In this video I restore a PlayStation 2 (PS2) slim. I started the restoration by
testing the console. The console is very dusty I was able to power it on but it was not reading games.
The PlayStation 2 (PS2) is a home video game console developed and marketed by Sony Computer Entertainment. It was first released in Japan on March 4, 2000, in North America on October 26, 2000, in Europe on November 24, 2000, and in Australia on November 30, 2000. It is the successor to the original PlayStation, as well as the second installment in the PlayStation console line-up. A sixth-generation console, it competed with Sega's Dreamcast, Nintendo's GameCube, and Microsoft's original Xbox.

the beautiful thing is that this console is at the halfway point of using lead tin. and it is also beautiful that this console starts up despite such dirt.
My first console was the ps1. But I was too young to really use it. The PS2 is where I really got into gaming. Still have both the original brick and slim I consider myself lucky they both work... My controllers on the other hand hahaha.
It's always satisfying to see consoles getting restored although I recommend showing a before and after in every thumbnail as it's a little sad seeing a damaged product although it's a suggestion BUT YOU GOT YOURSELF ANOTHER SUBSCRIBER.
idk why but this video really is satisfying to watch and i wish i knew how to repair consoles like that ;w; seems complicated and alot of patience

It gets pretty easy if you’ve been into the same console over and over. You kinda get into a groove of knowing what screws and ribbons to undo and stuff like that.

Yo compre una ps2 slim 77001 plateada y vino mas o menos en las mismas condiciones ya la limpie y desarme total mente para dejarla bien por dentro ya despues compro pintura plateada y la dejo como nueva exelente video.
Por cierto me gusta que uses carcasa original y la restaures ya que muchos solo compra una version nueva china con plasticos de baja calidad.

I have an old Ps 2 console that runs perfectly. It's over 10 years old

Ну так ты вываляй ее в пыли, перестанет. А потом помой, продуй, снова заработает. что не факт, поэтому рабочий вариант показанный в конце это было до того как он ее вывалял в пыли и мыл потом
@@killerpigszombi3382 ты из скептиков ? Я тебе как ремонтник отвечу : В два раза больше грязи бывает на консолях нового поколения, но они работают после обслуживания, хотя они менее живучие, чем PS2 или PS1. Поэтому про то , что она показана до ремонта, бред.

Uma dica pra instalar o PlayStation 2 é usando o cabo vídeo componente,mas pra isso tem que configurar o console primeiro,primeiro ligue o console sem nenhum disco vá na opção Configuração de Sistema e aperte X no controle do PS2 para confirmar,depois vá até a opção Configuração saída de vídeo e depois na opção YPbPr e depois aperte o Botão X no controle do PS2,depois saia da configuração,desligue o console e troque o cabo Av pelo Componente ligue o cabo componente no ps2 no lugar do cabo av na mesma entrada do console na entrada av multi out depois a outra ponta do cabo da tv na entrada componente da tv nas cores certas,depois ligue a tv na entrada componente usando o controle da tv e depois ligue o PS2 e depois é só jogar.

Yes you can but specialist contact spray is designed to remove residue, condensation, and dirt from electrical equipment with pinpoint precision

It is original a good machine , the pcb is no problem and the laser is a little problem .

Potřeboval bych poradit pomoct. Po zapnutí konzole se nenačte obraz. Dioda svítí mechanika se točí.. Zkoušel sem druhou televizi druhý kabel na propojení a pořád to píše že není signál. Dá se to nějak spravit? Nebo je po konzoli? Děkuji

Между радиатором и процессором не хватает термопрокладки, а так же шлейф дисковода должен быть приклеен, иначе диск будет об него тереть
