I just got the HSGI taco tourniquet holder and it sucks. It was almost $40! I am sending it back and getting this condor setup. I have the condor recon chest rig and hydration system attached to it. I also have their med kit and gear pouch. They have really upped their game on their products. Thanks for this review though! Helped me make my decision.
I had a Condor mag pouch a couple years back, they claimed could be mounted vertical or horizontal. The only thing I could figure out was, it could be mounted on a belt horizontal, thru the loop on the back. I have seen people run their TQ pouch upside down on a shoulder strap or front of a plate carrier, making for a faster - more ergonomically friendly reach, when needed. I like the looks of your kydex holders and want to give them a try sometime. Thanks for the video.
zip ties! works well for me :) i used 4. just completely open to tourniquet lay it flat and wrap it with zip ties be sure to crease the ends opposite of the locking mechanism for the zip tie. C crease the end flat with a set of pliers so it stays in a fixed position. good luck ....
Hey man, what are your thoughts on which side you should carry your tourniquets in your rig? Figured it might be similar to a blow out kits, where having it on your back might be bad if you were to get laid down due to serious trauma and make it harder to access the materials rather than it being on sides or in front. Also, don't know if you've ever done this, but don't see many "Top 10 Medical Equipment Items To Have" type videos out there. While it might seem straight forward to some, would still be awesome to hear you cover what you consider the most vital medical components to have. Thanks for the vid!
+ZyPhReX You should be able to reach your TQ with either hand where ever it is at. No I have not done a top 10 but that sounds like a great video idea.
I was beginning to make a basic kit for my range bag. Do you need special training to apply a tourniquet, where could I get it? Also when is it advisable to use a tourniquet on a person?
Hey skinny medic I saw you at the wrangler star meet and great and saw you recording some footage are you gonna make a video about it I would love to see it
A lot of the guys I work with and shoot with run it up on their non-dominant shoulder because it keeps it up out of the dirt and it's a very visible up there
Don't worry about the rooster in the background. Those of us who are prepper/preparedness types understand that those sounds are part of the natural background noise. Roosters crowing, ducks quacking, dogs barking, it's all good.
What does that mean? Just ordered a sof t wide and am looking for the best quick deploy pouch. Having some trouble due to the width. Dont want any clips on the pouch, have had some suggest a flashbang pouch.
LinkxUSMC87 just look up how to flat pack whatever TQ you buy and I use a Tactical Tailor tourniquet pouch, works great. I actually pulled the Velcro off of the front flap of mine just so it looks cleaner on my duty rig
Can anyone tell me why Americans pronounce Tourniquet wrong? It’s pronounced “taw-nuh-kay”. What doesn’t make sense, is Americans use the French pronunciation of the word fillet as “fil-lay”, but seem to have just made up how to say tourniquet 🤷♂️.
Thumbs way up : )

Short malice clips would work for the horizontal setup. How it is doesn’t look like it will weave horizontally.

+Richard Massey They contacted me and said it can only be mounted at the 12 or 6 o'clock. Must have been a typo on their website.
has anyone tried to pack shears in with it?

How does it fit your radio you have there?
To mount things horizontal, or in 45°, i use bootlace.
looking forward to the CAT folding video

Where do I get this speed stick?
if you install Blackhawk speed clips, you can run your tourniquet holster horizontally by weaving it through the vertical clips
