This is very good news for us here in SA. Can the box handle big torque figures. My cruiser is pushing 1300nm torque on 35” tires at the wheels. Can the box and controller handle that?
the transmission is made for 700 nm, but we have vehicles running 1300 nm with no issues. the problem coming in is where you are towing a very heavy deep sea fishing boat round the 3,5T mark. on the long run the trans will fail as the power you push thru it will break the trans. the 1000 nm trans will be able to handle that torque.
hi, we showed that on a previous video. ua-cam.com/video/u420ozdDVOI/v-deo.html you can also see the shimmer pics on our facebook web.facebook.com/zoneoffroadJHB/
Hi Please can you answer the following as im very keen and between my friends and i we have 3 we would like done. 1) will it work on the V6 Cruiser. 2) have you done towing tests as this adds another dimension to the product. ( i know that on its own the box is well known and capable but every different vehicle causes a different effect to the box. 3)We do a number of trips to Botswana a year towing 4x4 trailers and Caravans. The sand is very very thick and you can tow in 40deg plus temperatures. This puts extra strain on any vehicle and i would like to know what extra cooling you have on the system (would it be needed) which would cater for this added strain. 4) if there are any issues with most popular brands toyota, Nissan etc help is not far away in neighboring states. If im in Botswana,Namibia, etc are there workshops available to work on this Brand of product. I know ZF is used worldwide but are there centers in Africa to assist. 5) from time of paying deposit required, how long does it take before I receive my vehicle back. 6) what is your guarantee period. Looking forward to your replies.
hi, we are busy with the development on the V6, we hope to have the development completed by end on January. we have done testing with load and towing a caravan, side by side Canam and a deep sea fishing boat with no issues
@@ausguy4385 i can make the vehicle shift faster but the RPM fall too low with no power if it shifts to 8th at 100km/hr, it shifts round 107 km/hr to 8th and stays there
@@ausguy4385 but that can easily be calculated to see what it is at 100km/hr. That info is also no use if the gearbox won't shift to 8 at that speed (makes sense if you keep reliability in mind).
@@zoneoffroadsouthafrica6359 adding some slightly shorter diff ratios it might help with so 8th can be achieved at 100kmh without revs dropping too low
Now, this is an appealing proposition...👌👌👌
It amazes me that without even trying it gets to 100kmh like twice as fast as the 5spd manual would
He casually says he's cruising while going 120km/hr 😂
140kmh cruising
Is that not cruising you bozo
Hi
I am interested in getting this for a v6 4.0 petrol. What is the cost for this and how much time is needed for installation

Very cool. Looking into this for myself. What shifter and control module are you using?
we are using a shifter from the Trackhawk and the controller we use is one we developed with a company in the USA
Wow, I Love 8 speed auto! Is it possible to do the auto conversion to a 1HDFTE (V6) engine or just V8s only?
1hdfte is NOT a V6! It's an inline 6
pretty damn cool stuff - what if i need this conversion in my troopy over here in Germany? 🤔
send me your mail address and i will forward you a price
Any reason on why you didn't show us the gear shifter on how it's setup?
And what type of gear box it is?
hi, we showed that on a previous video.

Do you send to east Africa?! Because I’m interested.

To call this impressive would be an understatement, do you have an support email address I could reach you guys on?
Would like to make some enquiries

Does it stay in top gear at 100kph, and what revs is it doing.
yes it does, at 120km/hr the rpm is 1950
@Zone Offroad South Africa he said 100kmh no 120...

How's the fuel consumption
sitting between 130 and 140 I get 6,5L/100

It’s not that impressive. 8 gears 120 should be sitting on 1500 rpm
if the RPM is sitting at 1500 rpm the vehicle will feel sluggish and no power as the vehicles stock Turbo only kicks in round 2200 RPM.
