Thank you Siren. This is gorgeous! Yarn under is correct on the cord. You're wrapping in the opposite direction compared to the yarn over for the working yarn.

My hat is now completed and it is absolutely gorgeous.
I am now watching your tutorial on how you make the flat chord I have made cords before but this is a much simpler way although how much tale you leave is a little iffy. I do want to say though in this video as you are showing how to do it the winding the yarn the captions is somewate right in front of your work. So maybe next time keeping your hands up higher would help the new person. Thank you again for making such a wonderful hat and cording . I will be looking forward to you following your patterns

I finished it!! 😊 THANK YOU - I made it in a cotton yarn so it’s much floppier than your one so I’m going to add a button to flip up the brim if I need to.
I'm thinking of making it in cotton as well.. but, does it fall on your face? Or does it hold a bit?
Engy Mohamed it holds a bit but not as stiff as Sirin’s. It does keep the sun out of my eyes and my head cool though 😊👍

Very nice hat. I am making it out of cotton yarn and it's coming out well. When you sc around the edge going backwards it is called the crab stitch.

Your hat is really cute. I am making it as we go. The only thing is😅l wish you would say witch round/or row you are doing. Because when I have to go back and it all sounds the same I can't tell which round you're on for sure you have to listen to it over and over and over otherwise it is a gorgeous hat and I love it thank you for making the time to show us I'm going to make another one after this in a different color but I did use yarn cuz I didn't have that type of yarn you have

I love this hat and plan to make it! ❤ I have a question about the yarn weight. In the video, you mention category 3 yarn but in my country there is only diameter on the label. Should I use 2 mm or 4 mm diameter jute yarn for this project? Thank you so much!

if it curls up perhaps you can let it go and then just work upside down
