Mapimpi finally high fived someone 😂🔥
That Hendrikse pass at 1:40 is just filthy😤🤬
He makes it look easy
Disgusting!
Despicable. Noone should be able to get away with that at this level, so impressive
he even looks, when there was no time for a 'look'
Can't wait to see that move in the world cup next year. Our boys are looking deadly
Esterhuizens always welcome in the Shark tank. Man...Can he play 👍🇿🇦
Sorry mate!! 😉
My Lord Mapimpi is a joy to watch.
Wow! That last try was a bit tasty!! Well done, from a Quins man.
much respect to you from this Sharks fan. Great game of rugby
It was amazing having Quins in our backyard. What a pleasure.
Amazing, highlights immediately after the game. Supersport would've waited till tomorrow.
Absolutely agree. I noticed with fifa you also have to wait like 48 hours. Goodness watching this replay really made my day. Love from a Stormer
Yeah the game is still not available
For some reason theyve also done the highlights already but they made it unlisted and you have to go through their article ohhh....

Sharks! Yes! What a show of character. Not long ago, they'd have lost that match.
Mapimpi's first try was unbelievable. Guy had no business just carving through the middle like this. What an absolute legend.
That pass from Hendrikse to give Mapimpi his second try was incredible 🦈
After getting a Yellow card and a Red Card, the Sharks not only held on, but managed to score the last try, absolutely brilliant!!
But they nearly threw away a very easy win by two players getting themselves sent off. Looked like a great game, but got to improve discipline
Harlequins arent great though

What do you think about the Springboks joining the Six Nations.. I think it would be a breath of fresh air. Mouth watering clashes that would play out

That Werner Koch try was crazy
2nd replay I have watched today. 2nd ridiculous red card....I loved rugby.....
Unbelievable effort sharks. something has to give with these head contact calls. That was a 50/50 clash of heads and most teams would have collapsed after that red card.
Bravo les Shark
Some of those sharks tries 🚀🚀🚀
How was Nche’s tackle a red card? Absolutely ridiculous.
Like all black tana umaga said,"we are not playing tiddly winks"lol.no malice in that tackle.absolute bollocks that red card.the woke and PC crowd will b pleased tho.🤣🤣🤣
because these days head contact is a red card, it is written right there for you. HEAD CONTACT IS A RED CARD. It can be reduced to yellow in certain circumstances, eg, if the attacking player drops his head just before contact, but with no mitigation, it is a red card. It is not that difficult to understand, tackler MUST get lower.
@@steamcarephuket707 There was no contact with the head. Red card was incorrect, replays were conclusive, therefore the referee must have had an ulterior motive for sending Nche off. Bullshit decision.
Ref called Eben "Bakkies" 🤣🤣🤣🤌

What a performance by the Sharks especially considering that they played with a man less. The tries from Werner Kok & Mapimpi were superb.
The last try was good.

Banana boys?

@@trixietripodi688 that's interesting, never knew that
Well done to the Cell C Stormers.
That Ox Nche dubious red card sums up the direction world Rugby is going, that is NOT a red card in the 150 plus years of rugby, but in the last 2 years it is.
It's got nothing to do with player safety either, the upcoming world cup is gonna be like the FIFA 2002 world cup when it comes to match fixing and rigging games.
Agree! As soon as the red card was given I had to stop the video to see the replies. If I were a professional player I would gou out to get hit in the head then our team would be unbeatable! By no means am I ignoring player safety, but its not as black or white as the rule book/world rugby would suggest.
Dementia and Alzheimers
I'm a quins fan and that is never a red
Today's elite rugby is a different game, played by different specimens, than anything that happened previously. Players are routinely collecting minor brain damage that becomes increasingly apparent later in life.
Spectators whinge about rule changes "killing the game", but if the IRB were to do nothing in the face of the evidence that's facing them, a class-action lawsuit will literally kill the game.
@@westasleep tackles should be below the chest but World Rugby's supposed attempt is just opening the game up to scrutiny.
These red cards are killing the game
Yup. Have they considered sending that player off for the rest of the match but yo can replace after 10min with another? That red today was just so random and hardly malicious, as have been many others. Why pay money to go to a stadium and watch when that can happen ruining a good contest.
@@brianboyle2681 Bloody sad. At some point, something has to change, and every year players are playing more matches and tournaments, to feed the machine, while the game is being dumbed down to protect these players and the growing revenue streams.
At some point the bow will break and folks just wont damn well bother anymore.
Blue collar workers paying hard earned top dollar to go watch their team play, only to have them neutered in the first few minutes of the 80 by some arbitrary rule or interpretation of a rule doesn't sit well. Not speaking about this game specifically, just generally.
High tackle but very good jackal
Well all South African teams are doing good so far
Notshe keep showing them how we play rugby here in the eastern cape bra ,always looking to offload and using your brain instead of bashing into people all day
Well played Sharks..well tried Quinns ..
How on earth is that a red card
Yeah, honestly - they have to review the card system.
That was a good tackle and steal. Crazy
They are going to kill the world cup with these decisions
If your team is losing just run into a player and make sure you hit your head on them. Even if they are standing still. They get a red card.
Looks like SA must practise 13 man rugby in this red card lottery ! Nice rugby enjoyed it , well done !
Where are the Quins traditional jersey?
That red card tho?
All these red cards now are ridiculous. Ox literally just performed a text book tackle as the charging opponent began to lose his footing. Barely any contact and it’s a red? Come on.
The views on this video is significantly more than any other championscup game of the weekend. Any thoughts on why?
Sharks have a big fan base
Even the Bulls highlights are the second most watched.
Hey guys
The incident with OX, is that a new rule? Im not a referee, but would like tho understand the rules... my goodness...OX redefine the term running into an brick wall.. but why was it red?
there was head to head contact( intentional or not) at the tackle. the onus is on the tackler to adjust to avoid head contact. the rule came about due to a proven high risk of brain damage to players that take constant knocks to the head. most fans hate the rule...most players agree that the rule needs to be applied for their own safety...its why Siya and Ox did not argue.
@@africankat1 intention should matter.
An attacking player trips, falls and his head hits the defending player's knee. Defending player gets carded.
Safety is important but this is just getting silly, will keep ruining games and also be exploited.
@@africankat1 thanks bud, yea that makes sense. It sounds quite simular to whats happening with American football. They made a episode on south park called sarcastaball, targeting the issue with crazy rules in a contact sport. Great game but how did the quiens not score with 2 off the pitch well played sharks
They did score. They scored 2 tries with 2 off the pitch and 1 try with 1 off the pitch
All 16 Sharks played well! Was good to see Andre back in Durban. 😂
Quins were good against 13 men : )
Have to say it's disappointing to see not many in the stadium
It will get better, the level of rugby is high it will draw a crowd soon
It just looks worse cause its a big stadium
I was at the game, the atmosphere was really good, u can't see but 75% of the crowd are on the other side of the field were the camera doesn't pick it up
Yeah, 80% of the crowd was on the camera side of the stadium.
Almost 13 000, which would be near a full stadium at Harlequins. SA stadia are 50k+ in size so even a decent crowd looks small.
Red, how?
Never a red what a joke 😂
These red cards are killing the game.
South African teams in the championship league,so if a South African team wins the competition they'll be crowded European champion's (euro_afro champs)very interesting
Sort of like how there’s a team called the British and Irish lions but there’s no such thing as a British or an Irish lion.
3:51 this rule used in this manner is going to kill rugby.
Lawsuits and scared parents will kill rugby unless they can find a version of the sport that produces fewer head injuries. I'm sympathetic to the IRB in that absolutely had to make drastic changes.
Right now, it seems like this set of changes is not working - the tackle technique hasn't changed, teams treat these red cards as a cost of doing business, and train on how to cope with 14 (or 13) vs 15.
@@westasleep Players should have a compulsory class to explain the dangers of playing prolonged professional rugby.
Once attended, if they continue to play, they have to accept that they are using and damaging their bodies for a career they love. Boxers and other fighters come to terms with these dangers.
If the players are made very aware of the risks involved doing something dangerous (rugby), even with the strict laws in place (accidents will always happen) ... how can they have grounds to sue? It is like base jumping and ignoring the fact that it is very risky, despite being rewarding for those who do it.
Rugby is an extreme sport. And players suing something that has given them extreme financial gain, and fame...while seeing those get injured and concussed around them, how can they play dumb and say "I didn't know"? They saw it first hand.

Some good dominance from the Sharks for a lot of it. Suspect this game and other SA games will come up for the so called ref analysts channels. Also red card was skipped over and why is some of harlequins team missing? Anyway we'll done Sharks.
Ryan wearing we see u
As former rugby professional players pointed out, South African franchises are far more stronger than any European club. It is not a surprise that only Irish franchises, that build-up players can stand up and achieve some victory. The Cell C Sharks are supported by government , Harlequins are a private- owned club that relies only on his own money and on the youth rugby school of the city in order to drag some young players. Maximum respect, but it is unfair that SA play with European clubs. It is like, in soccer, brasilian top teams play in Portugal Championship...

With all the rubbish TMO interference there is why wouldn't that be checked?
What's wrong with it?
@@dimitardobrev3296 when does he ground it?
When you ground the ball at the base of the cushion on the post that also counts as a try, rarely comes up but its a legit way to score
@@ivanbarkhuizen8539 12 May 2020 -Players will no longer be able to score a try by grounding the ball against the base of the post protectors following a law change announced by World Rugby with immediate effect. Previously a player was awarded a try when he touched the ball down against the bottom of a ‘post’ where the padding and the ground met.
It’s a sensible decision from rugby union’s governing body that will remove from the game an anomaly in terms of fairness that significantly favoured the attacking side.
Teams defending their goal-line were at a significant disadvantage legally as players were obliged to stay behind the goal-line and with chunky post protectors very much in vogue - for obvious player welfare reasons - it was becoming increasingly difficult for teams to legally defend this area, as they had to come out and around the pads.

Red card was a joke
South Africa is not Europe. A bit like Australia in the Eurovision song contest, it’s stupid.
What next? The winners of the Copa Libertadores to join the expanded UEFA Champions League…
50 South african players in English premier... 21 in French top 14...20 in Japan top league. Lots in American top league. Even a few in the URC
Ox cited and suspended for 3 week for a "dangerous" tackle is pathetic. I see 2+2=5 for the law makers. If that is dangerous, any tackle is dangerous so we need to play touch.
Red card was a joke.
Red card is really pathetic and at the end the right team came out winners.
That red card call was pathetic

Tappe Henning jy Moet begin om jou skeitsregters begin leer om hoe werk die menslikke ligam

World Rugby and the URC need to wake up and get things sorted out
No ways red card! But okay, bend and send
Pathetic red card
The laws are not doing the game any favors, sorry. All players go in low and head contact will happen. How can you give red cards for it when the intention is to defend and hurt? Fact makes the game more dangerous, because how can 13 men play against 15 and you call it safe? Yellow should be as in football. After 2 yellows for a team, red. But, the red card player must be replaced. there must always be 30 players on the field. 8 Players on the bench, but only 5 strategic replacements allowed per team. The red card makes it 4 left. Injured players must be replaced and does not count as part of the 5. The front row must have professionals doing the job.
so ridiculous to have sa teams in champions cup
Il cartellino rosso è pura idiozia
What bs laws earned the sharks a red and yellow? This FIFA crap will start making these games as farcical and unwatchable. Great rugby by both teams, inspite of the officiating...

Last try was brilliant! Andre had a good game
Even more upsetting is I've start to see players rolling around trying to get a card call. We cannot let the sport become football
@@wills2736 seen the same, and its all World Rugby fault. They are making the whistle everything about the game. Watched a full tri nations game from a few years ago the other day. Our Saffa refs and TMOs are the worst 🦈🇿🇦
Le carton rouge il y a rien le joueur glisse en plus il le ceinture au niveau du buste c'est sa tête qui heurte la poitrine du pilier sud africain
There are some other things to point out. Rugby is a very hard physical sport, like Boxe, in which African coloured men ( and women) are better suited than Caucasians. It is unfair that South African franchises, that are made up of mainly super- gym- Black Africans, are allowed to play against a team composed of Whites. I think that it should exist a "Rugby White Championship" and a "Rugby Coloured Championship", because it is impossible that whites can compete, in rugby, with Blacks. Before 1995 South African national team did not win World Cups, in 1995, with many Blacks such as Brian Habana, they won against New Zealand
I stopped watching at 3:40....Yet another invalid red card
Such a soft red card. The game is getting ridicules with cards. It’s ruining the contest
That red card was so unnecessary
I think those are the worst cards I've seen.
The best player for the sharks was without doubt the ref, so many forward passes were ignored it was more like football match.

@@certifiedbiker580 Agree
Unlucky red card.
The world cup is going to be a disaster with these kak rules world rugby implemented
I keep seeing people complain about the red cards given for head contact, whether you agree with the law or not isn't the point, that is the law and if you hit someone in the head and there are no mitigating circumstances then the ref has to give a red card , the answer is simple learn to tackle lower it isn't as if this hasn't been the law for sometime now. Good game though.
Current interpretation is bonkers. Attacking player can trip, fall/duck and hit his head on the defender's boot laces and then the ref will rule the defender should have avoided contact with the head.
If World Rugby truly wanted a change it should have lowered tackle height to at least below the chest.
Still head contact will be inevitable, thus intent needs to be considered.
Or changed the ridiculous law killing the Game just read the comments and it’s clear that’s exactly what I’d happening
@@coatknight Simply incorrect, you may not agree with the current law however it states clearly what constitutes foul play, you should read it and educate yourself instead of writing incorrect interpretations of what constitutes foul play.

Stadiums are all empty. Sharks were empty, Lions were empty, even 7s were empty. Clubs are going bankrupt and closing down. Because we don't ever get fair matches anymore. Every game now has cards and over officiating that ruins the match. We are watching the collapse of a sport in front of our very own eyes.
Really? The game seems to me to be getting more exciting and interesting! I suppose we'll see if rugby thrives or if you're right it will disappear completely very soon..
The Sharks had 12k attendance. That’s more than the Harlequins can fit in their stadium. And the Bulls’ turnout is looking lekker, but yeah the Lions was disappointing. Alas it’s becoming a recurring theme in Joburg.
