Switched to my old iPhone 11 because the S23 Ultra is such a huge phone.

I just got the S23 Ultra 9 days ago it was used with 1 small deep scratch on the left side of the screen and a bunch of micro scratches which u can't see when the screen is on and I only paid £460 for the green 512GB and so far it's been a great phone
Honestly would have gotten the S23 Ultra if T-mobile still offered it in the green but at the time i saw ir they only had purple and i'm not a purple fan, they also stopped selling it so i just decided to get the S24 Ultra in titanium gray because it sometimes looks champagne gold in certain lighting. Only complaints i have is no curved display, the lack of micro sd card support, and no headphone jack. Other than that great device dpeakers are good too but would be perfect if the bass was more present overall very solid devices anyone who gets either one will enjoy the ai features are really cool but havent had a chance to use them yet.
U will slap a case anyways

Am keeping my 23 ultra but am not sold on the camera, especially indoors with flash. main reason is the focus is not consistent.

My s22 u amd s23 ultra were almost identical in all areas and now the a24 ultra is almost the same ...i totally agree no major upgrades that can be felt while using the phones ...i liked the curved screen better ...it had zero side bezels ...
Also does not feel significantly faster in hand ...
They should have upgraded the cameras ...
I was hoping for a 200mp sensor on the 3x and a 50mp sensor on the 10x ....that would have been an upgrade ...
They will do this eventually...
S24u definitely does not feel like an uograde in any area ..and ai features just dont feel very useful as of now ....

My S23 Ultra is on 100% when I unhook it from the charger at 10pm. I then put it into power saving mode and mute sound profile for the night. I get up at 6.30 am the following morning to see my phone ALWAYS on either 98% or 99%.

I understand you but dont shit on the s24ultra its an upgrade definitely i traded my s23ultra red 512g brand new and didnt wanna do it but its worth it flat screen ,7 years of updates,faster chip bigger cooling chamber i mean im somewhat satisfied honestly my geekbench 6 scores are insane even 3d benchmark & antutu 🤷♂️ im considerable happy hey to each its own 😊

S24u is released with such a shitty December pre release build and they made us wait an entire month to roll an update which basically had vividness slider+feb sec patch nothing else

🥱 This is hands down the most overhyped and underwhelming experience I ever had for an android.
Plus what AI? Most things are cloud based and Samsung smartly marketed it as an ai phone and we all fell for it lol.
This phone has horrible zoom capabilities, many unresolved bugs in ui, shitty battery and Samsung is bragging about 7 years of updates.

It's his opinion, y'all Samsung Knights are just as bad as the Apple Mafia. And no, if you have the S23 Ultra, you won't see a huge difference as a normal consumer. As someone who is invested deep into technology, you will see a slight improvement.
So praising the S23 Ultra and saying its a better value purchase based on the used market prices you can find it for means he took a shit on the S24 Ultra? Just watch his reviews for the S24 Ultra and see his real opinions on it.
As a very satisfied S23 Ultra owner looking in, it seems to me that a lot of people are disrespecting the S24 Ultra without even using the device for some time. I certainly haven't used one, but I realize that this phone is the logical annual improvement over my 23U in so many areas and I really respect the thing.
Technology since 2015: let's keep doing the same thing and selling it under a different name.
Of course, there is no point in replacing phones/computers/TVs/GPUs etc. every generation - because it would be throwing money into the trash.

My battery has been decent, so no complaints there. I'm still dealing with my screen being discolored in an opaque overlay until I select an app. This has happened since the Android 14 update. Overall, still a really good phone and I see no reason to upgrade to the S24 Ultra. Stand down Samsung Knights 😂.
Ever since the 6.1 update battery life has been worse, I hope they can fix this issue with the next update.

Design is outdated
Samsung have hired an ex Mercedes design consultant to give the S25 series a whole new look. And about time too.
Not to me personally i love the design I just wish they'd ditch the hole punch for a pop up camera for a completely immersive viewing experience and make the rear camera completely flush in the back while i like camera housing it feels like i may break the cameras depending how i sit it.
