@@frickenwickedaccording to Amazon and some other websites I’ve seen, it supports HDMI 2.1. It should support consoles. Keep in mind that the current consoles are capped at 120hz so getting 240hz is overkill (unless you have a PC you’re using as well, then get 240hz by all means, but if you’re solely using the monitor for your console, stick with a 120hz or 144hz monitor).

Just picked one up from Best Buy this past week, using it mainly for office purposes with MacOS. I have noticed, though, that whites look a bit grainy/fuzzy or whatever. Hard to describe.. is this normal? I’m just wondering if it’s the matte cover over the display that’s causing it.

Man, I freaking hate when LG doesn't use their own panels. Many years ago I had a Vizio TV that had a 10 bit AH-IPS that was gorgeous to look at. Specially back then. The panel was made by LG. When I decided to replace my living room TV went with LG. Thinking on the panel. When I got home, the new TV wasn't as good as the Vizio one. But it was a long drive, toll included, I needed like $65 to go back to the store. So I kept it. Eventually found out that my brand new LG TV panel was not even made by them.
Regardless of it's looks more or less the same, or even better. I don't have any nearby store to go see monitors/televisions in person. So I often rely on what I or friends/family have for reference. Or the ones I got to see when was already out. So it's annoying all the same. Samsung does this as well.
