I always been a Fan of James Bond Movies since I was a Kid. Sean Connery always been my favorite Bond. But I think Daniel Craig is the Best Bond after Connery, because he look more Dramatic and deep. The new Bond character is play as a man with deep emotional demons and sorrows that he try to control and that make him more human and real as a character to me. This new Bond is sensitive went have to be, very Heroic and Brave went have to be and cold as blood went he have to be .That is why I like the new Bond so much. I made this video as a Tribute to the New James Bond movies, Mr Craig for his excellent performance as James Bond and Chris Cornell for such a perfect theme for a James Bond Movie...By the way if you happen to be a fan of the James Bond Series go to see SKYFALL ! In my Opinion one of the best James Bond Movies ever.

Yeah funny you should say that because that was my thought. This one and Goldeneye has some kind of profound Bond decadence that feels like it has everything that Bond is about. I don't understand how they recruit for the opening theme. They have all the money in the world but I think it is fitting that the best themes are by a man on the slide (Chris) and a woman at the ropes if her career and almost forgotten (Tina). They captured the Bond soul better than Madonna, Adela and all those people. Sometimes quality is more about good judgement than simply open the wallet and get the most expensive act.

But from the whole history, I would highlight this one , because if the James Bond song doesn’t cause you goosebumps than is not good . This one does. If you pay closer attention to the lyrics, you'll know which parts are her addressing him. Part of it is James talking to someone else, who's set themselves in opposition to his goals. The rest is just the general notion of being a clandestine operative, and the realities of the "prize" one gets, for successfully carrying out such an operation, and the inevitability of another person taking the last one's place, creating yet another, potential global disaster.
It's important to understand what kind of song-writer Chris Cornell is, also, when attempting to discern what is intended by the lyrics.
An example of M's address to Bond: "I've seen angels fall from blinding heights, but you, yourself, are nothing so divine.... just next in line. Arm yourself, because no one else here will save you. The odds will betray you, and I will replace you. Can't deny that the prize, it may never fulfill you. It longs to kill you. Are you willing to die?"
Then the notion of Bond's poise follows: "The coldest blood runs through my veins.... you know my name."
Like I said, if you're going to throw out what a "song is saying," it would be important if you understood the song-writer and source material a little better. You were absolutely dead wrong with your synopsis.

This song has it all. It oozes essence of Bond. There are other great themes but so often they are more about the artists singing them or the movie itself. This one is different. It goes to the heart and depth of who and James Bond is.
