What's absolutely wild about that is nobody thinks what that must've been like for him. He was 33 in 2013 and had the vision to buy some teenagers playing video games a place to stay to follow their dreams. He truly is a king for that. He must've at some point thought to himself "what the fuck am I doing". On top of that without him there wouldn't be a 100 thieves.

I dare say scump is a large part of the reason why eSports is so mainstream today. Him, Nade, all the OGs took Optic to heights people never could've imagined. They changed the entire content scene too. I know him and Nade had their differences but he couldn't have asked for a better person to pick up the torch when he left. 16:15, its insane just how much what hector and the optic guys did for the gaming scene as a whole that really impacted the future of gaming as we know it. The thing that they created has now been replicated by every organization and really set the formula for what a esports player should be doing. Nobody back then really made me latch onto their organization like optic did, and even to this day I haven't really been a fan of a team in that same way. The personalities we had back then were truly special. I've tried to watch other teams from other games, and no personalities or organization has been able to really turn me into a diehard fan like optic did. I use to watch every tournament and even some of the rivals like complexity and faze at that time because all the personalities were just so special. Can't say enough good things about the greenwall and the community hector, nadeshot, scump, big T and so many more built. Truly something I've personally never really seen replicated. I was a Halo player ever since Halo 2, but as a little kid I found this red haired kid that made me love watching competitive cod on UA-cam, I’ve grown with him, it’s crazy how attached you can become to someone you’ve never met.

There is not a single more legendary gaming based video on youtube or anywhere ever made. This video is single handedly the greatest video of all time. Its literally a timeline of a goat, a champ, its insane. Hes just a kid. Now more grown, things change. Wonder how these guys will look in the future.

Thank you scump, and all of OpTic gaming. So many memories. I remember watching the sniper montages as a kid and looking up to you guys. Im 27 and grew up with you. I went through the sniping "faze" and always wanted to be like you guys. I even was one of the early fan boys with OpTic in their name 🤦‍♂️. Predator and grizz made me a fan. It's incredible the organization you've built H3CZ. I've always been a competitive fan, started in gamebattles, but wasn't good enough. All though I've followed you guys through it all and I really appreciate it. You hate to see scump retire. Much love

Man... when he first announced this was his last season to dropping his retirement video in his kitchen to now reliving all his memories throughout his career.. It always just hits sooo deep... I catch myself with tears falling down my face remembering where I was in those times... I didn't catch competitive COD until BO2, but I was a kid wanting to be like Seth and falling in love with OpTic competitively and with their content. I knew I had a passion for gaming and still do, but I didn't think I'd be as touched by an individuals career as much as Seth's. Don't be sad that it's over.. be happy because it happened :')

What a legend. one of the best content pieces to come out recently. the shots of Hecz peeking around the curtain like a proud papa.. man, that moment might be iconic of his care for his org and the people in it. In the end I just hope it’s what truly made Seth happy. Cause decisions like this, it is really all on them to feel. Yes, as fans we can feel but it is nothing compared to what they feel. And Seth is a human being first and foremost. So his feelings matter. All love to Seth on this one man ♥️
