Just to put things into context… we are close to Khaenri’ah’s potential release (2026) than Mondstadt’s (2020)… Upcoming video: more analyses +5 Sinners and the 6 Pygmies!
It's also crazy to realized that Kaeya also knew about the 5 sinners and even hinted about them the whole time too😭"Khaenri'ah, huh? You sure know a lot! The legacy of Khaenri'ah is long gone. The sinners are all that's left, and they're not worth mentioning."
@@ibelieveinwoozisupremacy8681 in limited event (the one with diluc skin i guess) it revealed kaeya keep letter of his father & his father seems anti khaenriah revival, which kinda anti abyss order. Alberich is a REGENT clan, why a country with living king need a regent? it means the king is 'unwell' and after what dainsleif describe on how the sinners let their own people die, or how bitter pierro seems to the sages (sinner) it seems even amongst surviving khaenrian sinners are just that, traitors
@@astridmustikasyamsuri6207, yeah, King Irmin is "indisposed" since sometime around the Cataclysm. (btw, the first Regent of Khaenri'ah was Knight Marshall Anfortas (Alberich), so if you see the name somewhere ingame, like that one achievement, it's one of Kaeya ancestors)
From what I understand since playing from pre-release is Genshin has always been designed to never end... that's straight from interviews and stuff from the producers... if it does "end" it will be like 4 years from now at least.
Minsleif and Ashiki are like the goddesses of Genshin lore, so much filled within by connecting the dots while this something Minsleif is dying to see return.
If Tyvat is in a constant loop, then its citizens don't have free will of their own. Our sibling could use the Loom of Fate to open up branches in their life path for them to decide how they live it, thus granting them free will and breaking the cycle. Also the photo was the first use of the loom of fate's full power by the last remnants of Caribert. That is why he is fading out of the photo. Literally an object, by all reason, shouldn't exist.
Is surprising how many people didn’t read the description of the photo and just took it as a cute way for the Traveler remember… like the absolute madlad broke the hard rules of the world causally before ceasing to exist, this is HUGE and shows how powerful the Loom of Fate is.
that is my assumption but at the same time it's narratively inconsistent to go "caribert uses his final instances of the loom of fate as he's dying to; permanently implant cheerful memories of him teleport the siblings to another world trick dain with his last strength hold together the imaginary world with his last breathe permanently implant new memories descripting a happy exit from this life and still on his last toes the entire archon quest magically CREATE create a selfie of the travellers and him like although it almost fits it's still a tad bit excessive although it falls in line with genshin plot writing in general, so honestly that's probs just how it is , a solemn act of charity (very cute image) also caribert should never have had the ability to utilise the loom of fate, he only had remnants of it- since he never got the field tiller's eye or sh wait the implication is that lumine is using the loom no?
@@ghetoknight7801 You need to walk before you can run. With only literal moments left before your existence ends and you have the full power of the LoF at your disposal, but are not sure how to fully utilize it, maybe all he could do with such a short little time and limited knowledge of the LoF was make a photo. Also considering one of his only wishes in life was to be remembered then it isn't a stretch to think that this is something he would have wanted.
I think one of the big Lore drops was how powerful Dainsleif actually is. According to Lumine he can take down the entire Abyss Order on his own if he wants too.
@@Sacration but that's kind of what she said.. she said that every troop she sent would only be marching to their doom if their opponent is the twilight knight and she also said that if Dain didn't hesitate to raise his sword against her maybe she wont be able to defeat the twilight knight even after 500 years. so she did kind of say Dain could take down the entire abyss order by himself
@@m4rx_tzy142She said he could take down the troops. He’s of similar, if not slightly higher power to Lumine (Yes, he hesitated, but he still lost. Therefore it’s not like he’s overwhelmingly more powerful than Lumine, he’s just somewhat stronger). But you’re ignoring the rest of the abyss order. Lumine is obviously one of the stronger members, but what about the sinners? You think because he beat Lumine he’s also beating Gold, Surtalogi etc?
I will say I didn’t like the conversation between Aether & Lumine just being deleted from both of their memories, I feel like having this genuine conversation between the two, and actually hearing the abyss sibling’s perspective on things could lead to some sort of internal conflict with the traveler. All of the information provided could lead to how the traveler acts in the future of the story. Contextually it makes sense as to why they wouldn’t remember it, but I’m still a little disappointed that the whole conversation is just forgotten, maybe it could come back somehow, but for the time being, I just feel like it wasn’t the best way to handle that
Yea and it’s not to say that their conversation answered a lot of questions either. So I don’t understand why hoyo decided to not make them remember it.
Like for real, i was about to loose it first of all when dain asked us to leave knowing the sibling was going to appear then when they said its gonna get deleted from their memory, i almost lost it thankfully we got the photo of the two siblings together, maybe our traveler will look at this image and change their point of view a bit ?? Stil this is kinda no cool from mihoyo knowing we are more than half done with the game it would have been cool to see like you said our traveler change perspective from this point on knowing that our abyss sibling is overwhelmed and is trying his best, well i guess thats all we gonna get until next year for 10mins of more dainslef and our siblings
18:15 it is actually "moon hunter" or "people who hunts moon", so some people believe that his job is hunting the remains of crimson moon dynasty like arlecchino and 20:00, the text clear says"he" not "they", so dain only has 1 brother
@@Sacration you are right, "person" here is more suitable than "people", the first word came to me was "people" when i saw"人" so i just wrote that down.
Also kaeya mentions the sinners in one of his voiceline saying that they are not worthy to mention or something like that he definitely knows something
Could it be that both Aether and Lumine are having the same journey? Just different time and different cirumstances. The sibling got to travel Teyvat pre war and got to know Kaenria'ah's people. Traveller got to meet the peoples from a post war Teyvat. Both met new friends, they made their own found family, 500 years between them. That's why the sibling wants Traveller to finish their journey, so they can understand why they're fighting against their found family's curse, the Kaenrian curse.
I thought Caribert was the creator of the photo as a last gift as he turned into the completed loom of fate, just like when Lumine touches Aether's head right before their meeting ends, even though she had said they couldn't touch. It would also explain why Caribert is in the photo himself.
Something to consider: Reread Snow White and the Six Dwarfs and see the similarities between the "blind" dwarf and the "visionary". The dwarf who wanted to use the prince's body to reflower the garden and "Gold".The dwarf "repentant" when keeping the prince's body in a hole and Deinsleif guarding the eye of the first cultivator of the land. For me, the order of the abyss and the fatui have the same objective. The fatui will use the loom of destiny for their purposes. Remember Collei's dream and the burning tree. Perhaps they want to recreate a new tree, since Irminsul is as guilty as the abyss of every tragedy on this planet. Let's remember Remuria and the theory about Remus/Cylla/Sybilla. If it's Pahnes, Nibelung and primordial Seelie, think about the sacrifice the Seelie made to help Remus/Pahnes. Everything that happened in Remuria was the responsibility of fortune/Irminsul, because she had already enacted Remuria's cycle of destruction. Perhaps Pahnes reached the planet and the primordial Seelie, who had told Remus about the inevitable fate of his kingdom. It is interesting to think that the primordial Seelie became one of Phanes' shadows, being that of life (which could be considered a descent, since she had the power to create life). Her sacrifice in becoming Phobos can be associated with the metaphor of the celestial tree, which was cut down to help Pahnes repair the castle's beams. If this is real, we could be talking about Phanes and Nibelung (1 and 2 descendants creating gnosis from the body of 3). The Seelie body provided the power of the elements of Irminsul, and Nibelung handed over the authority of the dragons that ruled the land. We then have 3 forces in Teyvat. Irminsul who uses the cycle of destruction of civilizations to prevent the power of the abyss (Honkai), but was corrupted as it carried out not only the good but the bad desires that the primordial Seelie ended up providing (since she became the gnosis, with the ability to provide visions). The abyss, which is using sinners to dominate. The traveler, who brings the power of another world to prevent Irminsul from continuing to define people's destiny. Irminsul it is "evil" for regulating the planet, causing the Sansara cycle with imminent death and destruction. Abyss, as it is an oppressive power in its essence and the traveler, who must be the only one capable of rivaling the world.
Pointing out another discrepancy that popped up with this quest that makes me sus of the abyss sibling: In this quest, Dain says that the sinners did nothing to help kaheri'ah when the disaster broke out, and he's gonna take revenge on them for that-- in the We will be reunited quest, though, abyss sibling states that Dain is their enemy because HE did nothing to help khaenriah during the disaster- and now we find out that they're basically siding with the visionary-- something is very off with this because it's either one or the other-- and we just went through a whole quest about fake memories
Nah everyone is sus. We can't even trust our own traveller, hiding his side missions like that(secretly reading books about ancient civilizations and being smug about it) 💀
I don't remember if it's mentioned in this video but "the flames that consume the world" could be tied to what Dainsleif says in the travail trailer: "None will escape the flames, see for yourself"
Something interesting with the mention of Hroptatyr being one of the names of Odin is the fact that in norse mythology, Odin hanged himself in the Yggdrasil tree in order to obtain wisdom about runes, and in the quest item Silver Twig (memento from the Sumeru Archon quest) is mentioned that in a legend, a sage hanging upside down on a tree gained knowledge on how to inscribe runes and a glimpse of the secrets of the cosmos, which increases even further the relation that both the genshin version and the mythology version have
i mean, all archons are going to have massive lore drops sooner or later, we barely know anything about what Zhongli and Venti are really about, they definitely know WAY more than what they tell us
28:45 this is definitely asking what Lumine is to Dain. Whether she is someone in his way who he must kill to reach his goal, or someone who he holds dear to him that he feels sorrow for their rebellion and wants to save. I think the thing he feels guilty for is letting Lumine run astray and end up on the evil side of the abyss.
Vinster King is most likely Irmin. Rocking the foundations of the world most likely referring to his antics, and there was a degree of familiarity when he said it.
The moment Traveler said they forgot what happened after they met Caribert, DANG! Their memory was altered by the Loom of Fate! Did it mean their fate already been weaved into the leyline via the Loom of Fate? Now they're indirectly bound into Teyvat fate. Like Dainsleif said in Teyvat Chapter Travail preview, "the treads of all fates will be yours to re-weave." So, imo, the moment the Loom of Fate take it full potential, it may be the moment the Traveler re-weave or alter all the fate in Teyvat. Because LoF have the potential to rival Irminsul, or maybe replace it. And the Inteyvat flower, imo, the Traveler use the same method as how Ei plant the sacred sakura tree. She planted it in the present, but the tree grew in the past. Maybe in the future, the Traveler will plant Inteyvat too.
28:50 He might've been the 6th Pygmy (along with the other 5 sinners) to kill the Pale Princess. Now he regrets it and his penitence is punishing the other 5 pygmies. Remember, one pygmy wasn't so enthusiastic about the idea of killing the pale princess, but in the end, got peer pressured (or convinced) to do it. He might be blaming himself for that moment of weakness and seeks penance.
If I’m not wrong, wasn’t Rhinedottir referred to as “Flower that is not of this world” in the 3.5 Hexenzirkel quest? Could she perhaps have either obtained the In Teyvats and used them to lure the twins in to help Khaenri’ah in some way? Or maybe she could be from the same world as the twins and she herself is the “Flower that is not of this world”.
After all these Dainsleif quests I’m becoming more curious abt what Kaeya’s role in the future will be. I remember he responded to us asking him about Khaenri’ah with something like “There’s nothing left from Khaenri’ah except the sinners” meaning he knows that much despite only being a descendant of Khaenri’ans, meaning he’s been digging up some deep secret shits behind us all along. The severe lack of his appearance in the later versions is honestly killing me. Hoyo just tell me what’s my boy been up to 😭😭
he’s gonna be VERY relevant near the end game, that’s for sure. his dad send him to mondstadt for some kind of mission. kaeya for some reason isn’t cursed with the curse of wilderness like the rest (he’s not pureblooded). so my mans gonna be relevant real soon
i think they kind canceled of his importance with how things are going. Seems like they planned something big but then decided to scrap that alltogether. They could've initially wanted to make a gacha system with a skin that gives extra powers like honkai and therefore, more story but as the game got bigger they realized new characters pull in more profits than that so kaeya will probably just get a cutscene or a small quest at the end.
i feel like theres many characters that might be relevant in the future, Kaeya, Childe, Albedo, Mona, Fischl... also, is no one in game going to mention how Kazuha had 2 visions for a second and stoped the attack of a god? no? i feel like that might be relevant at some point lol but yeah, theres characters that for sure are going to get more involved in the overall story
@@bloop4527 nah i believe they will give kaeya a very much bigger importance in the end game. things will 100% conclude in mondstadt where everything started (a gate to celestia is basically there which seems connected to venti and his statue). kaeyas mission is yet to be revealed and we haven’t been to khaenriah yet. Kaeya is linked to clothar alberich the founder of the abyss. he for some reason is not a hilichurl and has his right eye covered which is symbolic for odin (aka king irmin and the royal khaenrians). he’s a mysterious character so if they don’t turn him into a five star like dan heng, then hoyo is missing out on making that money (they love their bag, cmon!!). even in mona’s voice line it is hinted he will have to make a BIG decision one day. khaenriahs arc is his time to shine.
In my opinion it's just getting started rather than ending...the amount of questions and the amount of people mentioned, where are the sinners, will dain get his revenge ,how will the traveller be able to beat all these characters after the recent fight with arle, what about travellers brother/sister, why is heavenly principles sleeping, what exactly happened in khaneriah ,what are harbingers trying to do with gnosis, and many many more
Istaroth makes sense for the photo and being preset since Caribert disappeared after that gust of wind (Istaroth being the god of time and wind, the appearance of wind in a space where time did not pass indicated that the space would soon fade)
so uhm, yeah, ya'll remember how in fma the creation of the philosopher stone is with human souls. and the loom of fate needs a soul to be sacrificed to be created. sooo with all the anime references that genshin uses to make, I think this is an important one.
Neat analysis! The Five Sinners have really been a point of interest for me. I'm kinda just a sucker for numbered groups like the Eleven Fatui Harbingers. One thing interesting I've noticed, in regards to Hroptatyr: In the Chinese description of the Mocking Mask artefact of the Pale Flame set, one of the lines reads as follows: "既然我的才学无法与*「贤者」*比拟,没能获得上一位王者的青睐," which corresponds to "Since my level of learning could not compare with *the sages*, I failed to earn the favor of the previous ruler." The neat thing is, Hroptatyr's title, 'The Wise', is listed in Chinese as「贤者」. So rather than the sages, Pierro might be calling out Hroptatyr directly. My friends more versed in Chinese than myself tell me both options are a possibility, though the「」title brackets could indicate a 'proper-noun-ness' that favours the latter option. I would absolutely love if we got a Winter-Night's-Lazzo-esque trailer for the Five Sinners. Now THAT would be amazing. Once again, awesome video!
Dainsleif’s element was revealed to be blue fire in this archon quest. This means he could have a playable character that is just a different version of pyro (Eg: Arlecchino’s crimson flames, young Diluc’s red flames)
Great video!!!! However, this part around 22:02 the Chinese text translates literally into "I don't want to mention it but he is indeed also my sibling, my brother." I don't think it is implying that ALL FIVE SINNERS are Dain's siblings. I didn't check the context tho but I think Dain was only referring to Vedrfolnir. Anyways, thanks for the recap and analysis! Really love your contents!
My Lady, I was actually waiting for your insight on this specific quest and on the information that Dainsleif provides us! Thanks for the vid btw, another great one!
i am so thankful that there are people like you, i am wayyy to lazy to read through the story and all that stuff but i love to watch ur videos . tyy sooo much
26:28 Isn't it just Caribert? The picture has him smack right in the center, with kind word that suits his kind character. He also holds the reality alter power of the Loom of Fate in his hand, even if only for a short time, so he can "weave" the picture into our pocket.
Still being dripfed plot progression like this almost four years on is wild. Why do you hate celestia? "I don't know... it would take so long to explain..." What are you going to do with the Loom of Fate? "I haven't decided yet..." Girl WHAT?! And then we forget the whole pointless meeting. God damn.
so, lumine beat dainslef, has the complete loom of fate by implication, then magically appears in a place where only remnants of the loom of fate; uutilising the ability to manipulate dreams, appears?? I think the implication is that she uses her loom of fate to force her way into a dying domain, meet with traveller, then jump ship and then caribert, on the verge of death but now with access to the field tiller's eye (on lumine's body, or the complete loom of fate in general) was able to muster up a huge amount of strength as he's apparating; being able to rewrite everyone in the village's memories and create a photo in those final few minutes -which goes to show how strong the loom of fate is, half dead with no experience in the full ver (prior experience but still) could completely psychologically manipulate to intense detail an entire village and become to reality a manifested reflection of a scene AND bring that across dimensions, and this is all from third party access anyways, hoping shit gets real soon
28:49 i think dain is feeling guilty rn for loosing the eye since he thought that he gave it to us, bc he left without saying a word. I think we won't see Dain for awhile Also tysm for explanation!!
Yup Caribert manipulated him in the world of memories where Dain saw only in his mind where he said: "wait, traveler" he lowered his pants, made faces and strength and (uaghhh and gave the eye he had saved to the traveler), "take this..."
This is like the shortest Dainsleif archon quest we got. I somehow miss the 1st one where had to dodge bubbles and falling platforms and had to battle the Abyss Lector 3 times I think
All the new inteyvat flower lore has me a little stumped/confused... like in the twin's chasm quest, isn't it mentioned that Lumine (as traveller) woke up with the flower in her hair, and Aether (as traveller) simply remembered seeing it in his sister's hair?
22:20 it doesn’t mean they are all his brothers, it means that Vedroflnir is not only “the visionary” but also his brother. I can see why looking at one sentence ”也是我哥哥” sounds like he has multiple brothers, but when you read it all together it doesn’t mean that.
the nature of genshin is every so often we look into the lore and there childe is, the chaos gremlin that he is, somehow having yet another second/third/fourth hand connection to some lore-significant figure again
And speaking of Travail Dain's dialogues.... That sounds kinda like the type of protagonist becoming antagonist, Eren telling his comrades to fight him or to step aside.... Or Kevin letting Kiana, Bronya and Mei become Finality, Truth and Origin in order to fight and win against him, or lose; so they could use the Project Stigma however they wanted, or simply destroy it.... And the Project Stigma is literally the same, in overall terms, as the Loom of Fate (And let's remember Da Wei's love for Evangelion and FANTAAAAAAAA), so..... What if Dain ends up trying to follow the Abyss Order or, at least, the Sibling's plan to save Teyvat; but only after everything else seems to be just vain attempts to be reasonable with Celestia or something, like how Eren gave chancesto Marley to stop fighting, and how much he tried to find a way, a path where he wouldn't need to use the Rumbling, yet still ending in him using the Founding Titan's powers.... "Defeat me. Make me step aside. Show me that you can save her. And you'll be able to rewrite the destiny", it really seems like something Kevin Kaslana would say while stealing Finality power to continue with the worst yet the, aparently, only chance to save everything that is left; the final chance to get everything back.
What If his brother forces dain to become a weapon that'll lead the loom of fate operation, implant the machine in him (like the eye) and he becomes a boss fight we defeat and reclaim the eye and make it reweave our paths Maybe Veldrfolnir told this prophecy to dain and that's why he is trying to stop it🤔?
i suddenly remembered something when you said if dainslief is gonna be Playable he should reflect on his power hahahaah remembering Childe and Raiden's release hahahah
26:20 I think its a mistake to simply assume "our sibling is too far gone". I think its much more reasonable to assume that "our sibling knows something we dont, the truth of this world" and has decided that going with the abyss is the better choice in order to solve whatever problem the world of Genshin has. It would be unbelieveably boring if all of this lore and build up ended with "no, the abyss sibling is simply wrong and dumb and they should have obviously chosen the path that we walked on for 5 years, their journey of 500 years was a nothing burger and everything they learned on that 500 year journey can be thrown away in favour of our random stroll through Teyvat." If Genshin main story ends with a sibling fight that our chosen playable sibling will win with the power of nakama and the abyss sibling suddenly switches over to our side like Sasuke - i will be dissapointed.
11:11 yes I've been searching for explanation/theory about that flower and thatconversation. My first thought is that they finally find their "home"? Teyvat is final destination? Ahhh need more lore and answers 28:00 omg dain's line about re-weaving the fate is now make sense. Maybe something really big bad happened at the end and we using the loom of fate gonna change the world permanently?
13:50 I personally believe the fact that the twin’s last words weren’t heard by us means that Traveller will remember this reunion at some point in the future. Hoyoverse wouldn’t just have the twin say those words and it never get revealed what she said.
I love when you did the robot half you did the side more mechanical and it also shows that robots can’t replace human emotions and the memory is more lively and expressive
YEss i've been thinking about Pierro's role in all of this. I see some suggest he could be The Wise but to be it feels he is not on the side of the abyss and is possibly the one armed sage who fought with Dain so gim referring to those safes in the trailer makes perfect sense in my mind
The Portuguese translation may not be the best in the game and they've already changed the meaning of a lot of things, but since the release of Star Rail, it seems like Hoyo actually hired someone who knew what they were doing so maybe... Rancher of Solnari = Moon Avenger / Moon's Avenger Vinster King = King Eclipse
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS. I was waiting every single hour of every day waiting for your explanation of this Archon quest. Was so lost besides the obvious and hated how short it was, spoiler for those that haven't done it: I hated the ending of it. I wanted to be wrong so I waited for your video. Thank you for all the hard work Minsleif, you're one of the people that makes the archon quests better for me 😊
dont forget the line after the Teyvat Chapter Guide: "my memory has all but faded but i, too, remember how much she loved these flowers" or summ like that
I am having a bad feeling about this. In future, we would get a choice to choose from which side we want to fight: Harbingers, Abyss or celestia. That would determine ending of the game (good or bad one).
I actually bawled my eyes out with the picture they gave us at the end, after the cutscene, and the little conversaation they had. MY EYES ARE RED, IM CRYING I CAN'T GET OVER IT I NEED AT LEAST A DREAM WHERE THEY ARE HAPPY TOGETHER😭😭😭😭
I interpreted the photo as a goodbye gift from Caribert. He specifically said the complete loom of fate could create lay lines, and considering lay lines are the foundation of everything in teyvat creating lay lines could equal creating actual tangible things.
When I'd read that picture's description, I thought it tries to suggest, that neither Caribert nor his mind realm is truely gone. That he took the picture and while that realm collapsed, it did not really stop existing. That somehow the loom preserved it/him and once it reboots after the installment of the field tiller's eye, Caribert will find his way back to us... But yes, maybe I was just hoping for poor dude still being out there somehow... I also think that Dain will not be playable until after we fought him (which will likely be after Snezhnaya) and they didn't show his fighting so they can adjust it later (he has to be super strong and if they come out with new characters between showing his skills and our fight with him, that would set his mechanics into stone). Plus, we know he uses some abyss power or some otherworldly skill... So it might also be a clue of who he really is or such. And they don't want us to know those things yet. As for his question about trusting our sibling.. he seemed to either test our resolve, or connecting our situation to his (a sibling who betrayed us, a sibling who betrayed him). But we are not there, yet. Maybe we will not be there ever, as we might not be as vengeful as Dain. Or he might knows what is our sibling truely needs to be asahamed of... Anyways, it seems, his reason for breaking group from our sibling was due to her/him forging alliance with the Sinner (Dain's brother). Maybe there is more detail to the story, but ballpark... I am also not 100% sure that the her we miht be worthy to save is our sister. Because this game generally tried to avoid gender specific references (as wecould play either twin - why else would they let us choose). Could it be our mother? Could it be the premordial one? Maybe it is dead (believed to be dead) and so it doesn't respond to Focalors' scheming
OKAY @Minsleif I put it all together (unless you already covered this ) but I think we've already seen Kanreha ik I cant spell BUT. In the “we will be reunited “ video on genshin youtube page we see the tower and bridges that we see in the login screen. And I believe while we were asleep our twin was exploring Teyvat and witness the fall of Kanreha meaning those tower and bridges in the login screen may be the “sky “ of Kanreha or Kanreha it self!!!😮😮😮
22:01 about the chinese text, I don't think it's implying that all 5 sinners are his relatives. the translation is basically one to one! "但他确实也是我的血亲" has the same amount of ambiguity as "But he is also my kin", in that the use of "也是/also" could either mean: 1) The sinner in the crystal is Vedrfolnir. Additionally, Vedrfolnir is my kin, my older brother. 2) The sinners are my kin, including Vedrfolnir - my older brother. in other words, in the same way we take the first interpretation for the English text, the Chinese text also goes the same way

Is surprising how many people didn’t read the description of the photo and just took it as a cute way for the Traveler remember… like the absolute madlad broke the hard rules of the world causally before ceasing to exist, this is HUGE and shows how powerful the Loom of Fate is.
that is my assumption but at the same time it's narratively inconsistent to go "caribert uses his final instances of the loom of fate as he's dying to;
permanently implant cheerful memories of him
teleport the siblings to another world
trick dain with his last strength
hold together the imaginary world with his last breathe
permanently implant new memories descripting a happy exit from this life
and still on his last toes the entire archon quest magically CREATE create a selfie of the travellers and him
like although it almost fits it's still a tad bit excessive
although it falls in line with genshin plot writing in general, so honestly that's probs just how it is , a solemn act of charity (very cute image)
also caribert should never have had the ability to utilise the loom of fate, he only had remnants of it- since he never got the field tiller's eye
or sh wait the implication is that lumine is using the loom no?

I think one of the big Lore drops was how powerful Dainsleif actually is. According to Lumine he can take down the entire Abyss Order on his own if he wants too.
Thats litteraly not what she said...
@@Sacrationhe can lol
@@m4rx_tzy142 the only thing stopping him I'd his love for Lumine which might be the cause of his ultimate downfall
When I saw Caribert I had the straightest face, cuz I was doing the quest in the living room and mom was here 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I will say I didn’t like the conversation between Aether & Lumine just being deleted from both of their memories, I feel like having this genuine conversation between the two, and actually hearing the abyss sibling’s perspective on things could lead to some sort of internal conflict with the traveler. All of the information provided could lead to how the traveler acts in the future of the story. Contextually it makes sense as to why they wouldn’t remember it, but I’m still a little disappointed that the whole conversation is just forgotten, maybe it could come back somehow, but for the time being, I just feel like it wasn’t the best way to handle that
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that was a cop out
its both a fan service since 1.4v and to avoid retconning future plot, a clever move for the writers while being a frustration for the players
Stil this is kinda no cool from mihoyo knowing we are more than half done with the game it would have been cool to see like you said our traveler change perspective from this point on knowing that our abyss sibling is overwhelmed and is trying his best, well i guess thats all we gonna get until next year for 10mins of more dainslef and our siblings
yeah I fkng hate it so much, it bothers me till today. whole thing is horrible

That's why the sibling wants Traveller to finish their journey, so they can understand why they're fighting against their found family's curse, the Kaenrian curse.
genshins lore has so many crazy references and i get so confused constantly 😭😭 great video as always!
I thought Caribert was the creator of the photo as a last gift as he turned into the completed loom of fate, just like when Lumine touches Aether's head right before their meeting ends, even though she had said they couldn't touch. It would also explain why Caribert is in the photo himself.
Something to consider:
Reread Snow White and the Six Dwarfs and see the similarities between the "blind" dwarf and the "visionary".
Pointing out another discrepancy that popped up with this quest that makes me sus of the abyss sibling:
In this quest, Dain says that the sinners did nothing to help kaheri'ah when the disaster broke out, and he's gonna take revenge on them for that-- in the We will be reunited quest, though, abyss sibling states that Dain is their enemy because HE did nothing to help khaenriah during the disaster- and now we find out that they're basically siding with the visionary-- something is very off with this because it's either one or the other-- and we just went through a whole quest about fake memories
Your saying that the Abyss Sibling is probably being manipulated by the Visionary?

Something interesting with the mention of Hroptatyr being one of the names of Odin is the fact that in norse mythology, Odin hanged himself in the Yggdrasil tree in order to obtain wisdom about runes, and in the quest item Silver Twig (memento from the Sumeru Archon quest) is mentioned that in a legend, a sage hanging upside down on a tree gained knowledge on how to inscribe runes and a glimpse of the secrets of the cosmos, which increases even further the relation that both the genshin version and the mythology version have

"Size doesn't matter"
That opened a floodgate of questions regarding Minsleif's Dain preference--
🤡🤦♂️🤡🤦♂️
Vinster King is most likely Irmin. Rocking the foundations of the world most likely referring to his antics, and there was a degree of familiarity when he said it.
Yeah, in my language Dain called him "Eclipse King", so if the portuguese translator didn't commit a huge mistake, the King should be Irmin
Vinster is the Middle High German word for "dark". So Eclipse/Irmin makes sense.
Umm that's a very smart theory I can totally see it
who's the pale princess again?
If you pick Lumine, the explanation given for the flowers in her hair is that her brother must have placed them in her hair while she was asleep.
If I’m not wrong, wasn’t Rhinedottir referred to as “Flower that is not of this world” in the 3.5 Hexenzirkel quest?
Could she perhaps have either obtained the In Teyvats and used them to lure the twins in to help Khaenri’ah in some way?
Or maybe she could be from the same world as the twins and she herself is the “Flower that is not of this world”.
i love the idea of her using the flower as potential lure!!!
Dont forgor mona's prediction(since revelation is too far fetched) about kaeya saying that he will need to make an important choice in the future.
i think they kind canceled of his importance with how things are going. Seems like they planned something big but then decided to scrap that alltogether. They could've initially wanted to make a gacha system with a skin that gives extra powers like honkai and therefore, more story but as the game got bigger they realized new characters pull in more profits than that so kaeya will probably just get a cutscene or a small quest at the end.
i feel like theres many characters that might be relevant in the future, Kaeya, Childe, Albedo, Mona, Fischl... also, is no one in game going to mention how Kazuha had 2 visions for a second and stoped the attack of a god? no? i feel like that might be relevant at some point lol
but yeah, theres characters that for sure are going to get more involved in the overall story
In my opinion it's just getting started rather than ending...the amount of questions and the amount of people mentioned, where are the sinners, will dain get his revenge ,how will the traveller be able to beat all these characters after the recent fight with arle, what about travellers brother/sister, why is heavenly principles sleeping, what exactly happened in khaneriah ,what are harbingers trying to do with gnosis, and many many more
Istaroth makes sense for the photo and being preset since Caribert disappeared after that gust of wind (Istaroth being the god of time and wind, the appearance of wind in a space where time did not pass indicated that the space would soon fade)
so uhm, yeah, ya'll remember how in fma the creation of the philosopher stone is with human souls.
and the loom of fate needs a soul to be sacrificed to be created.
sooo with all the anime references that genshin uses to make, I think this is an important one.
we will probably be talking about Calibert's Mom in the next Dainsleif quest lmao
Neat analysis!
The Five Sinners have really been a point of interest for me. I'm kinda just a sucker for numbered groups like the Eleven Fatui Harbingers.
One thing interesting I've noticed, in regards to Hroptatyr:
In the Chinese description of the Mocking Mask artefact of the Pale Flame set, one of the lines reads as follows:
"既然我的才学无法与*「贤者」*比拟,没能获得上一位王者的青睐,"
which corresponds to "Since my level of learning could not compare with *the sages*, I failed to earn the favor of the previous ruler."
The neat thing is, Hroptatyr's title, 'The Wise', is listed in Chinese as「贤者」.
July is coming, it might be possible Hexencircle or 5 Sinners trailer, but could also just be Natlan promo

God damn.
This video is crazyyy i might need to re-watch it several times 😅
so, lumine beat dainslef, has the complete loom of fate by implication, then magically appears in a place where only remnants of the loom of fate; uutilising the ability to manipulate dreams, appears??
I think the implication is that she uses her loom of fate to force her way into a dying domain, meet with traveller, then jump ship
and then caribert, on the verge of death but now with access to the field tiller's eye (on lumine's body, or the complete loom of fate in general) was able to muster up a huge amount of strength as he's apparating; being able to rewrite everyone in the village's memories and create a photo in those final few minutes
-which goes to show how strong the loom of fate is, half dead with no experience in the full ver (prior experience but still) could completely psychologically manipulate to intense detail an entire village and become to reality a manifested reflection of a scene AND bring that across dimensions, and this is all from third party access
anyways, hoping shit gets real soon

22:20 it doesn’t mean they are all his brothers, it means that Vedroflnir is not only “the visionary” but also his brother. I can see why looking at one sentence ”也是我哥哥” sounds like he has multiple brothers, but when you read it all together it doesn’t mean that.
I love how Skirk says “damn, thought my master would be more well known…..what a fucking loser” 😂😂😂
the nature of genshin is every so often we look into the lore and there childe is, the chaos gremlin that he is, somehow having yet another second/third/fourth hand connection to some lore-significant figure again
What If his brother forces dain to become a weapon that'll lead the loom of fate operation, implant the machine in him (like the eye) and he becomes a boss fight we defeat and reclaim the eye and make it reweave our paths
Maybe Veldrfolnir told this prophecy to dain and that's why he is trying to stop it🤔?
I feel like I’m the only who cried at the reunion it was sooo needed but the forgetting part made it so bittersweet 😢😢

YEss i've been thinking about Pierro's role in all of this. I see some suggest he could be The Wise but to be it feels he is not on the side of the abyss and is possibly the one armed sage who fought with Dain so gim referring to those safes in the trailer makes perfect sense in my mind
Again German 😊😊 Rächer of Sulnari. A „Rächer“ is a Person who seeks vengeance and „rächen“ is the verb. „rächen“ means getting vengeance.
The Portuguese translation may not be the best in the game and they've already changed the meaning of a lot of things, but since the release of Star Rail, it seems like Hoyo actually hired someone who knew what they were doing so maybe...

What if the her is actually Paimon? There’s been theories that Paimon is a smaller, regressed version of another god like how Nahida is a child.
25:49 this question was brought up before as well, i believe in the caribert quest
THANK YOU FOR BRINGING UP THE MARY ANN QUEST
OKAY @Minsleif I put it all together (unless you already covered this ) but I think we've already seen Kanreha ik I cant spell BUT. In the “we will be reunited “ video on genshin youtube page we see the tower and bridges that we see in the login screen. And I believe while we were asleep our twin was exploring Teyvat and witness the fall of Kanreha meaning those tower and bridges in the login screen may be the “sky “ of Kanreha or Kanreha it self!!!😮😮😮
I WAS WAITING FOR THIS VIDEO THANK YOU MINSLEIF!!!
The amount of foreshadowing was CRAZZYYYYY in such a short quest like what....

1:15 the alhaitham slander is insane 😭
22:01 about the chinese text, I don't think it's implying that all 5 sinners are his relatives. the translation is basically one to one!
"但他确实也是我的血亲" has the same amount of ambiguity as "But he is also my kin", in that the use of "也是/also" could either mean:
1) The sinner in the crystal is Vedrfolnir. Additionally, Vedrfolnir is my kin, my older brother.
2) The sinners are my kin, including Vedrfolnir - my older brother.
in other words, in the same way we take the first interpretation for the English text, the Chinese text also goes the same way
Why do i only have more questions after watching this video 😭😭
