- Yo! I've decided to take all the footage from the IGN First Frontiers gameplay and compile them all into one track via GarageBand. Hope you enjoy!
(Side note this is a new editing software so I apologize for the crappy editing)
Well... the official track is finally out now! And like I heard when recreating this, it was beautiful and masterful. Ohtani just can't be topped lol. Thanks so much to everyone that supported the hell out of this recreation up until the official track dropped. Yall are too kind 🙏🏾🙏🏾
As for future plans, I may recreate the Sky Sanctuary music since that sounded cool, but thats if I have the time. Other than that I'll just be posting more random music (and drawing) stuff here.

@@kingkazma3246 Tomoya Ohtani is the Sound Director for the Sonic Series. He's worked on Sonic Heroes, 06, Unleashed, Colours, Generations, Lost World, Forces and now Sonic Frontiers.
However, he's also worked on music in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Chu Chu Rocket, SEGA Rally, Space Channel 5 Part 2, Skies Of Archadia, Nights Journey Into Dreams, and several other projects as well.

Tomoya Ohtani did a fantastic job with SA2 and 06, when he does cinematic like music he's truly something else, you did a wonderful job at capturing the feeling of mystery and melancholy the game seems to be focused
Are you talking about the tracks that Ohtani specifically did for SA2, or the whole soundtrack for SA2 in general? Cause Jun Senoue was the main composer at that point.

MY DUDE THEY RELEASED THE ORIGINAL AND IT SOUNDS ALMOST THE SAME AS YOURS, YOU'RE A LEGEND
This makes me imagine Sonic floating in an empty space, the chaos emeralds are floating around him, he realizes he was beaten by the final boss, while in super Sonic. He opens his eyes, tries to turn super again, but the emeralds get away from him. He is in despair, he runs with the little force he has left towards the emeralds, finally they stop, they make a circle shape and start spinning, and finally each of them head towards a different spot. A green light emerges, it's the master emerald at the center. The emeralds start to glow even Brighter, it's almost as if they are getting bigger, and they are. Sonic is amused, and walks towards the light.
Then a scene shows knuckles, tails and Amy looking at the scene of a titan from afar, about to step on sonic and end his Life, and just as it is going to land that final blow, an intense flash of light emerges from sonics body, which sends the titan back.
The light is beautiful, it's as if all colours emerge from it.
Knuckles sees this and he knows. "I can't believe this, he has done it!"
The light dims, and now focuses on sonic, in a white vibrant colour, that looks as if he is also every colour at once. The final battle begins, Hyper Sonic is back.

Finally, I was looking for someone to recreate this track from the first reveal gameplay! All we got was multiple versions of the trailer music. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for releasing this! 💙 this soundtrack sends so many chilling emotions down my soul. Its so speechless to be able to hear this in the vast world of Sonic! Its music like this that prove you can have music go on a loop in open world environments! I for one, am not so much of a fan when the exploration is quiet lacking that ambient music.
Thank you for this. While Sega does not release the official soundtrack, i will listen to this non-stop.

I have never been this bizarrely frustrated before. I just spent like, 45 minutes combing thru the official OST to find this version, only to find out that it's fanmade
Which means that not only did I literally confuse it for the real thing, but it's my favorite version of the song

i am left in awe of this. thank you for putting the music together. I've always been mostly distracted by what's on screen that the music is usually a forgotten second but in Frontiers' case, I was really into it but was bummed out about not being able to find a whole arrangement, so again, thank you for putting it all together

I'm really glad this game is 60 dollars. Since Sonic Unleashed, Sonic has not had a full costing game. I really hope Frontiers will be a huge hit.

Amazing recreation! This track stood out to me when I first watched the IGN gameplay reveal, I just wanted to hear more of it! I cant wait to hear the official version of this track, but a very well done recreation and thank you for taking the time to create this. This sounds like a more sci-fi take on Princess Mononoke.
Then again, Breath of the Wild is one of Sonic Frontiers’ biggest inspirations and that was heavily inspired by Princess Mononoke.

This sounds amazing; would love for something like this to be in the game at some point. Trying not to be too disappointed with any Frontiers news in the future, but I’ve got decently hyped up with the beautiful world, new characters, and the small tidbits of plot we have so far. how I loved this Sonic soundtrack when I saw the trailer it even made me cry it's beautiful and beautiful and gives a touch of desperation, hope and that I have to fight for good because of what I see in the trailer it is seen that Sonic will be the last hope and that the aliens (robots whose origin is not yet known) are about to dominate the world and Sonic will be the one chosen to defeat them (I don't know about you but these robots remind me of the saga of robots from Sonic X the anime sorry I don't remember the name)

Took a while, but yeah 💀 I searched for each part of the arrangement on IGN's channel and merged them into one.
what software do you use? (it's really amazing, not crappy)
GarageBand on iOS devices (specifically on my iPad tho)! I usually make all my tracks there.
