He is both 14 and 74 at the same time and it creates this weird blend of super childish old people humour that just works.
James is like a character that escaped from a fever dream.
I love that James and Greg's relationship on this show was pure misbehaving student and teacher
I don't care who you are, that box of confetti hitting Alex on the back of the head is the peak of comedy
That sudden outburst to Greg, and Greg being a teacher is always funny no matter what
The fact he had an hour, found a random guy with a santa costume, fireworks and Richard Osman is great...
The pure shock on James face after saying “ah just open the box you pussy”, then his immediate regret, while never fail to make me cry laughing
If his version of GTA was a full game I'd buy it in a heartbeat
My favorite part of the Greg scolding James moment, is Alex’s desperate attempt, for a brief moment at the beginning, to keep Greg from beating James on camera lol
I laughed so hard at "My eyes are circles", he's just too smart for his own good.
Richard Osman announcing his own name like he’s a Pokemon absolutely sends me every time
"My eyes are circles" made me fall in love.
The best way for me to describe James Acaster is "abstract"
My favorite thing about James that series was the little call backs he did as a genuine fan of the show.
My favorite James moment is when he says "I know it's early days...are we the stupidest so far?"
The amount of confidence in Greg’s face when James says he couldn’t hold him upside down is inspiring 😂
I can’t stop pissing myself when he says “yeah…..but that’s the real task”
I love James but my heart breaks when Alex asks why he doesn't say hello to him 😂
Over my shoulder is a low-key banger.
I love the idea of Greg as James’s long suffering and patient dad
