My goodness Lel, just when I decide you could never impress me more….you do! Your artistry and creativity blow me away! Thank you and Martyn for the best viewing ever!
I hope I didn't sound gushing but there is so much vacuous telly, and you present reality, artistry and work, which is a sheer pleasure to watch...I'll send pictures of hoopoes piece soon...x
Wow Lel, Being honest I’ve never been into steampunk but this transformation is amazing the decoupaged bits the raised bits & the added extra from Martin looks the part with the numbers on,love it , I’ve been converted 👌x
Yes steam punk often can look very masculine so I think this was a pretty sort of feminine take on it.... I'm so glad you watched and left such a kind comment Lel x
I love the grunginess of this piece! Also the unexpected additions of the number plates and small handle plates! It is a far cry from the pine😊 I have some glass bead gel but haven’t tried it yet. Guess I’ll pull it out! Thanks for the inspiration🥰
Yes even if our rates vary just use the techniques and use them in your own taste and styles.... Thanks for watching and commenting. Oh yes and marty and I are like two peas in a pod.... Ha ha ha
Hello beautiful Lel..I was away from all social media for a minute to come back and see this!!!If I was in Europe I would buy this stunning peace of furniture for me, so far the most beautiful thing ever...I've been doing furniture for a good minute but your approach and your vision is another level..now to get some of your decoupage paper ❤❤❤

Oh and Maz I don't have a link to the dragonfly handles... But I bought them at TK Max if this helps. I often find fabulous handles there in the home ware section... TK Max are online maybe you could have a look... Lel x
I love this Lel, love all the odd knobs, thats me to a T! I have a story to tell. I have 2 sets of drawers with them weird handles on them and at the back of them they are exactly the same as yours!! One set I got about 30 years ago looks like yours. I got them from Freemans catalog. The measurement were in metric lol which I refuse to learn, give me inches and yards all day long. So, I thought what a great price they were,£70! Any hoo they arrived and shouls have seen the size of them lol. They are tiny so no wonder they were that price.I will take phot"os and put them on your FB page. Xx
What a great way to start a Monday....a Lel video. I have to say I cheat and use rustoleum rust affects when I want a rusty look. I'm too impatient and find it hard to be random. We found one of those handles on a pine bedside table 2 weeks ago and were just as amazed as you 🧡🧡🧡

Hello, I love this, very inspiring. I'm doing a similar piece, what did you seal the front with? Polyurethane? Clear wax?
Hey there I sealed it with 2 coats of laquer but wax would work equally well.
Love Lel x
@MadebyMarley thank you for responding , I'll do polycrylic or something along those lines, think clear wax will dull my metallic details?
Oh an Martin doing jiggery pockery😂
Ha ha I have no words you have just made me laugh out loud ha ha ha 🤣
another beautiful piece with many tips and tricks! Thank you for your artistry, Lel!
Thanks I'm glad you got some tips. Thanks so much for watching
