list video done over generic b roll.
Really cool! Like the style and different subject that no one is thinking about…until they have too.
Absolutely!
Keep on Mr Spite 🤘💀
Years ago when I lived in an apartment, I had an alarm on my bike. I was sitting 3 stories up in my living room when I heard my alarm in the underground parking. I ran downstairs and there was my bike, a screwdriver stuck in the ignition and a toolbox full of tools beside it. The thief was not expecting an alarm! It scared the crap out of him and he ran off leaving about $1000 worth of tools behind. I still have those tools 😀
That's awesome. I am definitely adding a vibration sensor alarm but I even had this idea... to have another vibration sensor on the inside of the cover itself. This way just the act of uncovering the bike would set off an alarm.
Granted, I'd have to find a spot that isn't moved around much by the wind and find a setting that isn't too sensitive.
@@Vynzent Or hook the cover to the disc lock. They start moving the cover but it’s snagged on the disc lock alarm
@@jsollowsphotography That sounds perfect
We both know it wasnt $1000 worth of tools, he probably left the screw driver and maybe a socket set lol. but good job!
Oh, yeah, we believe you... Tell us more...
Great job on this one: very well produced, and very entertaining. I got serious F9 vibes from it, and that's definitely a compliment :)
Cant wait for the F9+Spite collab.
Funny you say that! I woke up to the notification and thought it was for fortnine.
Even the SC logo looks similar to the F9 logo. Not the worst inspiration Spite could find honestly 😅
Opening sequence is definitely F9- inspired : )
I was literally going to post the same comment! Very nice! Production quality bump!
I caught someone trying to steal my bike earlier this year. He didn't like it too well when he almost got shot. You know that criminals are less likely to reoffend after being shot
good to know
Almost got shot?
@@obeii1805 No. Almost got sold into slavery
Caught someone in my garden looking through my stuff they didn’t like it when I told them to take there bag off and looked to see if they have any valuables 😂
Fantastic production. The quality reminds me of Fortnine, but with your own unique style, delivery, humor, etc. Definitely a thumbs up.
even the logo lol, very similar but a little twist
this is the ultimate win for me because now i basically have a duplicate of my favorite channel!!
I agree. I instantly thought fortnine inspired. I also think fortnine is one of the best if not the best motorcycle content on UA-cam. If spite carries on this way hell be right up there!
Cameras and 2A… I know UA-cam is against this view, but it won’t leave the parking area.

Best protection against thieves is good insurance. Everything else is wasted money.
Unfortunately in my city we have a lot of professional thieves that do in fact pick up your bike and throw in in the back of a vehicle. That's why it's more important to get theft insurance.
Great video, Spite. It's a bummer that thieves in Austin are so bold. Up here in Canada in my locked garage my bike is pretty safe, eh. But the benefit of your experience is much appreciated.
It hurts me that the cover you used is the exact same cover that was on my CRF300L when they stole it. They cut that front strap and just picked it up and took it. I didn’t have a tracker on it.
One thing I’d add to the video: beware of your surroundings. People are watching you come and go on your bike. If it’s under a cover, someone nearby is probably the one who stole it. The thieves who stole my CRF moved over two bikes to get to mine. They knew what it was.
1) Piece together plumbing supplies and an upwardly shaped explosive charge.
2) Place underneath your bike seat.
3) Wire circuit to your bike's antitamper alarm.
4) Spooky profit
It’s all about layers. Like cake.
I like to have an anchor or something to chain my bike to. A chain around my swingarm or frame. I have an AirTag hidden. I have a GPS hidden. And a secondary GPS hidden. I also use a disc lock with an alarm. I also use a bike cover.
But to be honest, parking in light won’t do much. Steering locks are good. Disc locks are good. But you can steal a bike with skateboards. But it’s definitely going to help.
Also, adding a camera with motion activation can be good. It’ll send notifications when someone is coming by your bike. And potentially get a glimpse of who did it.
New to motorcycle and I live in nyc. Your video helps me so much! Thank you 🙏🏾
I’m getting some Fortnine vibes from this. I like the cinematography on this one!
Also thanks for the info, I’ll be sure to grab a few things for my bike
I think I heard of a guy down the street in the complex I used to live in. After 2 bikes stolen, he chose a different route. Apparently he was an electrician. He got a couple of capacitors from air conditioners. The wire around the bottom of his cover was metal and uninsulated... ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Yep. Somebody effed around and found out too!!! Last I heard he still has that bike.
Fantastic cinematography and styling. Fan ode to fortnine quality with the attitude of Spite
Love, love, LOVE the intro. I feel like I say this every video, but keep up the great work!
Nice change-up with the creativity and editing style for this video, made the watch really entertaining! Keep up the good work Spite :)
One suggestion I would’ve liked would be to take the extra 10-15 mins to get statistics on the # of motorcycle thefts in Houston or the US (46,467 in 2020) or something for that initial VO over the city footage . Gives context on the issue while still introducing the topic. ( although maybe this is played out and I’m wrong and lame 🤔)
I’ve used the Xena lock before. As good as it was it also liked to randomly sound off, which was super annoying with its loud alarm.
Good job on the production man, enjoyed it. On the substance note - i would like to know more about things you can bolt in ground so no one can lift the bike.
Haha nice one! Motorcycles also get stolen often here in The Netherlands. Being transported over borders or in garages/sheds and won't be seen again. Some are found back but also a lot ain't. It's what you said as well, if they want the bike bad enough they will get it whatever you have for anti theft methods. Of course we have insurance, but not all levels of insurance cover up theft costs and some companies insist you at least have 1 or more high graded anti theft method on your bike. If they'll find out you didn't use it, and your bike gets stolen you might not get the insurance to pay out.
Rainwater had ruined my fancy alarm disc lock in less than a year, as far as I can remember. Bought another brand and lost it. Bought a very cheap Aliexpress one made of Zamac or something and it lasted just a few months. I don't intend to buy another alarm lock again.
I like this style. A little more F9 in presentation. I like the idea of adding videos like this in the rotation.
That is a one impressive video. I really like how it's done, great idea, great work, that is some quality! This is getting closer to F9 videos now :D
Fantastic video. Love the cinematography. Also good advice. For those using disk locks also make sure they aren't easy to pick/rake.
Your videos are better than when you was at YN! Well done Spite glad to see you cutting your own path. Take care
The production value and vibes 🤌
I really enjoyed everything about this one, and learned a ton!
One of my friends had his show Harley stolen. He was in a resturant eating. People going in and out, no one said a thing to the people stealing it. The security cam showed 3 guys back a truck up , load his chained bike, then drive away.
Great video, one more thing I would suggest to prevent theft. Purchase a bike cover with lock loops in the bottom so you can lock the cover over the bike. That way a possible thief has to commit to cutting a lock before they've even decided if the bike underneath is worth it.
Thought this was a F9 vid, excellent production value.
You're the best Spite. Thank you Dawg
I now use GPS tags, i like the disc lock screamer. Gonna invest in a few of those. Great video, but wish you added how got bike back on dumb luck. TY
Love the skit type content a gps cover alarm and disk brake makes apartment living a little easier
Glad my bike has a hidden kill switch
I doubt anyone has ever tried to steal my bike, but here's my setup:
#1 The bike came with a built-on fork lock that prevents you from steering.
#2 I cover it with a tarpaulin and use two locks to secure both ends of the tarp, you have to cut the locks or cut the tarp to get it off.
#3 I run a heavy duty chain through the back wheel and around a column and lock it.
So a thief has to remove at least #3 if they have a vehicle transporting OR everything if they planned to hotwire.
DISC LOCK WITH ALARM IS CLUTCH
"Is your -family- motorbike missing? Think about it."
Great video! Was giving me Fortnine vibes. Love it.
This is very good, keep up the good work :)
nice one spite....youve moved up to my 2nd go-to for motorcycle info, second only to ryan fortnine.
Late comment but, I found that disc locks can be smashed with a brick, as some little assholes did just that but didn't get away as the alarm has notified me to run outside just in time. Use a cover,
T H I C C ass chain, and an alarmed lock at the very least. Also use a tracker and place a Dummy tracker under the seat to fool the would be thieves IF they make off with your bike. And like Spite said, ground anchor is a great idea and if not available, chain it to something solid.
New subscriber , looking forward to following it. Great video. Thank you for the sensible tips.
This was actually a very eye opening video
Good video. I’d like to see the products linked in the description though.
Amazing production Spite, you're perfecting your own style and it is amazing , I see you getting your own plaque from UA-cam for 100K Subs very soon!
There is a natural advantage against thieves in Texas but mentioning it is a surefire way to get demonetized, so I dont blame ya... Lets just say, 1911, and im not referring to the year.
Kinda surprised he didn't bring that up. I would expect Texas to be far more dangerous to steal a bike knowing the very liberal (the dictionary definition of liberal, not the political definition) laws of protecting yourself and your property.
The best anti-theft I found so far is to store a bike in a locker which is inside the underground parking lot of gated apartment complex with 24/7 security cameras surveillance.
Nothing can beat that. Nobody even knows the motorcycle is there let alone stealing it from there. Sometimes I even think like "If someone manages to steal my bike from here, well he definitely deserves it".
The downside - the price of this luxury.
I will not discover anything new, but this is another example how money can solve complicated problems.
If you turn the background audio up you can hear "...A click out of 1... nothing on 2... 3 is binding..."
You rock Spite! I think your style in this one is really entertaining and fun. Keep up the good work
Great video, Will be buying the chain to extra secure my baby, and the xena brake locks are really loud and annoying, but soo worth it.
My only question is, what tracker(s) do you recommend, I have tried apple airtag, but they are noisy and insecure.
Upped the game with the content quality.
Dude! amazing work on this video!!! You're killing it!
Nice editing on the video and good info! Thankfully I live where it's highly unlikely my bike will get stolen but ya never know.
Great vid man! Great length and info. Ride safe!
I could have bought a 690 enduro R but I was to worried it would get stolen.
Much better than those lame and lazy list videos; keep up the excellent work!
Loved the video man! Keep it up!
Dat Amazon cover. Time to upgrade 👀 nice vid
Recently got my bike stolen and goodness, smh gutted. It's not about the insurance getting back money, I really just wanted my baby back.
Great video, great production quality.
One gripe? Include some links in the description for quality options. You can probably get affiliate links and get a little kickback, too. (Just make sure you disclose it.)
Great video spite!
Last tip should be get theft insurance
What is "Do up the fork lock"? Is that the gearing chain attached to a rin with the frame and Ignition key? Why not take your ignition key?
Great video spite.
Nice job on this one.
Great content Spite, I really prefer these shorter videos 👏
Wish more people would actually listen to this advice.
I enjoyed, thanks for quality content
I have a tracking device in mine. Located god knows where, by the time a thief finds it he will have the police up his arse
This new style is quite fun to watch. Only the building montage part is kinda...off....or maybe its just me...but great video nonetheless!
Isn't there a way thieves can put jammers on the GPS signals if a tracker was installed?
In an enclosed trailer, that would make sense.
Keep your bikes clean, Spite. :)
Hi Spite! Mind sharing what tracker you recommend? Thanks!
Amazing video!
Nice video Spite. 👍
I thought i was watching a F9 Video!
Spite Rules!!!
great topic 👍
Fun video. Thanks
Diet Fortnine. I like it.
I do think as far as lifting the bike most thieves are not strong enough to now they obviously can eventually and it's not sufficient security on its own but it's going to take multiple thieves to lift a bike let's be honest here
Great video, 👍
small problem if you don't have disc brakes
If your front brake is drum, your ride is either in a museum or nobody wants it...
Don't use apple air tags for your tracker. Easily found and defeated by most thiefs. They also aren't very accurate at all.
The best theft deterrent is to buy a Suzuki GSX250r
Lol you can't even give that thing away 🤣
I found all I needed was a tracker , posse and a machete. Once you find the thief and remove their hands you won’t have this problem again, plus they are easily identifiable to public… 🤣 just kidding.. maybe..
My man🔥🔥
I personally think chaining a Pitbull or Rottweiler to the frame is the most effective deterrent. Angry Chihuahua if you're on a budget.
😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Chihuahua is better you can easily put in the backpack of the motorcycle and use it whenever
I'm the type of person that never finishes anything. I watched this whole video. Perfect length, good editing, valuable message. This is a keeper.
One for the short attention spans 😂
@@spitescorner His bike must have been stolen like 3 times. He's paying attention now. Hey Orange, spray your bike Fuchsia. Just swallow your pride and roll with the best security system this world has to offer! Just make sure you finish the paintjob for the full 100% or else it doesn't work though. You don't need any locks i can almost guarantee that.
@@LenTheFrisian once the bike has been gutted and every part sold, your fushia fairings don't matter 😰
So police dnt care about m bikes in us too .uk same
just wanted to reply coz we have the same avatar! Take care mate.
Man I can't tell you how impressed I am with you! Kept your head up and stayed true to who you are. The videos are great. I look forward to them! Great advice in this one. Will definitely look into beefing up my security
At this rate Yammie Noob will be asking Spite for a job soon.
Dude, the choreography in this video, the staging and lighting and use of flyover shots... This kind of work elevates your content to another level.
I think you mean cinematography..? Choreography is like dance moves hahah
@@SB-or5mj yeah i wasn't totally sure if i applied the word right. Cinematography has to do with the behavior of the camera, the shot angles, transitions from scene to scene... Whereas yeah, while choreography is usually associated with dance, i think it can also more generally refer to how someone moves during some kind of production. Maybe "staging" would have been a better word.
In any event, both the cinematography AND Spite's movements, gestures, etc are a step up, and it really elevates the video.
Ive had 3 motorbikes stolen, 2 were tied to a fence with chains and a disk lock and third was the same but to a lampost, since then with bike #4, I now have 3 disk locks on, an anti grind chain that goes through my front forks linking it to the lampost and an oxford beast lock and chain locking up the rear wheel to the frame and have a tracker/cover, yet everyday I still wakeup and worry for my bike 😂
That’s crazy. I also have had 4 bikes and never had one stolen.
I’m just doing the research now, and buying a litelock X3 D-lock, two Oxford disc lock alarms, and a 5‘ 12 mm chain. I’m also going to use a cover.
Bro just move where the fuck you livin
Oh man. I feel sorry to share this but here in Türkiye ,some thieves got rounded up recently and they found jammers in their backpacks. They only got caught because the mechanic who was part of the gang, installed some parts of a bike to a friend of a victim😅. Law enforcements go crazy on grand theft auto but they sit and scratch their arses for motorcycle theft smh
@denizkizilates3063 yeah I've seen some internal alarms lately that can't be jammed etc and just go crazy from movement, tempted to get one, £20 for my bike to scream when moved 😂
I would say the cover is less about deterring lazy thieves and more about deterring thieves conscious enough to realize that pulling up a cover to check someone else’s property is extremely suspicious.
Edit: also another easy way to signal “my bike has a disc lock/chain on it” is to use reminder cables, especially neon bright cables running right up to the handlebar. Good reminder to take it off before you ride, good signal to a thief to move on before they mess with the fork lock.
If there was ever a person qualified on this subject it'd be spite lol. Love the video, everything from the production and editing to the presentation were all on Fortnine levels of greatness. Keep up the great work spite!
Funny you mention Fortnine. I was thinking the exact same thing!
@Truly Britsy - Funny how for the first time ever on UA-cam I tried to find the block feature, and did. Not too sure why? ;-)
@@mygi43543 I mean he's had experience with his motorcycle constantly being stolen or attempted rather as he said in the beginning of the video.
@@49Roadmaster not sure what you mean by that?
@@trulybritsy1164 I block negative trolls like GC on any social media. These types of comments, and the people behind them, have arrested mental development and do not add to a positive conversation. Ignoring them actually infuriates them more than responding to them, because like the misbehaved child they are looking for attention.
So GC is my first on UA-cam that I have blocked.
Love the new format Spite! I'd like to see more videos like this, even if it means waiting longer between uploads. Keep this up, and your channel is gonna be huge!
When l lived in a apartment l put a big eye bolt in a 5 gallon bucket and filled it with concrete. It weighed 80lbs and l chained my motorcycle to it. It made moving the motorcycle a hassle and worked as a deterrent.
That's actually brilliant
Can you explain how you did this? Did you put in the bottom and concrete half the chain in it?
@@JustWrightHD You need a 5/8"X 12" eye bolt. Put a large washer with jam nuts on the threaded end. Suspend the assembled eye bolt with a stick into the center of the bucket placing the stick across the rim of the bucket. Pour cement into the bucket taking care to keep the eye bolt centered in the bucket as you pour. If you don't have a hand cart to move the completed anchor pour the cement in the location where you intend to use it. Buy a theft proof chain or cable to attach your motorcycle to eye bolt in the bucket. Thief's normally steal motorcycles by lifting them into a pickup. The bucket weighs close to 100lbs and will make it harder to quickly steal bike by lifting it, or rolling it away. It's not fool proof, but it is better than nothing.
I'm confused. Couldn't they cut the chain?
@@Vynzent well like OP said, it acts as a pretty decent deterrent
Loved the new styling of the video, looks much more professional and production value at least seems higher, great to see it.
Carry on the great work and we cant wait to see more videos.
Interesting video, to protect my bike i do the following - 22mm chain with large lock, 16mm chain with alarm lock and ground anchor, steering lock, datatag and a tracker. I also sleep in the front bedroom which overlooks my drive so i would hear if the alarm went off. I live about 100metres from a police station. I keep a bb rifle and baseball next to my bed. Getting a German Shepherd too soon for added security. Also have cctv with alarm and voice ability, aka GET AWAY FROM MY BIKE! 👍
Loved and hated this video! Loved it because its great content and really nice production values. The hate part is because I CAN'T F*CKING STAND THEIVES. Glad to see that subscriber number keeps climbing! Come on 100k! Lets go!
