Hey mate, I'm learning French and your channel has been immensely useful. It would be amazing if you kept uploading content. How can I make a donation?
Thank you! Some very useful examples. There is one thing that I am not entirely clear about. When you use a second verb in a sentence with falloir, is it always in the subjunctive form? If not, what determines this?
Hi.Parapluie French.Your videos are amazing as always..I also have any other question which is not related to this subject.why don't we agree "de" when we use it with nouns like * l'eau de perfum or *une bouteille de vin?is it because they are uncountable? Hope u will reply.
Thank you for explaining the difference between "Il faut..." and "Il faut que..." Is there a difference between "Il faut que je ..." and "Il me faut..." ?
Keep up the great work! I was just wondering - wouldn't "what needs to be done to help expats" be a better translation of ce qu'il faudrait faire pour aider les expats? Seeing as it concerns the subject of infographics in my head it kind of means that and not "what you have to do to help the expats" - but obviously I haven't read the article and maybe you chose your translation on purpose. Edit: Il faut que la police arrête de m’embêter - the police need to stop bothering me (wouldn't that be a tad better as well?)
in familiar spoken french, we are lazy and sometime drop words like this, that seems less necessary to understand the meaning of the sentences. But only in spoken and not formal french.
S'il vous plait, je comprends pas la composition de "il lui fallait ..." là. J'ai pensé que cette expression est utiliseé seulement avec l'impersonelle, non ? Comment la phrase veut dire "He needed everything" si oui ? Est-ce que ça idiomatic ? Merci d'avance.
i just came across your twitter account and there were a few videos that you posted but arent available on youtube (such as Sims). Will they be availale in fuutre or was it a copyright issue? :) Also this : pbs.twimg.com/media/Bfj2b69CYAA_7XY.jpg:large.. how do we access it?: ) You have one of the best channels on youtube and i enjoy watching your contentmore than you can even imagine!! Particularly the explanaiton between imp and passe comp for specific verbs. I envy all the people that will have started learning Fr. a few years from now, once your channel covers more and more topics in french... oh the ease they will find learning this beautiful language! (which is infact not that hard and very logical!). Keep the fab content coming and we all love you for what you do! :D

Do native speakers more frequently say “faut” without the “il”? For example : faut que tu viennes

Merci pour cette vidéo très utile ! :)
De rien !

the subject "il" is impersonnal. but the object complement 'lui' is a person.
