I got mine from Ebay, and the main thing you want is solid copper, because I think they can be other metals too. I grabbed some washers before from a hardware store and they are more golden looking like they have brass mixed in

I didn't really have a variety of bead colors to try, but definitely feel free to use whatever looks prettiest to you
