I'm still using the ddj T1 pioneer which I bought in 2010, I'm a bedroom DJ only and been jamming since 1990 and enjoy the controller over vinyl decks, so much more you can do on a controller
Cleveland, you the man, thanks for the review. Its my first I heard or seen about this controller. however if I can add my five cents to this controller...... The pads looks a little out of reach above the jogs on this controller...... 4 channels, can a Denon LC6000 be added on this thing?
Is Stems 2.0 only on the GRV6 for now??? Doesn't seem to show up on other controllers like FLX10, FLX4, etc. thanks for discussing this because I haven't noticed anyone else bringing it up!
@@tommygarcia8010 24fps is not laggy. If it lags something else happened. The slow mo was definitely applied after the fact so I’m aware of that. I had to shoot from my iPhone for the broll? 🤷🏾♂️
How bout giving RANE some love. A new Rane One MK 2 with a two channel motorized controller with the Performer platform and a IEC power cord. A Rev 7 KILLA!!!
Very surprised the first controller they released after the HDJ-F10 doesn’t have SonicLink built in. Maybe it’ll only be on the high end stuff for now.
They forgot to add the cinder blocks the dices at the bottom and they should add lights on the job well everyday should light up when you pushing the button
I was hoping that Alpha Thea would create a mid-range 2-channel controller to upgrade the DD 800. All they did was add a lot of things to beef up FLX6 and call it a mid-range controller. It is only 10 less than the DDJ 800. This is not worth the upgrade.
@@ClevelandTerry you know what’s it like when your busy DJing in a venue or party you don’t want to have to think about what sequence of buttons you have to press to get a filter or what ever effect your after . I’m still using my 1000-SRT with midi mapped loops so I I don’t have to press shift to change my loop length and stems on my slicer pad which is incredible, being able to mix how you want via one button is the only way ! If I had the money I’d love a performer right now .
Awesome review! Great coverage on hardware and software features, including the Pros & Cons of each.
This is a really interesting controller, hhhhmmmm. I really like how you go through the features etc. thanks CT!

DDJ T1 has some of the best layout and feeling to those jog wheel/faders/buttons I've ever used on a controller.
I’ve watched. Few reviews today and it’s made me realise that I really need to upgrade my laptop…
Excellent review!
this is a good review. the features are very interesting. it will be fun to see how djs are using them
Still loving my Flx10 and the Rev5 a close 2nd

All I wanted was an updated ddj 800
skimps on some practical features for that price...such as XLR and aux in

They are available on Rekordbox 7.04 on all devices
hey bro do you film in 24fps or slower? All your footage lags a bit. I recommend filming higher. Even your slomo is choppy. Good content though

@@dJBoog please hold. 😂
Thanks for this review, Do you need a subscription to use the stems?
@@davids9714 no
It looks fun but I will be waiting for a rev 10 or a new cdj 3000/4000 or whatever they will call the cdj.
Love the Sunset Session shirt!
Love the bells and whistles but why does it remind me of an old Atari 2600? 😂
They forgot to add the cinder blocks the dices at the bottom and they should add lights on the job well everyday should light up when you pushing the button
still no good ins & outs.
Might as wells spend a few hundred bucks more on a Rane 4?
Does stems 2.0 work with other controllers, say the flx10?
NO!!!!!!!!! What's a joke
What about the sound quality, on the specs is 24 bites and 48 khz, meantime FLX 10 is 44khz and also 24 bites. Does this sound better?
Thank you terry🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
I like it but it missing a xlr and also master led indicator light but more seems to could adjust on controller
I like it
What do I do with my flx6? Do I upgrade or move side ways? 🤷🏾
Can this be used only with usb or you need to be connected to an outlet
@@Fiycreations one of the first things I said. 😂
I don’t care about anything released by Alpha Theta until they put out a standalone w/ Rev 7 platters. 👌🏼
@@DjTecniq understandable
@@ClevelandTerry I’m confused where the hell is the master output level indicator. Did they forget to add that? 🤷🏻♂️
You do realize a stand alone will not be able to process stems?
What version of rekordbox are you using? I'm on 7.0.3 and I don't see the new options on windows 11
it's in version 7.04 I just got the update
You've got some weird frame drop issues on your vid
Didn’t roland have something like this the dj 808

So when is the GRV 10 coming out?
I think its called the Opus-Quad
@@LightestEvening when I said grv 10 I literally meant the upgrade to the flex 10 just like the grv 6 is the upgrade to the flex 6
Must be a nightmare using that thing in a dark environment. Barely any lights on the unit
@@jtm71 it’s not on. lol. It has plenty of lights.
you said stems were not serato or vdj good but closer to algoriddim
bro algoriddim have best stems out of all softwares and its not even close
As a person that has been using them extensively for the last 2 months and going back and forth with serato I’m going to disagree with you.
SRT 1000 is by far the best thing they came up with. This is a bust.
So if I want proper stems I have to downgrade to this controller I thought stems we're software-based not hardware based
Get ready to hear every top 40 song have a generic house beat🥲
Height of bullshit!
All this press ‘shift’ is a pain especially in the heat of battle , we want to DJ not remember all these routes just to apply an effect !

Great review for a totally unnecessary overpriced controller.
