@@MrIown212 the girlfriend called in from the bank. A report of a suspected drunk driver is enough to stop a vehicle especially if a passenger is the one reporting it. Plus there's no more evidence because he refused the field test so he has to be taken it for a blood test.

The officer was not right behind him, and the guy did not flee when the officer caught up to him. You cannot charge the driver with “aggravated fleeing”
I mean they could charge him with whatever; doesn't mean it'll hold up in court though. He won't get anything for fleeing, guaranteed

Officers can hear everything going on on the radio that’s cut out of these shows. Usually officers are already enroute before backup is requested. I used to be a dispatcher for this dept 🙂
