I want to try Donna eventually too. Friend use up them Mane choice DC down there on that shelf I’m always looking at so I can see you store some other products in that spot. I use to use a conditioner but I don’t have the strength to stand in the shower any longer. I guess I might start back though then DC outside of the shower sitting down like you do. 🌻💚🌻

Great video! Love your enthusiasm and that you’re using up your stash. I admire that you’re doing a silicone week. I’m introducing them to my routine to try to retain moisture and seal my ends. I feel you on having silicone in the deep conditioner though. I’m much more comfortable with it in a leave in or cream.

The Eden Body Works coconut cleansing cowash is my absolute fav!!
I use to swear by the As I Am original BUT this one is by far the most cleansing & moisturizing!
I’ve given Soultanicles so many chances but my hair just doesn’t like them 😩

I LOVE a good rinse out! BUT…
They are absolutely pointless before deep conditioning…
You are definitely wasting the DC by applying it right after a RO bc it does not penetrate the strands like it’s supposed to… rinse outs are formulated to fill in the cuticles … so if you are using them to “detangle”, do it before you shampoo so that the DC can do it’s job after!

So I’ve actually heard about this method before and I actually usually do it after my protein week. However, for me, I think my conditioners work better before deep conditioning. My hair is extremely tangle prone and if I just go straight from shampoo to deep conditioner, I end up using way more than I intend to. At least with my hair, I’ve noticed that if it’s a good deep conditioner, it’ll still do its job.
