I have been watching seth since black ops 2 we are both the same age. If this is true it will be a sad day in COD. He literally is the reason I watch and have been for so long. OpTic fan all day though and still will be no matter what he decides to do. I know content will be more fun with him in it. Wish him all the best in what he choose to do!!

It’s amazing to be here witnessing Scump still do his thing. Him and Nade were 100% the reason I got into competitive CoD and to see them both doing their thing in different ways is undeniably GOATED. Been watching since 2012 and I’m going to continue as long as I’m here. 💚

I want all of the OpTic players and staff to know, at least for me and I'm sure many others in the GreenWall, that we don't want you to deliver us the world and win for us so we can go home happy and enjoy the bragging rights. Nah because we want to see you all succeed for yourselves, that's where my joy in supporting OpTic comes from. By delivering us the entertainment and lasting memories across two different mediums between content and competition (for YEARS), we just want to see those competitors happy that their work has paid off. And the easiest metric for them to see what they've earned back in their effort is through winning. I'm cool with OpTic winning champs, but I'm fucking pumped to see Scump, illey, Shotzzy get another ring, and Dashy his first.

I’m not gonna lie scump, I’ve been a fan of your since the beginning. I just turned 30 in July. I’ve sat at home for the last 10 years and EVERY tournament you’ve been in I’ve screamed my heart out and almost lost my voice for you and for the green wall. What you’ve done for this community ABSOLUTELY NO ONE will EVER ACHIEVE. From the bottom of my heart, I absolutely love watching you play cod. I love the ups and downs that come with it. I love how hard you try and we as the green wall, thank you for your passion, and love for the game. I will ALWAYS be a fan, I will always love the energy and the personality you bring with you in anything you do. I personally, wanna say thank you for all the videos, the streams, and everything you’ve done. Whenever I was sad, bullied, or felt alone I always knew I could turn to your channel, tune into your stream, or anything you/optic were working on and you’d make me feel better and forget the bad shit. You’ve help me, and you’ve help a lot of the green wall more then you will ever know. Again, thank you for what you do. I can’t wait to see your future, what do you with your life after cod, and as a true non toxic green wall fan, WIN or LOSE… I will always be apart of the green wall. Scump is truly a once in a generation kind of player , he’s got the talent , personality and the ability to not just compete in COD for this long at the top level but Content as well, he really is just the complete package. I’m gonna be watching this guys content until he calls it quits.

He did slack hard on content. So imo he is overrated in that regard. Dont get me wrong during bo2 and ghosts maybe even aw i think scump was uploading like crazy. I dont remember when he started slacking. The only part about his content that didnt slack are his viewers.
I used to be watching lots of scump. I always missed the hours long scrim videos like during mw3. So i aint no hater just someone who considers being inconsistant not commandable. Regardless the dude is nice. I think its sad his uploads and content didnt stay on par with the past. I guess it might be due to optic and competition. I mean content used to be very raw then at one point they stopped saying certain things stopped being open like they used too etc. I guess its this day and age were you lose income for speaking your mind and such. Or you receive tons of hate. Anyway wish him the best and you 2 a good day.

Listen man, Seth has been my inspiration since the moment I first saw him. Back in the Black Ops 2 days, I didn't watch competitive until AW came out but during the BO2 days I still watched his videos.
The day the decision is made I just know that a new life is awaiting Scump in the world of video games. He won't be held down by scrims, he won't be under pressure by anyone anymore and he will be almost in the position to become bigger then he ever became while being a streamer and content creator for OpTic and himself.
I know for a good fact that I will be crying the day it comes. COD and the world of competitive Esports as a whole will lose one of its staples currently and I will miss the moments of him competing. There have never been anymore more great experiences to witness then those.
Seth, I love you man you have been the goat, the king since the beginning. I will follow you till the day I die. You are still my inspiration and I hope you know that. I hope you can still give us some more but at the end of the day regardless of what happens at champs, you are still OpTic and you are still Seth Scumpii Abner!🙏💚👑

I 100% agree that the people who would cheer you on, but turn their back on you when losing. Never really understood how over time, the game movement became really challenging on the players. And the overall competetivness of the sport itself kept getting more and more challenging. To see Scump and OpTic battle through the hard times in the past and producing the best content for a esports team period and overall staying consistant. Is such huge motivation to the real OpTic fans who understood the challenges and never turned their back. Scump has been one of the greatest Cod players of all time to watch over the years. The time will come when he chooses to hang up the hat and quit competing, which will be difficult for a while. The impact that he has had on the industry and the league is monumental. Hopefully he chooses to stick around for maybe a couple more seasons depending on the next game. But after hearing about his hands struggling after scrims, it sucks that the idea of retirement can be seen in the distant future. Doesn’t mean he can’t kick ass on Cod because he has been awesome this year :)

Well, it is a serious video that is sponsored by Oakley. Hecz isn't gonna interrupt him when speaking, that's just rude. Also, hecz is in a suit. Hey Scump, 29 year old x D1 baseball player here and fan that has been watching you for over 10 years of my life…Appreciate your mindset, work ethic, and competitiveness that you give every single year. I rarely comment and feel somewhat guilty for that but know that you are appreciated not for the many W’s you’ve gotten (although those have been fun) but for the effort, talents, and love you have for what you do. Go out there at champs and have fun with the squad…not too many years left so live in the moment! Appreciate you and go Optic!

Scump has a few years ahead of him in the league is my guess, but when he retires, I'm assuming he moves to more content/streams, so COD may actually benefit from it. The CDL specifically will take a massive hit, but for COD/WZ overall it would be a good thing.
