Why, for the 2025 model, Honda still can't figure out how to get a spare tire in that vehicle? I think when car companies do this, they are really cheating the consumer. Great video.
Need room for that battery. If you require a full sized spare? Cargo storage is adequate to fit one back there. Otherwise, there's a tire repair kit with an air compressor or 24HR Roadside Assistance.
I own a 2024 Sport Touring with 23K trouble-free miles. Love it, the best vehicle I've owned. Drives like a luxury vehicle, and the safety features are awesome. Adaptive cruise control in heavy traffic is a game changer for me. My only complaint is no 360 degree camera and in colder climates the use of the defroster and heat eat into the MPG. 28-34MPG in the winter and 36-40MPG in the summer.
@Gopinathk17 we've got the recall notice but they don't have the parts yet. So far so good. No issues, but ours was built in August of 2023 in Ohio. One of the earliest ones off the line in 2023. We might have avoided the issue. I still check to smell for gas and the steering seems just as good as when we first bought it. A word of advice about winter driving, use the heated seats and the heated steering wheel and keep the temp around 76-78. I'm seeing 34 plus MPG but my climate is the PNW.
@@trollbot3728 Ohh Mine is 2025 model and I recently bought it. Do I need to observe the gas smell? Inside the cabin or outside? Yes, I'm using heated seats and defrost sometimes, no heated steering for me (mine is sport-L trim) and never put the heat more than 75° but still the mpgs are not touching beyond 27-28 at max. Maybe I need to drive more to see the accurate mpgs.
California plates???? Anyway really good video. Suggestions try to not have puddles under the car during glamor shots! Do like the photography in general though and good narrative.
I’m puzzled why Honda doesn’t offer a choice of either chrome or the black alloy wheels. I’m not a fan of the black ones and I wonder if others have ever mentioned it. Thanks for your video.
@@txGarage Thanks! We took a 2025 CR V Sport Touring hybrid for a test drive. When restarting it at our home I noticed a shudder before it started twice. The salesman told me it could be the auto restart system. I hadn’t noticed the auto restart system at all during the test drive. Thanks for your reply.
I recently switched from Rav4 hybrid to CRV hybrid. CRV is definitely driving much smoother and quieter. But Rav4 is a bit more powerful and much efficient in my observation. Also, the interiors are better and adaptive cruise control/lane assist works the best in CRV compared to Rav. But recalls, no spare tire and no HondaLink support for remote start etc.. in lower trims is a bummer in CRV.
Can someone please explain if there is a way to lock the car and not have to carry the fob with you? So you literally cannot do an outdoor activity without carrying the fob. Such a short sighted deal breaker.
You said "astigmatisms". That is a term that refers to a type of refractive error due to rotational asymmetry n the eye's refractive power. I think you meant to say "stigma" which means a mark of disgrace associated with a particular circumstance, quality or person. I.E. "only women/hairdressers/etc. drive the CRV-Hybrid". I don't mean to be critical but it is hard to take seriously those people who don't check their vocabularies or post videos hastily and then use incorrect words or terminology, thus injuring their own credibility.
Fuel pump recall is an easy fix. Wheel worm recall (causes steering tightness while driving) has 2 kinds of fixes, one being injected with extra lubrication thru a port, which is not very intrusive. However I'm not sure if it's permanent. Anything else?

I don’t disagree. And thanks :)

They need to redesign the rear door to carry a spare like in the old days
Awesome Video Keep Up the Amazing Work 🇺🇲 🇨🇦😎
Thanks, appreciate it :)

Nice :)
Winter mpgs are too bad..I'm getting 26-28mpg at max.
Did you have any issues with the Steering or any other issues??

Cali plates because Mazda’s corporate office is in Cali. Thanks for the complement and suggestions 👍
@txGarage what does Mazda have to do with Honda?
lol, Honda. Sorry. Yeah the plates on the cars are based on manufacturers not the state you’re actually doing the review in.
bought one today. same color.
i can't believe there isn't a hybrid odyssey yet
Oh too true 👍
No Hybrid Pilot and Passport as well.

Will catch fire nowadays
No fires please
How? You talking about the 2 major Recalls?
Is there a turn off switch for the auto start and stop system? Thanks
Yes, it’s in the console behind the shifter.

Could you perhaps take a picture? I’m still having a hard time finding it and I feel silly cause I’ve watched several videos.
Sorry I don’t have access to a CR V except from a Dealer
Disappointed w 2 recalls and not a fan of black interior but I bought one in july24 . Was considering a Rava4 hybrid

I don’t think Honda has this integrated into their cars at this time. Hyundai might be the only, non-luxury, brand I can think of that does.

lol okay, thanks for calling me out. 👍
Recalls? Did you Metion? Hello? Should i give this video a thumbs down?
lol do as you like. No, I don’t typically touch on recalls when reviewing cars. Most of the time, I get them too new for a recall to be issued.

I have a new 2025 crv hybrid. So do I need to do these things go avoid a recall? @@lionintu
@@haji8465Open Recalls should have been fixed in 2025 models before they sold it out.
