Hi, Mink! I haven't ever tried the coconut & hibiscus curl & shine shampoo or hair-masque from Shea Moisture. However, I do have a bit of an interest in trying that line's curl-enhancing smoothie. But, I'm somewhat hesitant because Shea Moisture has been mostly a miss rather than a hit for me, which is a huge reason why I haven't picked up any of its products in years. So, I definitely will be checking out that UA-cam-short that you will be doing on the curl-enhancing smoothie to determine if I'm going to add it to my list of natural hair-care products to try.

First 🙌🏿👍🏿❤️ I get what you mean with the SM shampoos---I've used the JBCO shampoo on and off for years, but they are definitely on the runny side. I prefer either the standard bottle package vs the tube package bc there's more control. I may actually grab the huge bottle finally since that has a pump. From what I remember, the curl and shine line has never been a true favorite for me. The JBCO ans raw shea butter lines , I have better and consistent results

One thing that you’ll always do is put us on to a new product & how to use it. Excited to see you use these up this year…or trash them lol

Looking forward to all of the videos this coming year!! Using up the rest of my Henna Sooq & CurlyProverbs Ayurveda powders and a few leave ins from As I Am pomegranate line up from 2023. I definitely feel like there comes a point in time to start using up products but I’m not one to wait to use products up before buying new ones 🤷🏾‍♀️

Its so therapeutic to use up products ❤ one on my list is the Creme of Nature Styling Snot (not a great name 😂😂 but im determined to use it up this year FINALLY). It gives really strong hold , so truly a little goes a long way,which is why its tsken me so long to use it up----like years 😂😂. Another is also from The Mane Choice, their daily Hair Dressing (its like a shea butter/hair grease texture). I actually have a journal where I keep track of hair products I feel I have to have in my routine (along with a few alternatives in case of formula changes or if something is discontinued), but I gotta get my stash down to something more workable yet accessible

The African Pride Leave In Cream does not work for my hair kept on getting product flakes because of the dimethicone.

Happy New Year Chica!!! 🎉🥳🍾 I actually use the Tropical Moringa Sealing Cream with a leave as kind of like an actual moisture sealant before gel.. if that makes sense.. 😩😂 I used it as a leave in alone & felt like the moisture didn’t last but when I use it in conjunction with a leave in I love it!

Hey Mink! Happy New Year. I have the sealing cream for the Tropical Moringa line and I have no idea how to use it. I've had it forever and just don't reach for it. I think I used it once for a leave-in, years ago, and didn't quite like it for a leave-in and haven't picked it up since. If you find a way to use it, let me know or it'll be going in the giveaway/throw away pile. I picked up the Just For Me Gel the last time I saw you use it and haven't broken into it yet. I didn't even know there was a gel until you brought it to my attention. I'll pull it out as soon as I can find a leave-in I want to use with it. I have a Maui Gel and haven't used it for the same reason...no longer available. Not sure if I want to film it if no one can get it. I still need to finish up my Cantu Mega Hold Gel, too! Happy New Year. I love those Mane choice gels. So sad that they are no longer available. I have not had much success with Alikay Naturals. I tried the Leo grass line and it made ,y hair hard. I like the black soap shampoo very moisturizing indeed but I don’t care for the smell. They have a brown colored deep conditioner, sage and something, that’s ok but again I don’t like the smell. You have a lot of stash to use up. Wishing you the best of luck using up your stash 😊

Yeah when you were applying it, it seemed to me like it’s not a level 10 hold it seemed lighter even when you showed us initially how much you were using. You’re actually the first person I’ve seen even talk about this gel. I’m not a wash and girl girlie or use gels in my routine but i just watching product review videos. Your wet hair looked so shiny!!

How long did it end up lasting for you?

We love a good empties!! Girl I have SO many empties sitting here I need to go head and film before EOY. 😅 a bunch of scrubs. The Dr teal’s Himalayan salt has been my go to!! You had me weak talking about “I wiped this jar clean…BUT would I repurchase? NAH” 😂😂😂

I’m exacted to try Pattern I got the transition as well as the barrier breakage mask during BF. They both sound like protein conditioners. That product really was giving wash n go. Wow! I started watching your videos because of the hair content but what made me subscribe was how relatable you are and you seem so easy going and just genuine.
